Objective To investigate correlations of the ratio of specific brain region volume to total brain volume(ratio％),standard uptake value(SUV)of specific brain region based on 18F-FDG PET/MR examination in Alzheimer disease(AD)patients,as well as the relationship between changes of these two.Methods Fifty AD patients were retrospectively collected.Based on FDG PET/MR,the ratio％and the mean SUV(SUVmean)of 40 specific brain regions were obtained,and the correlation between ratio％and SUVmean for each region were evaluated.According to a database of normal brains,Z-scores for ratio％and SUVmean were calculated to represent structural and functional changes in AD patients,and the correlation between these 2 Z-scores was assessed.Results Correlations were found between ratio％and SUVmean,also between Z-scores of these two parameters in 29 brain regions(r=0.288 to 0.778,all P＜0.05).Among them 7 brain regions,i.e.bilateral middle temporal gyrus,right fusiform gyrus,right hippocampus,right precuneus,left lingual gyrus and right parahippocampal gyrus exhibited correlation coefficients greater than 0.6.Conclusion There were some relationships between brain structural and metabolic functions and their changes in AD patients showed on FDG PET/MR.

Objective:To investigate the risk factors and prognoses of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) caused by pegasparaginase (PEG-Asp).Methods:A total of 252 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) were treated with PEG-Asp chemotherapy in our hospital from December 2016 to July 2021, including 8 children with CVST. The clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging features, treatments and prognoses of these children with CVST caused by PEG-Asp were analyzed retrospectively.Results:(1) CVST occurred during induction chemotherapy in 4 children, during re-induction chemotherapy in 3 children, and during consolidation stage in one child. CVST occurred in two children who received PEG-ASP chemotherapy once, in one child who received PEG-Asp chemotherapy twice, and 5 children who received PEG-Asp chemotherapy more than twice. The median time between CVST occurrence and last treatment of PEG-Asp was 20.5 d. (2) The clinical manifestations included paroxysmal headache ( n=4), nausea or vomiting ( n=3), convulsions ( n=2) and persistent blurred vision ( n=1). (3) CVST appeared at the sigmoid sinus ( n=6), transverse sinus ( n=4) and superior sagittal sinus ( n=4), of which one child was complicated with hemorrhage in left frontal parietal and right parietal cortex, and one with reversible posterior encephalopathy syndrome; 8 children were not complicated with thrombus in other parts. (4) Some of the children were complicated with abnormal blood coagulation. When CVST occurred, fibrinogen level decreased in 3 children, anti-thrombin III level decreased in 2 children, and D-dimer level increased in 3 children. (5) Six children were treated with low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), of which, 4 were treated with rivasaban and one with warfarin sequentially. The total course of anticoagulation was 56 d. (6) The symptoms of 6 children disappeared after anticoagulation; Magnetic resonance venography (MRV) showed disappeared thrombus in 4 children and reduced thrombus range in 2 children. One child with intracranial hemorrhage did not use PEG-Asp anymore; 7 accepted PEG-Asp further during follow-up chemotherapy, of which one had CVST recurrence and the range of thrombus was reduced after anticoagulant therapy. Conclusions:When children with ALL develop unexplained neurological symptoms during PEG-Asp chemotherapy, CVST should be highly vigilant. Enhanced MRI and MRV should be performed for early diagnosis. Some children are complicated with abnormal blood coagulation, and LMWH, warfarin and rivasaban are effective. The prognosis is good and there are no sequelae. Most children accepted PEG-Asp again will not have CVST again.

Therefore, it is necessary to conduct early prevention and intervention strategies targeting on identified risk factors among relevant population.

Objective To seperate fetal nucleated red blood cells (fNRBCs) from the whole maternal peripheral blood effectively by designing a circular channel microfluidic chip. Methods A microfluidic chip is designed by utilizing the margination in blood flow and the specific adhesion characteristics of immuno-agent anti-CD147. With the whole umbilical cord blood, the effects of different shear forces on the enrichment of fNRBCs was studied by immunofluorescence counting. Results Increasing shear rate in microfluidic chip could improve the number of captured fNRBCs compared with the static adhesion. With the increase of shear rate of blood flow, the number of the captured cells increased at first, and then decreased. Conclusions The use of microfluid chip can effectively seperate fNRBCs from the whole blood. The results provide an experimental reference for the non-invasive prenatal diagnosis research and the exploration on the mechanism of fetal cell migration.

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of moderate exercise therapy and fracture liaison service in osteoporotic hip fracture.Methods:From June 2018 to June 2020, 120 patients with osteoporotic hip fracture admitted to Nanjing Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University were selected. The patients were divided into study group and control group by random number table method, 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing and moderate exercise therapy, and the control group was treated with fracture liaison service, clinical observation and comparison of treatment compliance, bone mineral density (BMD), Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) score and nursing satisfaction before and after intervention.Results:The BMD and NRS scores in the study group were (0.90±0.25) g/cm 2, (1.0±0.3) points, higher than those in the control group (0.80±0.18) g/cm 2, (1.0±0.25) points. The difference was statistically significant ( t values were 2.514, 2.547, P<0.05). The total compliance rate and nursing satisfaction of the study group were 93.30% (56/60) and 95.00% (57/60) respectively, which were significantly higher than 80.00% (48/60) and 83.33% (50/60) of the control group. The difference was statistically significant ( χ 2 values were 4.615, 4.227, P<0.05). Conclusion:Moderate exercise therapy and fracture contact service intervention can effectively improve bone mineral density and total compliance rate, relieve pain and improve nursing satisfaction.

Objective To study the relationship between tyrosine kinase receptor B (TrkB)expression and anoikis-suppression and invasion in OVCAR3 ovarian cancer ceils. Methods The expression of TrkB mRNA in OVCAR3 ovarian cancer cells under two culture conditions :adhesive cells and ceil-spheroids were evaluated by RT-PCR and real-time PCR.The relationship between TrkB expression and anoikis-suppression of OVCAR3 ovarian cancer ceils was examined by RNA interference (RNAi) technic,anchorage independent culture and fluorescence-activated ceil sorting analysis.The difference in invasion and metastatic ability of OVCAR3 cells under two culture conditions and with or without TrkB silenced by small interfering RNA (siRNA) was investigated by matrigel invasion assay and in vivo studies.Results The expression of TrkB mRNA was highest in OVCAR3 ovarian cancer ceils,0.0240 ~ 0.0017,compared with the other three cell lines,0.0030±0.0006,0.0027±0.0009 and 0.0087±0.0003 respectively,andthe expression in OVCAR3 multicellular spheroids was significantly higher than that in ceils under monolayer adhesive culture,0.0437±0.0021 versus 0.0240±0.0017 (P＜0.01) . TrkB mediated anoikissuppression in OVCAR3 ovarian cancer ceils.OVCAR3 multiceilular spheroids had a higher invasion ability than OVCAR3 cells under monolayer adhesive culture,and the penetrating cells of the two groups were 71.8± 0.8 and 47.7±0.8 respectively (P＜0.01 ).The metastatic ability of OVCAR3 cells was attenuated when TrkB was silenced,and the volume of the tumors developed by OVCAR3 adhesive cells and OVCAR3 adhesive cells with TrkB silenced were (16.3±4.7) mm3 and(6.0±1.4) mm3 respectively (P＜0.01).Conclusion As an anoikis-suppressur,TrkB may increase the invasion and metastasis of OVCAR3 ovarian cancer cells.
