Objective To explore the program of convolutional neural networks for the diagnosis of schizophrenia and evaluate its effects. Methods Using the convolutional neural network,the training model was trained in the lead data of 138 normal people and 183 schizophrenic patients,and the model was valida-ted by 20-fold cross-validation. Results The true positive rate of schizophrenia prediction using the convolu-tional neural network training model was 0. 749, the false positive rate was 0. 275, and the accuracy was 0. 738. Conclusion This model can achieve a strong diagnostic ability for patients with schizophrenia. Therefore,convolutional neural network for the diagnosis of schizophrenia will become an important research direction in the future.

Objective Our previous study has revealed that iASPP is elevated in human head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) and iASPP overexpression signifcantly correlates with tumor malignant progression and poor survival of HNSCC. This study investigated the function of iASPP playing in proliferation and invasion of HNSCC . Methods HNSCC cell line Tu686 transfected with Lentiviral vector-mediated iASPP-specific shRNA and control shRNA were named the shRNA-iASPP group and shRNA-NC group, respectively. The non-infected Tu686 cells were named the CON group. CCK-8 assay, flow cytometry, transwell invasion assay were performed to detect the effects of iASPP inhibition . Results Our results demonstrated that the proliferation of shRNA-iASPP cells at the time of 72 h (=32.459, =0.000), 96 h (=51.407, =0.000), 120 h (=35.125, =0.000) post-transfection, was significantly lower than that of shRNA-NC cells and CON cells. The apoptosis ratio of shRNA-iASPP cells was 9.42% ± 0.39% (=299.490, =0.000), which was significantly higher than that of CON cells (2.80% ± 0.42%) and shRNA-NC cells (3.18% ± 0.28%). The percentage of shRNA-iASPP cells in G0/G1 phase was 74.65% ± 1.09% (=388.901, =0.000), which was strikingly increased, compared with that of CON cells (55.19% ± 1.02%) and shRNA-NC cells (54.62% ± 0.88%). The number of invading cells was 56 ± 4 in the shRNA-iASPP group (=84.965, =0.000), which decreased significantly, compared with the CON group (111 ± 3) and the shRNA-NC group (105 ± 8). The survival rate of shRNA-iASPP cells administrated with paclitaxel was highly decreased, compared with CON cells and shRNA-NC cells (=634.841, =0.000). Conclusion These results suggest iASPP may play an important role in progression and aggressive behavior of HNSCC and may be an efficient chemotherapeutic target for the treatment of HNSCC.

PURPOSETo observe the therapeutic effect of interventional embolization and haemorrhage control in multiple trauma patients with a major abdominal or pelvic injury.

METHODSData of 160 multiple trauma patients with a major abdominal or pelvic injury were retrospectively analyzed. They were admitted into the Department of Emergency of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College from October 2013 to April 2016. Eighty-seven patients who received emergent intervention for embolization and haemorrhage control were set as group A, including 72 males and 15 females, with an average age of (39.32 ± 14.0) years. Patients underwent emergent intervention for embolization and hemostasis. The other 73 patients who received traditional surgeries were set as group B, including 62 males and 11 females, with an average age of (38.48 ± 13.12) years. The time from admission to emergency intervention, the time of interventional embolization, transfusion during hospitalization, length of stay and prognosis were observed. The whole treatment and prognosis were compared between group A and group B.

RESULTSIn group A, the average time from admission to intervention exploration was (132.05 ± 86.80) min, the average operation time was (149 ± 49.69) min, the average hospitalization time was (18.37 ± 4.71) days, the average amount of RBC transfusion during hospitalization was (7.2 ± 4.33) units, and the mortality was 4.60% (4 patients died). The corresponding data in group B were respectively (138.95 ± 82.49) min, (183 ± 52.39) min, (22.72 ± 6.63) days, (12.23 ± 5.43) units, and 9.59% (7 cases died). There was no statistical difference in the time from admission to operation between the two groups (p > 0.05), but there was statistical difference in operation time, RBC transfusion, hospitalization time, prognosis, and mortality between the two groups (all p < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe emergent intervention for embolization and haemorrhage control of multiple trauma patients with a major abdominal or pelvic injury and visceral organ haemorrhage has the advantages of less trauma, shorter operation time, shorter hospital stay, less blood transfusion in comparison to the traditional emergency surgeries.

