Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics,diagnosis,and treatment of gastric duplication(GD)in children.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 46 pediatric patients with GD treated at our hospital from January 2008 to January 2025.The evaluated parameters included age,gender,symptoms,comorbidities,imaging data,surgical process,postoperative treatment and follow-up situation.Analyze the clinical characteristics of GD.Results Forty-four cases were cystic structures,and 2 cases were sinus tracts or tubular structures respectively.The most common site was the cardia/fundus area(20 cases).Seventeen cases were asymptomatic(7 detected during prenatal screening and 10 identified incidentally).The most common associated anomalies were inguinal hernia(4 cases),pulmonary airway malformation(3 cases),pulmonary sequestration(3 cases),and hiatal hernia(3 cases).All 46 patients underwent ultrasound examination,with an accuracy of 97.8％.Upper gastrointestinal contrast studies were performed in 16 cases and computed tomography(CT)was conducted in 34 patients.Perforation occurred in 7 cases.Surgical approaches included laparoscopy(35 cases,with 5 conversions to open surgery),open surgery(9 cases),robotic surgery(1 case),transthoracic surgery(1 case).Operative time ranged from 50 to 250 minutes(median:105 minutes).Postoperative pathology identified pancreatic heterotopia in 6 cases.Time to resume oral intake ranged from 1 to 17 days(median:4 days),and postoperative hospital stay lasted 3-21 days(median:7 days).During follow-up,one patient was readmitted for adhesive intestinal obstruction and managed conservatively,with no other significant complications reported.Conclusion Pediatric GD is a rare congenital anomaly,typically presenting as non-communicating cystic lesions with nonspecific clinical manifestations.Ultrasonography is the primary diagnostic tool,with upper GI series,CT/MRI,and endoscopy as adjuncts.While prompt surgical intervention is indicated for symptomatic cases,those complicated by perforation/infection should undergo delayed elective resection ≥ 3 months following complete inflammatory resolution.Laparoscopic approach is the treatment of choice,while endoscopic intraoperative localization or endoscopic therapy may be considered for small intraluminal lesions.

Objective:To clarify the morphological relationship between the upper airway and TMJ in patients with normal-angle skeletal Ⅱ and skeletal Ⅰ malocclusion.Methods:30 skeletal class Ⅰ and 22 skeletal class Ⅱ patients with normal-angle were included.CBCT examination was performed,and Mimics 21.0 software was used to conduct 3D reconstruction and measurements of the samples.Data was analyzed by using independent t-test and the Pearson correlation test.Results:12 measurements,including the sagittal diameter of nasopharyngeal segment,the sagittal,coronal diameter,minimum cross-sectional area,the volume of palato-pharyngeal segment and glossopharyngeum segment,the total volume of upper airway,posterior oblique slope of the articular eminence and the length of the condylar showed significant differences between skeletal Ⅱ and skeletal Ⅰ subjects with normal-angle(P＜0.05).The posterior oblique slope of the articular eminence showed a positive correlation with the sagittal diameter of the palatopharyngeal segment,volume and minimum cross-sectional area of glossopharyngeum lingual segment(P＜0.05).The liner ratio showed a negative correction with the coronal diameter of palatopharyngeal and glossapharyngeal segment as well as minimum cross-section area of glos-sapharyngeal segment(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The structure of upper airway is correlated with that of TMJ.Differences in the upper airway are statistically significant between skeletal Ⅱ and skeletal Ⅰ malocclusion with normal-angle(P＜0.05).

Objective:To investigate the mediating role of psychological capital between the perception of decent work and work engagement among Operating Room nurses, and to provide insights for improving their work engagement.Methods:From December 2023 to February 2024, a total of 307 Operating Room nurses from four class ⅢGrade A hospitals in Beijing, Chongqing, Dalian, and Zhuhai were recruited using convenience sampling. Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, Work Engagement Scale, Decent Work Scale, and Nurses' Psychological Capital Scale. Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationships among psychological capital, perception of decent work, and work engagement. Structural equation modeling and mediation analysis were performed using AMOS 24.0 software.Results:A total of 307 questionnaires were distributed, and 301 valid responses were collected, with an effective response rate of 98.05%. The mean scores for work engagement, perception of decent work, and psychological capital were (41.01±10.76), (67.30±17.86), and (93.30±15.15), respectively. Work engagement was positively correlated with both the perception of decent work and psychological capital (all P<0.01), and the perception of decent work was positively correlated with psychological capital ( P<0.01). Psychological capital partially mediated the relationship between the perception of decent work and work engagement, with the mediating effect accounting for 62.63%. Conclusions:Psychological capital plays a partial mediating role between the perception of decent work and work engagement among Operating Room nurses. Nursing managers can enhance nurses' work engagement by improving their perception of decent work and strengthening their psychological capital.

