A UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap/MS method was developed to identify the related substances in apixaban tablets. Complete separation was accomplished with a Waters Xbridge C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) column by linear gradient elution using a mobile phase consisting of 30 mmol/L ammonium acetate buffer solution (pH 4.50) and acetonitrile. The related substances were successfully characterized through the accurate mass and elemental composition of the parent ions and their product ions determined by electrospray positive ionization high-resolution Q-Orbitrap/MS methods. Under the established analytical condition, apixaban and its related substances were well separated, and 30 related substances were detected and identified by hyphenated techniques in apixaban tablets and their stressed samples. Among them, 11 were known impurities and the rest 19 were unknown related substances identified for the first time in this study. The results obtained are valuable for apixaban manufacturing process optimization and quality control.

In recent years, the situation of climate change has intensified, posing a threat to public health. There is an urgent need to promote public health adaptation actions to climate change. In January 2025, the National Disease Control and Prevention Administration issued the "Guidelines for Public Health Adaptation Actions to Climate Change" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines"). The Guidelines put forward 20 items of guidance on six categories of public health adaptation actions, including understanding basic concepts, comprehending important policies, learning core knowledge, paying attention to key populations, practicing a low-carbon lifestyle, and mastering protection skills. It elaborates on the key concepts and the latest policies that the public needs to understand, and also provides the behavioral concepts and protection skills that should be mastered to adapt to climate change. This article provides a systematic interpretation of the Guidelines, introducing the background, ideas, connotations, and applications of their compilation, with the aim of enhancing society′s cognitive understanding of the Guidelines.

Objective:To explore the prominent manifestations and internal associations of the overuse of short-form videos, inattention, and school refusal behavior in junior high school students. Methods:A survey was conducted among 1 106 junior high school students, utilizing the Short-form Video APP Overuse Scale, the Inatten-tion subscale of the Swanson,Nolan, and Pelham Rating Scale(SNAP-Ⅳ),and the School Refusal Behavior Ques-tionnaire to assess the extent of short-form video overuse, inattention, and school refusal behavior.By using the R language for network analysis, the core nodes of individual networks and the bridge nodes connecting the combined networks were analyzed, and the structural differences in networks across genders and grades were compared.Re-sults:The core nodes of the network pertaining to overuse of short-form video, inattention, and school refusal behav-ior were"Using short videos enhances connection with others"(expected influence value=1.03),"easily distract-ed"(expected influence value=1.99),and"school alienation"(expected influence value=0.83).The bridge nodes in the combined network were"defiant behavior"(bridge expected influence value=0.69)and"difficulty sustaining mental activities"(bridge expected influence value=0.47).Analysis of network structure differences i-dentified that the core nodes within the combined networks of the first, second, and third grades of junior high school students were respectively"prioritizing short videos over other activities","defiant behavior",and"academic aptitude".Conclusion:Junior high school students exhibiting overuse of short videos, inattention,or school refusal behavior are characterized by enhanced social connectivity through platforms such as short video apps,a propensity for distraction, and feelings of school alienation, respectively. When these three behaviors coexist, the most salient related factor is oppositional behavior, coupled with difficulties in sustaining cognitive tasks and maintaining con-centration.

Aim TostudytheeffectsofCuO,ZnOand TiO2 nanoparticles on the viability and metastatic po-tential of EC-9706 and EC-109 esophageal squamous carcinomacelllineinvitro. Methods Characteristics of CuO,ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles were detected u-sing transmission electron microscope (TEM)and dy-namic light scattering (DLS ).EC-9706 and EC-109 cells were treated with different concentrations of CuO, ZnO and TiO2 (5 ~80 mg · L-1 ).The cell prolifera-tion was analyzed by MTT assay. The cell cycle and apoptotic rates were determined by flow cytometry (FCM).The cell invasion was assayed in Transwell chambers. The expression of Bcl-2 and caspase-3 pro-tein in cells was detected by Western blot method.Re-sults CuO,ZnOandTiO2nanoparticleswerespheri-cal with primary particle size 12,20. 6,12 nm.The particles were agglomerated in water and cell culture medium with negative charge.CuO and ZnO nanoparti-cles induced decreases in EC-9706 and EC-109 cell vi-ability dose-dependently.After exposed to increasing concentrations of CuO and ZnO nanoparticles, the cell cycle analysis revealed a decreasing proportion of cells in G2/Mand S phase, and up-regulation of the cells in G0/G1 phase.Apoptotic cells also increased along with decreased cell invasion upon CuO and ZnO treatment. Nanoparticles treatment after 48 h, the activated caspase-3 expression quantity increased significantly and the Bcl-2 expression quantity decreased obviously (P<0. 05 )compared with control group.TiO2 nanop-articles had no obvious effect on the EC-9706 and EC-109 cell proliferation, cell cycle, apoptosis and inva-sion.Conclusion ComparedwithTiO2,CuOand ZnO nanoparticles can inhibit EC-9706 and EC-109 cell viability and metastatic potential, the mechanism of action involves cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 phase and apoptosis. These findings can help the development of nanoparticles as anti-cancer therapeutics for esophageal cancer.