Objective To analyze the influencing factors on clinical response to conbercept for diabetic maeular edema (DME).Methods A total of 51 patients (51 eyes) with DME who underwent intravitreal injection of conbercept were included in this retrospective study.The general information (age,sex,body mass index,smoking history,drinking history),blood glucose indicators (duration of diabetes,fasting blood glucose,HbA 1 c),blood pressure indicators (history of hypertension,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure),lipid indicators [total cholesterol (TC),high-density lipoprotein (HDL),apolipoprotein A (APOA)],biochemical indicators [neutrophil concentration,hemoglobin (HB),serum creatinine (Scr)] were collected.The best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and macular central macular thickness (CMT) before and after treatment were comparatively analyzed.CMT reduced not less than 20％ and BCVA increased by 2 lines as effective standards.Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to determine the factors affecting the efficacy ofintravitreal injection ofconbercept in patients with DME.Results Univariate analysis showed that diastolic blood pressure,HDL,serum neutrophil concentration,baseline CMT and baseline BCVA were associated with edema regression (P＜ 0.05);HbA 1 c was associated with vision improvement (P＜ 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that there was a history of smoking (OR=0.122,95％ CI 0.017-0.887),low diastolic blood pressure (OR=0.850,95％CI 0.748-0.966),low HDL (OR=0.007,95％CI 0.000 1-0.440),thin baseline CMT (OR=0.986,95％CI 0.977-0.995) were independent risk factors for failure outcome of edema regression (P＜0.05);long duration of diabetes (OR=1.191,95％CI 1.011-1.404),high APOA (OR=l.007,95％ CI 1.000-1.013) were independent risk factors for failure outcome of vision improvement.Age,fasting blood glucose,systolic blood pressure,TC,HB,Scr and other indicators had no effect on the efficacy of edema regression and vision improvement after treatment (P＞ 0.05).Conclusions Smoking history,long duration of diabetes,low diastolic blood pressure,low HDL level,high APOA level and thin baseline CMT are independent risk factors for the treatment of DME with intravitreal injection of conbercept.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the decontamination capability of hydrogel polymer coated ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO NP-gel) against soman. METHODS ZnO NP was synthetized using chemical precipitation method and modified with 4-pentenoic acid,and then polymerized with comonomers to obtain ZnO NP-gel. The transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and particle size instrument were used to observe the internal structure,micromorphology,particle size and zeta potential of these materials. An infrared spectroscope (IR) was used to analyze their chemical bond structure,while X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to analyze the diffraction pattern.The content of soman was determined by benzidine chromogenic reaction. ZnO NP(1 g·L-1), ZnO NP-gel (1 g·L-1) and distilled water were mixed with soman(52.2 mg·L-1),stood for 30 min,and then filtered before filtrate was subcutaneously injected into mice (40 μL·g-1) to observe the symptoms of poisoning and death. RESULTS SEM and TEM showed that ZnO NP-gel had a block structure, the zeta potential of which was (-7.89 ± 0.04) mV. The results of IR indlicated that ZnO NP-gel had stronger absorption peaks at 754 and 618 cm-1, and XRD revealed that these materials had a sharp peak at 2θ=8.06738°. The decontamination efficiency of ZnO NP-gel was higher than that of ZnO NP group at the same concen?tration (n=3, P<0.05), and the time for decontamination of 50% soman was shortened by four times. The mice were injected subcutaneously with the soman solution treated with ZnO NP-gel, which caused no convulsion or death. CONCLUSION ZnO NP-gel can perform the double function of fast adsorption and catalysis of soman,and the decontamination ability of which could be improved through polymer modification.

Objective To explore the effect of group mind-games and group counseling on training burnout among soldiers who quickly marched to the plateau for the first time .Methods Totally 399 soldiers who quickly marched to the plateau for the first time were divided randomly into to the control group ( n=201 ) and test group ( n=198 ) .The test group had particinated in group mind-games and psychological counseling twice a week for a total of 5 weeks, while the control group received no counseling .Soldier training fatigue questionnairs were used to compare the difference between the two groups before and after group mind-games and psychological counseling .Results ①The total scores of training burnout and the scores of all the factors of soldiers before counseling in the two groups was of no statistical significance (P>0.05). After counseling , the total scores of training burnout and the scores of all factors in test group were remarkably lower than those in control group,and the difference was of statistical significance (P<0.05).The total scores of training burnout and the scores of physical and psychologica exhaustion and alienaties decreased significantly after training in test group ( P<0.05), but the change was of no statistical significance in control group (P>0.05).②Soldiers who had served 1 to 2 years or over 9 years had significant difference in the scores of training burnout , physical and psychologica exhaustion ( P<0.05).Soldiers who had served 3 to 8 years had significant difference in the scores of training and the scores of each factor after counseling(P<0.05).Conclusion Group mind-games and psychological counseling can effectively help alleviate the training burnout of soldiers who quickly march to the plateau for the first time.

