1.Influencing Factors of Depression in Patients with Postoperative Ovarian Cancer

Objective To explore the prevalence of depressive symptoms in postoperative patients with ovarian cancer and to analyze its influencing factors from multiple dimensions, including clinical characteristics, psychological factors, and laboratory indicators. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted, which enrolled 235 postoperative patients with ovarian cancer. Depressive status was assessed using the patient health questionnaire, and the demographic, pathological, and medical record data of the patients were collected using the generalized anxiety disorder scale, Pittsburgh sleep quality index, European organization for research and treatment of cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30, and ECOG performance status score. Peripheral blood tumor marker (CA125), routine blood test, lymphocyte subsets, and serum cytokine levels were measured. Univariate and multivariate binary logistic regression analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results The prevalence of depression in postoperative patients with ovarian cancer was 39.15% (92/235). Univariate analysis showed that ECOG score ≥ 2 points, pain, anxiety, poor sleep quality, low quality of life, low life satisfaction, tumor recurrence, six or more cycles of chemotherapy, as well as higher levels of CA125, NLR, and NAR, and lower hemoglobin levels were significantly associated with depression (all P<0.05). Multivariate binary Logistic regression analysis showed that anxiety (OR=1.975, 95%CI: 1.231-3.170), sleep efficiency (OR=4.181, 95%CI: 1.211-14.43), sleep latency (OR=34.806, 95%CI: 4.258-284.542), ECOG performance status score, cognitive function (OR=0.918, 95%CI: 0.868-0.97), and life satisfaction were independent risk factors for depression (all P<0.05). Laboratory indicators were not independent influencing factors in the multivariate Logistic regression model. Conclusion Depression in postoperative patients with ovarian cancer is influenced by physiological, psychological, and social factors. Clinical management should focus on patients with anxiety, sleep disorders, poor physical condition, and low life satisfaction, and a comprehensive prevention and treatment strategy centered on psychological intervention and taking into account symptom management and social support should be implemented.

Background/Aims:
Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a primary malignant neoplasm with an extremely poor prognosis. While combined chemoradiotherapy has been demonstrated to delay CCA progression to a certain extent, the absence of specific molecular biomarkers or targets significantly hinders the diagnosis and treatment of CCA.
Methods:
Through cross-analysis of proteomics and ADMA modificationomics, we identified DDX1 overexpressed in CCA with elevated R602-ADMA modifications. HPLC-MS/MS identified PRMT1 as the methyltransferase and USP10 as the deubiquitinating enzyme for DDX1. Immunofluorescence and nuclear-cytoplasmic partitioning experiments confirmed DDX1’s nuclear localization. GO and KEGG analyses clarify the biological functions of DDX1 in response to hypoxia. RNA-seq transcriptomics analyzed key pathways influenced by DDX1. A hydrodynamic in situ CCA mouse model was established to validate the chemopreventive effects of the PRMT1-specific inhibitor GSK715 on CCA development.
Results:
DDX1 promotes CCA progression both in vivo and in vitro and can be inhibited by GSK715. Mechanistically, PRMT1 mediates ADMA modification at position R602 of DDX1. This modification promotes DDX1 nuclear localization by recruiting USP10 to deubiquitinate DDX1, while simultaneously inhibiting PRMT1 degradation. DDX1 promotes the transcription of PRMT1 and USP10 by binding to the mRNA 3’UTR region, establishing a positive feedback regulatory pathway. This mechanism promotes the occurrence and development of CCA and can serve as a target for the inhibitor GSK715 to suppress CCA progression.
Conclusions
Our study identified DDX1-R602-ADMA modification as a novel ADMA modification in CCA. It further confirmed its pivotal role in CCA progression. Targeting the USP10-PRMT1-DDX1 axis may represent a significant therapeutic approach for CCA.

