1.The application of the"academic-industrial-education integration"teaching model in rehabilitation clinical teaching

Objective To explore the effect of the teaching model based on"Academic-Industrial-Education Integration"in the clinical probation and practice teaching of rehabilitation.Methods 57 rehabilitation students were divided into control group(n=28)and experimental group(n=29)according to their volunteers.The control group took the traditional teaching method,and the experimental group took the teaching method of"Academic-Industrial-Education Integration".The two groups of students were compared in the assessment results of scientific research related courses,the participation rate of students in scien-tific research and innovation related projects,the satisfaction results of teaching effect,learning effect,self-theoretical ability and self-practical ability.The data of teachers' teaching results were collected.Results The scores of students in the experimental group were better than those in the control group in terms of scientific research-related courses and participation rate of scientific research,innovation and entrepreneurship projects(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the satisfaction of teaching effect and theoretical ability improvement.Students' self-learning effect satisfaction and practical ability improvement satisfaction in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The teaching achievements of teachers are in-creased,and the teaching level is promoted.Conclusion The application of"Academic-Industrial-Education Integration"teaching mode in clinical teaching of rehabilitation is helpful to improve students' participation rate in scientific research courses and innova-tive projects,improve the satisfaction of learning effect and practical ability,and promote the improvement of teaching level.

3.Pelvic Injury Discriminative Model Based on Data Mining Algorithm.

OBJECTIVES:
To reduce the dimension of characteristic information extracted from pelvic CT images by using principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares (PLS) methods. To establish a support vector machine (SVM) classification and identification model to identify if there is pelvic injury by the reduced dimension data and evaluate the feasibility of its application.
METHODS:
Eighty percent of 146 normal and injured pelvic CT images were randomly selected as training set for model fitting, and the remaining 20% was used as testing set to verify the accuracy of the test, respectively. Through CT image input, preprocessing, feature extraction, feature information dimension reduction, feature selection, parameter selection, model establishment and model comparison, a discriminative model of pelvic injury was established.
RESULTS:
The PLS dimension reduction method was better than the PCA method and the SVM model was better than the naive Bayesian classifier (NBC) model. The accuracy of the modeling set, leave-one-out cross validation and testing set of the SVM classification model based on 12 PLS factors was 100%, 100% and 93.33%, respectively.
CONCLUSIONS
In the evaluation of pelvic injury, the pelvic injury data mining model based on CT images reaches high accuracy, which lays a foundation for automatic and rapid identification of pelvic injuries.

4.Characteristics of the magnetic resonance imaging examination of nonfunctional pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms

Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs) are rare tumors with malignant potential.The pNENs could be classified into functional or nonfunctional according to associated clinical symptoms.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is helpful for preoperative diagnosis of nonfunctional pNENs.The clinical data of 22 patients with nonfunctional pNENs who were admitted to the Chinese PLA General Hospital from March 2010 to February 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.Nonfunctional pNENs were characterized by moderate to marked,consistent or progressive enhancement with capsule-like enhancement on dynamic contrast MRI,which is very important for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pNENs.
5.RNA interference affects the feak-headbox 3a gene expression in myoblast cell line L6

BACKGROUND:Recent studies found that some factors play important role in the process of denervated muscle atrophy, especial y the feak-headbox transcription factor, is the key element to regulate the denervated muscle atrophy.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of RNA interference on inhibiting feak-headbox 3a gene expression in vitro.
METHODS:The myoblast cel line L6 were cultured in the 6-wel cel culture plates, then pEGFP-N1 and smal
interfering RNA recombinant plasmid with the same ratio was transfected under the Lipofectamine2000 mediation to optimize the transfection efficiency of the detection system;2μg smal interfering RNA recombinant plasmid of feak-headbox 3a gene were transfected with myoblast cel line L6 for 48 and 72 hours.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:At 48 hours after pEGFP-N1 and siRNA recombinant plasmid transfection, a large number of bright green fluorescent displayed under fluorescence microscope with higher transfection efficiency. Real-time quantitative PCR analysis showed that there were significant differences in the sequences of feak-headbox 3a-Ⅰ, feak-headbox 3a-Ⅱ, feak-headbox 3a-Ⅲ, feak-headbox 3a-Ⅳ on feak-headbox 3a mRNA when compared with the control group at 48 and 72 hours after trasfection (P<0.05), and the inhibition effect was more significant at 72
hours after transfection when compared with that at 48 hours after transfection. Western Blot gray analysis showed that there were significant differences in sequences of feak-headbox 3a-Ⅰ, feak-headbox 3a-Ⅱ, feak-headbox 3a-Ⅲ,
feak-headbox 3a-Ⅳ on feak-headbox 3a mRNA when compared with the control group at 48 and 72 hours after
trasfection (P<0.05), and the inhibition effect was more significant at 72 hours after transfection when compared with that at 48 hours after transfection, which was same with the effect on mRNA level. RNA interference in vitro can
significantly inhibit the fork-head transcription factor feak-headbox 3a gene expression, and the inhibition effect of feak-headbox 3a gene smal interfering RNA recombinant plasmid transfected with the sequence on the mRNA and protein level of feak-headbox 3a is not clear, which can provide new idea for the gene therapy of RNA mediated denervated skeletal muscle atrophy.
6.Correlation of interleukin-12B single nucleotide polymorphism rs6887695 with clinical phenotypes of psoriasis vulgaris in Chinese Han population