BACKGROUNDSarpogrelate is a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) receptor subtype 2A antagonist which blocks 5-HT induced platelet aggregation and proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells. We compared the efficacy of sarpogrelate-based dual antiplatelet therapies for the prevention of restenosis and target lesion revascularization (TLR) rates comparing with that of clopidogrel after percutaneous endovascular interventions (EVIs) of femoropopliteal (FP) arterial lesions.

METHODSThis prospective, multicenter, randomized clinical trial recruited a total of 120 patients with successful EVI of FP lesions at seven centers across China between January 2011 and June 2012. Patients were randomized to receive either sarpogrelate (100 mg trice daily for 6 months, n = 63) or clopidogrel (75 mg once daily for 6 months, n = 57). All patients also received oral aspirin (100 mg once daily for 12 months). Clinical follow-up was conducted up to 12 months postprocedure.

RESULTSThere was no significant difference between the two groups in basic demographic data. The restenosis rate was higher in the clopidogrel group (22.80%) than in sarpogrelate group (17.50%), but there was no significant difference between these two groups (P = 0.465). The TLR rate, ipsilateral amputation rate, mortality in all-cause and bleeding rate were also similar in the two groups (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSAspirin plus sarpogrelate is a comparable antithrombotic regimen to aspirin plus clopidogrel after EVI of FP arterial lesions. Dual antiplatelet therapies might play an important role in preventing restenosis after successful EVI of FP lesions.

Hedyotis hedyotidea has been traditionally used for the treatment of arthritis, cold, cough, gastro-enteritis, headstroke, etc. But few studies have screened the active compounds from extracts of H. hedyotidea. In this study, the structure of the chemical constituents from stems of H. hedyotidea were determined and the immunosuppressive activity of the compounds was evaluated. The compounds were separated and purified with silica gel, gel column chromatographies and preparative HPLC, and their structures were identified by spectral methods such as MS and NMR. Eleven compounds were obtained and identified as(6S,9S) -vomifoliol (1), betulonic acid (2), betulinic acid (3), betulin(4), 3-epi-betulinic acid (5), ursolic acid (6), β-sitosterol (7), stigmast-4-en-3-one (8), 7β-hydroxysitosterol (9), (3β,7β) -7-methoxystigmast-5-en-3-ol (10) and morindacin (11). This is the first report of compounds 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 11 from H. hedyotidea. Compounds 1, 2 and 8-11 were firstly isolated from the genus Hedyotis, and compounds 9 and 10 were isolated from the family Rubiaceae for the first time. The immunosuppressive activity of these compounds was tested using the lymphocyte transsormationtest. Compounds 4, 6 and 9 showed significant immunosuppressive activity.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical therapeutic results of allograft tendon for anatomical reconstruction of medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) for the treatment of patellar dislocations.

METHODSFrom September 2008 to June 2013, 16 patients with patellar dislocation underwent MPFL reconstructions. There were 2 males and 14 females, aged 11 to 27 years old (16 years old on average). Patellar dislocations occurred in 11 left and 5 right knees. The disease course ranged from 3 to 10 years. The frequency of dislocation ranged from 9 to 33 times (19 times on average). Affected knee joints showed patellar instability; the range of action for patella obviously increased. The X-ray films showed patellar dislocation. The preoperative Q angle was (36 ± 9)°, and the congruence angle was (63 ± 18)°. Reconstruction was performed via allograft tendon. Allograft tendon was fixed through the superomedial pole of the patella, and the other end was fixed at the natural MPFL insertion site near the medial femoral condyle with an interference screw in a bone tunnel. All the patients were evaluated postoperatively; Kujala patellofemoral scores, objective knee function, complications, and reoperations were assessed.

RESULTSPrimary healing was achieved in all cases. No infection or necrosis and absorption of grafts was observed. All the patients were followed up for an average of 16.4 months (ranged, 10 to 24 months) postoperatively. At the latest follow-up, all the patients had no pain, swelling and patellar instability; neither patella redislocation nor fracture occurred. The X-ray films showed good position of tunnel 6 months after operation, and the congruence angle was (5 ± 9)°, showing statistically significant difference when compared with preoperation (P < 0.05). The postoperative Q angle was (17 ± 8)°, the Kujala knee function score improved significantly from 45.20 ± 9.20 to 89.30 ± 6.40 at the latest follow-up, showing statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONMPFL reconstruction improves clinical symptoms. Anatomical MPFL reconstruction is effective for patellar dislocation, and it offers good recovery of the premorbid patella mechanics. The interference screw provides firm fixation. Allograft can avoid the graft harvest site morbidity, but it increases the cost of the surgery.
