Debates persist regarding the efficacy and safety of azvudine, particularly its real-world outcomes. This study involved patients aged ≥60 years who were admitted to 25 hospitals in mainland China with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection between December 1, 2022, and February 28, 2023. Efficacy outcomes were all-cause mortality during hospitalization, the proportion of patients discharged with recovery, time to nucleic acid-negative conversion (T NANC), time to symptom improvement (T SI), and time of hospital stay (T HS). Safety was also assessed. Among the 5884 participants identified, 1999 received azvudine, and 1999 matched controls were included after exclusion and propensity score matching. Azvudine recipients exhibited lower all-cause mortality compared with controls in the overall population (13.3% vs. 17.1%, RR, 0.78; 95% CI, 0.67-0.90; P = 0.001) and in the severe subgroup (25.7% vs. 33.7%; RR, 0.76; 95% CI, 0.66-0.88; P < 0.001). A higher proportion of patients discharged with recovery, and a shorter T NANC were associated with azvudine recipients, especially in the severe subgroup. The incidence of adverse events in azvudine recipients was comparable to that in the control group (2.3% vs. 1.7%, P = 0.170). In conclusion, azvudine showed efficacy and safety in older patients hospitalized with COVID-19 during the SARS-CoV-2 omicron wave in China.

OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical efficacy of Wuhuang Shengji decoction irrigation combined with inci-sion and hanging suture in patients with perianal abscess.METHODS A total of 121 patients with perianal abscess admitted to the Anorectal Department of Ningbo Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from Jan.2022 to Jan.2024 were selected as the study subjects.According to the treatment methods, they were divided into a control group(n=37),a positive control group(n=41)anda research group(n=43).The control group was treated with incision and hanging suture, the positive control group was treated with recombinant human epidermal growth factor combined with incision and hanging suture, and the research group was treated with Wuhuang Shengji Decoction irrigation combined with incision and hanging suture. The clinical efficacy, the time of necrotic tissue shedding, new skin appearing, wound itch disappearing and wound healing and the recurrence rate were ob-served.The visual analogue scale(VAS),wound secretion score and expression levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and platelet-derived endothelial cell growth factor(PD-ECGF)in wound secretions were compared before and 14 days after treatment in the three groups.RESULTS The clinical efficacy of the study group(90.70%)was higher than that of the positive control group(87.80%)and control group(70.27%);the recur-rence rate of the study group(2.33%)was lower than that of the positive control group(9.76%)and the control group(18.92%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time required for necrotic tissue shedding, new skin appearing, wound itch disappearing and wound healing followed the trend of study group

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2018;34(8):702-704
Objective:
To summarize the impacts of the archived medical record value fund as established by the hospital, on the medical quality management, and propose improvement strategies.
Methods:
Retrospective analysis was made on 1 149 medical record scoring sheets, and the rate of connotations deducting scores in 197 of such sheets were compared. A statistical analysis was made on the archived medical records, regarding the rate of grade A medical records, defects composition of grade B medical records, the rate of connotation deducting scores, and the ability of the quality control experts (error correction ratio).
Results:
The archived medical record value fund has pushed up significantly the quality of medical records. For example, the rate of grade A medical records rose step by step from 89% to 95%; the rate of grade B medical records with single-item vetoes fell sharply, a difference of statistical significance (

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(8):1165-1171
BACKGROUND:Loose bodies in the knee are found to survive for a long term and maintain certain histophysiological properties of cartilage tissue. Therefore, a bold hypothesis is proposed that the joint cavity may be a preferred environment for chondrocyte growth and development, supporting the concept of “intracavitary culture and intracavitary transplantation”.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the trait difference of chondrogenic culture with alogenic decalcified bone matrix and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels in the joint cavity orin vitro versus cartilage in the same cavity.
METHODS:There were three groups in this experiment: inin vitro culture group, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels from newborn rabbits undergoing chondrogenic culture were co-cultured with decalcified bone matrix from adult rabbitsin vitro; in intracavitary culture group, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels from newborn rabbits undergoing chondrogenic culture were co-cultured with decalcified bone matrix from adult rabbits in the joint cavity; normal cartilage in the same cavity served as control group.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) After 12 weeks of culture, in the in vitro culture group, hematoxylin-eosin staining showed a smal amount of chondrocytes proliferated, with blue-stained nuclei; toluidine blue staining showed chondrocytes arranged disorderly, surrounded by a smal amount of matrix; Masson staining showed a smal positive area and irregular cellarrangement; type II colagen immunohistochemistry staining showed a few of yelow particles in the cytoplasm and extracelular matrix. (2) After 12 weeks of culture, in the intracavitary culture group, hematoxylin-eosin staining showed proliferation of chondrocytes with blue-stained nuclei; toluidine blue staining showed cluster-shaped arrangement of chondrocytes surrounded by the matrix with lacuna formation; Masson staining showed there were many positive cels with blue-stained matrix that arranged in a certain stress direction; immunohistochemical identification of type II colagen was positive, and brown-yelow stained particles could be discerned in the extracelular matrix. These findings indicate that tissue-engineered cartilage can be generated by co-culture of alogenic decalcified bone matrix and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels in the joint cavity orin vitro, and the cartilage cultured in the joint cavity is more close to normal cartilage than that cultured in vitro.

OBJECTIVE To find out the status about detection and drug resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) of urogenital tract infection in Shaoxing area of Zhejiang Province.METHODS The detections and drug sensitive tests of Uu and Mh adopting the reagent boxes produced by bioMerieux Company in France were made.RESULTS In 2678 samples of suspicious urogenital tract infection patients,980 samples cultured of mycoplasma were positive, and the positive rate was 36.6%.Among these cases,763 samples(28.5%) were Uu positive;116 samples(4.3%) were Mh positive. In the drug sensitive test,Uu and Mh were most sensitive to PRI,JOS,DOX and TET.To CFLX,OFL,ERY,CM and AM,they had the highest level of drug resistance.CONCLUSIONS The clinical therapy of mycoplasma infection ought to choose the appropriate antibiotics based on the results of the drug sensitive test of the laboratory.