Constipation,a common functional gastrointestinal disorder,not only severely impairs patients'quality of life but is also highly comorbid with psychiatric conditions such as anxiety and depression.Emerging evidence indicates that gut microbiota dysbiosis is a critical link connecting these two disease states.On one hand,dysbiosis exacerbates constipation by affecting host metabolism and intestinal function;on the other,it plays a central role in the pathophysiology of mood disorders.This complex interaction is primarily mediated through the"microbiota-gut-brain axis."Therefore,elucidating the intrinsic relationship among anxiety,depression,gut microbiota,and constipation has become a frontier of interdisciplinary research.
4.The nursing care of a pediatric patient with melioidosis complicated by septic shock

This article summarizes the nursing care of a pediatric patient with melioidosis complicated by septic shock.Key nursing interventions included:to arrange the sequence of drugs reasonably to ensure the safety of the combined use of multiple drugs;systemic anti-infection treatment combined with special treatment of locally infected skin promotes wound healing;in view of the characteristics of the bacteria causing melioidosis,strict isolation and long-term monitoring measures for hospital infection control should be formulated;to enhance the disease coping ability of the child and parents and alleviate negative emotions.After 100 days of intensive treatment and meticulous nursing care,the patient's condition improved,and the discharge was achieved.
5.Roles of ncRNAs regulating metabolic reprogramming of TAMs in oncotherapy

Vast majority of human RNA are non-coding RNA(ncRNA),which can regulate physiological activities and affects functions on cells.Although each part of them is obscure,they are involved in different levels of gene regulation,from epigene-tic gene silencing to post transcriptional regulation.Metabolic reprogramming of tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)can promote tumor progression and is closely related to activation phenotypes of anti-tumor(M1)or pro-tumor(M2).A lot of ncRNAs are involved in metabolic reprogramming of TAMs,reshaping tumor microenvironment and playing a key role in tumor progression.Improving understanding of effect on ncRNA regulating metabolic reprogramming of TAMs may provide new methods for developing effective clinical treatments.
6.The relationship between tumor necrosis factor alpha inducible protein 8 family members 2,cell prolifera-tion nuclear antigen expression levels,and clinical pathological parameters and prognosis in endometrial cancer tissue

Objective To analyze the expression levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 in endometrial carcinoma(EC)and their relationship with clinicopathological parameters and prognosis.Methods Tissue samples and clinical data of 96 patients with EC who underwent surgical resection,120 patients who underwent total hysterec-tomy due to uterine fibroids and 120 patients who underwent total hysterectomy or curettage admitted to our hospital from February 2020 to February 2022 were retrospectively collected as the research objects,which were divided into the EC group,the normal endometrial group and the atypical hyperplasia endometrial group,respectively.All 3 groups were followed up until March 28,2023.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 in tissue samples of the three groups,and to analyze the relationship between the levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 and clinicopathological parameters and prognosis.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to analyze its diagnostic value for poor prognosis.Results The expression levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 in cancer tissues of the EC group were higher than those of the normal endometrial group and the atypical hyperplasia endometrial group,and those of the atypical hyperplasia endometrial group were higher than those of the normal endometrial group(P<0.05).The expression levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 in EC tissues were higher in patients with FIGO stage Ⅲ,lymph node metastasis,postmenopausal status,and ER and PR negative than patients with stageⅡ,no lymph node metastasis,premenopausal status,and ER and PR positive(P<0.05).Moreover,the expres-sion level of Ki67 in EC tissues was higher in p53 positive patients than in p53 negative patients(P<0.05),and there was a positive correlation between the both expression levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 in EC tissues(r=0.569,P<0.05).Compared with the poor prognosis group,the expression levels of TIPE2 and Ki67 in EC tissues in the good prognosis group were downregulated(P<0.05),and the AUC value of the combined detection of TIPE2 and Ki67 expression levels was 0.905,which was significantly higher than that of the single detection(P<0.05),sensitivity was 86.67%and specificity was 87.88%,and the predictive value was higher.Conclusion TIPE2 and Ki67 were highly expressed in EC tissues,and there was a positive correlation between the two,and their high expressions were related to clinicopathological features,and their combined detection had high predictive value for poor prognosis of EC.
7.GAO Shuzhong's Experience in Treating Idiopathic Tinnitus with Combination of Acupuncture and Chinese Materia Medica