Objective To analyze the correlation of interleukin(IL)-12B gene single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)rs6887695 with clinical phenotypes(including age at onset,family history,clinical types,gender)of psoriasis vulgaris in Chinese Han population.Methods This study recruited 575 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 1403 healthy controls.DNA samples were obtained from these subjects.PCR with Taqman fluorescent probe(ABI 7900 system)was performed to analyze the genotype of SNP rs6887695 in IL-12B gene.Statistical analysis was carried out by using the software SPSS 14.0,and Chi-square test was conducted to compare the frequency of the SNP rs6887695 genotypes and alleles between the patients and controls as well as between patients with different clinical phenotypes of psoriasis.Results The frequency of GG,GC and CC genotype of the SNP rs6887695 was 42.61%,45.39% and 12.0% respectively in the patients,compared to 34.42%,47.83% and 17.75% in the healthy controls(x2 =16.31,P < 0.01);the frequency of G and C allele of the SNP rs6887695 was 65.30% and 34.70% respectively in the patients,compared to 58.34% and 41.66% respectively in the healthy controls(x2 =16.54,P<0.01).Significant differences were observed in the distribution of genotypes and alleles of the SNP rs6887695 between patients with chronic plaque psoriasis(n =543)and those with acute guttate psoriasis(n =32,x2 =18.11,12.19,both P < 0.01).Increased frequency of G allele and GG genotype of the SNP rs6887695 were noted in the patients with psoriasis vulgaris compared with the healthy controls,and in the patients with plaque psoriasis compared with those with guttate psoriasis.However,there was no statistical difference in the distribution of SNP rs6887695 genotypes or alleles between 540 patients with adult onset psoriasis and 35 patients with child onset psoriasis,between 102 patients with family history and 440 patients without family history,or between 341 male patients and 234 female patients(all P > 0.05).Conclusions The IL-12B SNP rs6887695 may be associated with the susceptibility to psoriasis vulgaris in Chinese Han population,especially with the susceptibility to plaque psoriasis,but seems unassociated with the age at onset,family history or gender of patients.
7.Polymorphisms of interleukin-23 receptor (IL-23R) and its ligand (IL-12B) and their association with the susceptibility to psoriasis in Chinese Han population

Objective To investigate the association of IL-23R and IL-12B polymorphisms with susceptibility to psoriasis in Chinese Han population. Methods Patients with psoriasis were recruited based on the diagnostic criteria. In the first phase of the study, three SNPs (rs6887695, rs11465817 and rs1343152)were genotyped in DNA samples from 217 unrelated patients with psoriasis as well as 288 control subjects by direct sequencing. The positive SNP rs6887695 was validated in a larger combined sample including 578 patients with psoriasis and 1422 human controls, by using Taqman fluorescent PCR. The data were assessed by Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium test, chi square test, haplotype analysis and logistic regression model analysis. Results There was a significant difference in the allele frequency of SNP rs6887695 ( OR = 1.33, 95% CI 1.03 - 1.73,P = 0.028) of IL-12B between patients and controls, but not in that of the other two SNPs, rs11465817 and rs1343152 of IL-23R (P > 0.05 ). Hardy-Weinberg test showed that there was a linkage disequilibrium between rs11465817 and rs1343152 SNPs (D' = 0.744, r2 = 0.281 ); further analysis revealed a risk haplotype for psoriasis (A-A: OR = 2.890, P = 0.0018) constructed with 2 risk alleles of rs11465817 and rs1343152. Conclusions The susceptibility to psoriasis seems to be associated with the SNP rs6887695 of IL-1B gene but not with the SNPs rs11465817 or rs1343152 of IL-23R gene in Chinese Han population. The A-A haplotype of rs11465817-rs1343152 in IL-23R gene may increase the risk of psoriasis in Chinese Han population.
8.A comparative study on urinary complement C5b-9 complex excretion in four nephritis models of rats

AIM: To explore the significance of measuring urinary complement C5b-9 complex in various types of immune complex (IC) nephritis models of rats. METHODS: The four models of rats, namely, passive Heymann nephritis (PHN), anti-thymocyte serum nephritis(ATSN), anti-glomerular basement membrane nephritis (AGBMN) and chronic serum disease nephritis (CSDN) were reproduced. Then, the contents of complement C5b-9 complex in plasma and urine of the rats were detected with sandwich ELISA. And the deposits of C5b-9 complex in glomeruli of the rats were examined by ABC immunohistochemistry staining. RESULTS: The contents of rat plasma C5b-9 were elevated and deposits of C5b-9 in glomeruli could be detected in the four model rats. But the increased urinary excretion of C5b-9 was observed only in PHN rats. Moreover, the time of urinary C5b-9 complex excretion was earlier than that of urinary protein in the rats with PHN. CONCLUSION: Urinary C5b-9 complex excretion could be taken as one of several sensitive immunologic parameters in diagnosing of PHN and in distinguishing PHN from other type of nephritis.