Growth arrest DNA damage-inducible protein 45 β (GADD45B) has been reported to be a regulatory factor for active DNA demethylation and is implicated in the modulation of synaptic plasticity and chronic stress-related psychopathological processes. However, its precise role and mechanism of action in stress susceptibility remain elusive. In this study, we found a significant reduction in GADD45B expression specifically in the ventral, but not the dorsal hippocampal CA1 (dCA1) of stress-susceptible mice. Furthermore, we demonstrated that GADD45B negatively regulates susceptibility to social stress and NMDA receptor-dependent long-term potentiation (LTP) in the ventral hippocampal CA1 (vCA1). Importantly, through pharmacological inhibition using the NMDA receptor antagonist MK801, we provided further evidence supporting the hypothesis that GADD45B potentially modulates susceptibility to social stress by influencing NMDA receptor-mediated LTP. Collectively, these results suggested that modulation of NMDA receptor-mediated synaptic plasticity is a pivotal mechanism underlying the regulation of susceptibility to social stress by GADD45B.

High mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), when released extracellularly, plays a pivotal role in the development of spinal cord synapses and exacerbates autoimmune diseases within the central nervous system. In experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), a condition that models multiple sclerosis, the levels of extracellular HMGB1 and interleukin-33 (IL-33) have been found to be inversely correlated. However, the mechanism by which IL-33 deficiency enhances HMGB1 release during EAE remains elusive. Our study elucidates a potential signaling pathway whereby the absence of IL-33 leads to increased binding of P300/CBP-associated factor with HMGB1 in the nuclei of astrocytes, upregulating HMGB1 acetylation and promoting its release from astrocyte nuclei in the spinal cord of EAE mice. Conversely, the addition of IL-33 counteracts the TNF-α-induced increase in HMGB1 and acetylated HMGB1 levels in primary astrocytes. These findings underscore the potential of IL-33-associated signaling pathways as a therapeutic target for EAE treatment.

To summarize the clinical experience of Professor LIU Shangyi in treating pruritus vulvae. It is believed that women have the physiological characteristics of liver and kidney as the root， and their pubic area is easily attacked by wind-dampness pathogenic qi， so the core mechanism of pruritus vulvae is proposed as wind-dampness accumulation and deficiency of liver and kidney. The core treatment method is to dispel wind-dampness and nourish the liver and kidneys， and modify the Danggui Decoction （当归饮子） to form a self-prescribed Yinyang Formula （阴痒方） as the basic prescription to treat pruritus vulvaen.

Chinese medicine therapy for removing gallstones is one of the methods for the treatment of cholelithiasis.In the view of Professor Liu Fengbin,attacking of external pathogens,improper diet and emotional disorders contribute to the main causes of cholelithiasis,and the pathogenesis of cholelithiasis is due to qi stagnation of both liver and gallbladder,and internal obstruction of damp-heat.The occurrence of cholelithiasis is closely related to deficiency of spleen and stomach,and is correlated with the pathological factors of turbid phlegm and blood stasis.For the Chinese medicine treatment of cholelithiasis,Professor Liu follows the principle of"treatment in accordance with three categories of etiological factors"(i.e,seasons,environment and body constitution).He advocates the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine,and is good at utilizing Lingnan herbs and distinctive herbs that can dissolve stones and remove stones.The treatment for cholelithiasis is mainly through the therapies of soothing liver and alleviating depression,clearing heat and removing dampness,and normalizing gallbladder function to remove stones,and is also supplemented by the therapies of invigorating spleen and replenishing qi,regulating qi to resolve phlegm,and activiting qi movement and blood circulation.Modified Da Chaihu Decoction plus Sijin Decoction is often used as a basic formula for treating cholelithiasis,which is mainly composed of Desmodii Styracifolii Herba,Galli Gigerii Endothelium Corneum,Bupleuri Radix,Curcumae Radix,Scutellariae Radix,Aucklandiae Radix,Aurantii Fructus Immaturus stir-fried with bran,Paeoniae Radix Rubra,Linderae Radix,and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma.