To summarize Professor GAO Shuzhong's clinical experience in treating idiopathic tinnitus with a combination of acupuncture and Chinese meteria medica. It is believed that idiopathic tinnitus is mostly caused by weak lungs and spleen, kidney essence deficiency, liver constraint transforming into fire, and binding constraint of heart qi. Treatment advocates the combination of acupuncture and Chinese meteria medica in clinical practice. Acupuncture treatment mainly focus on the method of opening the orifices by syndrome identification in combination with Ermen (TE 21), Tinggong (SI 19), Tinghui (GB 2), Shenmai (BL 62) to regulate qi and blood, and supporting with Baihui (GV 20), Yintang (EX-HN 3), Taichong (LR 3), and Yanglingquan (GB 34) to soothe the liver, resolve constraint, and calm the mind. Oral administration of Chinese medicinal prescription usually includes modified Yiqi Congming Decoction (益气聪明汤) and Tongqi Powder (通气散), and the external administration of Chinese medicinal prescription can apply self-prescribed Wenqing Powder (温清散) to navel moxibustion.

As the scope of their applications expands, the relationship between technological complexity and practical application scenarios has become increasingly intertwined, necessitating a more comprehensive evaluation of both aspects. This paper, from the perspective of he althcare applications, systematically reviews the technological pathways and development of chatbots in the medical field, providing an in-depth analysis of their performance across various medical scenarios. It thoroughly examines the advantages and limitations of chatbots, aiming to offer theoretical support for future research and propose feasible recommendations for the broader adoption of chatbot technologies in healthcare.
9.Comparison of Perioperative and Long-Term Outcomes Between Simple and Complex Segmentectomies for Treatment of ≤2 cm Solid Pulmonary Nodules

Objective To compare the prognostic differences between simple and complex segmentectomies. Methods We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis of patients with solid pulmonary nodules (≤2 cm) who underwent segmentectomy. Recurrence-free survival (RFS) and local recurrence rates were evaluated. Results We included57 patients undergoing complex segmentectomy and 53 patients undergoing simple segmentectomy. Among patients who did not receive adjuvant therapy, those in the complex group had a significantly lower five-year RFS than those in the simple group (69.86% vs. 85.97%, P=0.04). Furthermore, the local recurrence rate was significantly higher in the complex group (18.75% vs. 4.65%, P=0.003) than in the simple group. Conclusion For solid pulmonary nodules (≤2 cm), complex segmentectomy is associated with inferior local control and worse RFS than simple segmentectomy.
10.Study on the Quality of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma Based on Intelligent Sensory Technology,HPLC and HS-SPME-GC-MS

Objective To evaluate the quality of Xi xiong(Gansu Chuanxiong)based on the combination of intelligent sensory technology,HPLC and HS-SPME-GC-MS.Methods The chromaticity values of 10 batches of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma samples were measured using a colorimeter and clustering analysis was performed;an electronic nose was used to measure the odor of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma,and Loadings and PCA were conducted;According to the method under the Chuanxiaong Rhizoma section of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia,the moisture,ash content and extract were determined;HPLC was used to determine the contents of ferulic acid,chlorogenic acid and ligustrazine;the volatile components were analyzed by HS-SPME-GC-MS;the quality of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma was evaluated by analyzing the correlation between chromaticity value,odor and active components.Results The total color value of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma ranged from 31.210 1±1.193 7 to 43.976 3±0.721 4,at the Euclidean distance of 10,and the 10 batches of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma could be clustered into four categories;Loadings and PCA showed that the higher contribution of sensors W2S,W5S,W2W,W1W and W1S to Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma samples,the variance contribution of the first and second principal components was 62.6%and 22.4%,respectively;water,ash and extract in 10 batches of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma all met the standards of Chinese Pharmacopoeia;the HPLC determination results indicated that the content of ferulic acid in Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma was greater than 0.192 6%,ligustrazine content was between 0.001 2%and 0.006 1%,chlorogenic acid content was greater than 0.016 4%;HS-SPME-GC-MS results indicated 52 volatile components were identified in Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma samples,the olefin compounds were rich in species,phenyphthalide compounds had the highest relative content;the correlation analysis showed that the color values ΔL*,Δb* and ΔE showed a high degree of correlation with ferulic acid and ligusticum tecidate A.Conclusion This study clarifies the intrinsic quality of Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma and provides a theoretical basis for research on Gansu Chuanxiong Rhizoma.
