Under the guidance of China′s national innovation-driven development strategy, advancing the deep integration of industry-academia-research in the healthcare sector has become a crucial pathway for enhancing medical technology levels and promoting high-quality development of hospitals. In 2021, Peking University Third Hospital established a hospital-enterprise joint research and development platform centered on hospital leadership, grounded in collaborative innovation theory. By translating the theoretical principles of " goal alignment, resource complementarity, risk sharing, and benefit sharing" into a multidimensional institutional framework, dynamic consensus mechanisms, and specialized support systems, the hospital developed a multi-tiered implementation pathway of " strategic guidance-platform implementation-research and development deployment". This approach enabled precise matching of resources and needs, efficiently advancing the innovation, transformation, and application of medical technologies. By the end of 2024, the platform had established stable partnerships with 22 enterprises, cumulatively undertaken 123 clinical research projects, as well as achieved a series of breakthroughs in fields such as cell therapy and intelligent imaging. This platform could solve problems such as divergent goals and institutional deficiencies in traditional medical enterprise cooperation, which could help to form a good innovation ecosystem and provide reference and inspiration for the construction of China′s medical technology innovation system.

Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine 2024;35(5):10-14
Objective To explore the association between green space and the risk of dyslipidemia. Methods “Dyslipidemia” and “ Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI)” were used as search terms to search PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases for studies up to September 2023. ARHQ statistical assessment and review tool and NOS scale were employed to evaluate the quality of the studies. R 4.3.1 software was used for meta-analysis. Results A total of 11 studies were included, of which 5 cross-sectional studies and 5 cohort studies were rated as “high quality”. The results of meta-analysis showed that an increase in NDVI in some buffer zones was associated with reduced risks of hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, low HDL-C, and high LDL-C, while an increase in NDVI in 100m buffer zone was significantly associated with reduced risks of all these four diseases, with hypercholesterolemia (OR=0.87, P<0.05), hypertriglyceridemia (OR=0.94, P<0.05), low HDL-C (OR=0.95, P<0.05), and high LDL-C (OR=0.87, P<0.05). Sensitivity analysis suggested that the results of most meta-analyses were robust. Conclusion With the increase in green space near residential areas, the risk of dyslipidemia may decrease.

Objective To investigate the effect and potential molecular mechanism of PTGS2 on the prognosis of colon cancer patients. Methods The transcriptomic and proteomic data of pan-cancer were collected from TCGA,HPA,UALCAN and other databases, and the expression pattern and prognostic value of PTGS2 were analyzed by combining the clinical data such as staging, histology, survival time and so on.Based on GSEA,the biological functions which were significantly activated in patients with high expression of PTGS2 were iden-tified and the colon cancer cell line SW480 was used as an example for in vitro validation.PTGS2 over-expressing cell strains were constructed, and the effect on cell proliferation was determined by CCK8 method.Different concen-trations of H2O2 were used to form gradient oxidative stress, and the changes in cell antioxidant capacity were detected. The regulatory mechanism was preliminarily verified by Western blot. Results The transcription and expression of PTGS2 were found to be significantly up-regulated in colon cancer patients(P<0.05),and the increased expression of PTGS2 was associated with an increased mortality risk(P<0.05).Data analysis and in vitro experiments showed that over-expression of PTGS2 may promote the proliferation of colon cancer cells by activating the mTOR pathway. The antioxidant effect of cells was regulated by up-regulating oxidative stress regulatory proteins SOD2 and NRF2.Conclusions PTGS2 is a potential risk factor for colon cancer and its over-expression promotes cell proliferation, enhances cell antioxidant effect and is associated with poor progno-sis of colon cancer patients.

Modified electroconvulsive therapy(MECT)has a good therapeutic effect on major depressive disorder(MDD),but its mechanism of action is still unclear. In recent years, accumulated studies have confirmed the effects of MECT on brain structure and function using neuroimaging techniques and large datasets obtained through global collaborations and the conclusions are becoming increasingly consistent. For example, there is an increase in gray matter volume in specific brain regions such as the hippocampus and amygdala,an increase in white matter microstructural integrity and normalization of brain functional connections associated with MDD,such as the hippocampus-amygdala-subgenual anterior cingulate cortex-prefrontal cortex network,hippocampus-thalamus-temporal cortex-parietal cortex network, etc. However, the relationship between these changes and the mechanism of MECT action still needs further investigation. This review provides an overview of the research progress on the structural and functional changes of the brain by MECT to provide methodological support and theoretical basis for its better application in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
