OBJECTIVE To explore the isolation rates, drug resistance and molecular epidemiological characteristics of carbapenem-resistant gram-negative bacilli(CRGNB)isolated from intensive care units(ICU)of a tertiary hos-pital so as to provide bases for prevention and control of the nosocomial infections caused by CRGNB.METHODS The environmental surfaces that were high frequently contacted by the patients with CRGNB infections[carbapen-em-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae(CRKP),carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAB),carbap-enem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa(CRPA)]and their hands were randomly sampled from the ICU of a ter-tiary three-A hospital from Apr.2024 to Aug.2024.Multilocus sequence typing(MLST)and detection of drug re-sistance genes were performed by means of complete genome sequencing technique and bioinformatics, and the ho-mology between the CRGNB strains isolated from the patients and the strains isolated from their surrounding was observed.RESULTS Totally 30(7.85%)strains of CRGNB were isolated,23(6.02%)of which were CRKP,7(1.83%)were CRAB,and no strain of CRPA was detected. The molecular subtyping showed that ST 11(93.33%)was dominant among the CRKP strains, and ST2(69.23%)was dominant among the CRAB strains. The phylogenetic analysis indicated that there were clonal transmission tendencies of CRKP-ST11 and CRAB-ST2.The analysis of drug resistance genes showed that the CRAB strains mainly carried ant(3")-lla(100%),blaOXA-23(92.31%)and amvA(92.31%);blaOXA-23 and blaOXA-66 were the major carbapenems resistance genes;the CRKP strains mainly carried the drug resistance genes emrDh,rmtB1,fosA and kdeA(all were 96.67%),followed by the carbapenems resistance gene blaKPC-2(90.00%).CONCLUSIONS ST11 is the predomi-nant molecular subtype for CRGNB among the CRKP strains isolated from the ICU,anf ST2 predominant among the CRAB strains;the carrying rates of drug resistance genes are high. There is risk of clonal transmission. It is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and take comprehensive infection control measures so as to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections.

OBJECTIVES:
Public service motivation refers to the idea of commitment to the public service, pursuit of the public interest, and the desire to perform work that is worthwhile to society. This study investigates how challenge stress and hindrance stress influence job performance among healthcare workers in Chinese public hospitals. It has also examined the mediating effect of public service motivation.
METHODS:
Data of 1594 healthcare workers were obtained from typical public hospitals in eastern, central, and western China. To test our hypotheses, we used descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation modeling, and subgroup analysis to investigate the sample.
RESULTS:
Challenge stress and hindrance stress were strongly correlated among healthcare workers in Chinese public hospitals (β = 0.59; p < 0.001). Challenge stress was significantly positively associated with public service motivation (β = 0.14; p < 0.001) and job performance (β = 0.13; p < 0.001). Hindrance stress was significantly negatively associated with public service motivation (β = - 0.27; p < 0.001) and job performance (β = - 0.08; p < 0.05). Public service motivation was directly positively associated with job performance (β = 0.58; p < 0.001), and it indirectly mediated the association between job stress and job performance.
CONCLUSIONS
This study provides important empirical evidence on the effects of job stress and public service motivation on job performance among healthcare workers in Chinese public hospitals. Job performance may be raised by limiting hindrance stress, which provides moderate challenge stress and increases public service motivation.

The evaluation of the adsorption of methylene blue (MB) in plasma by sulfonated polyethersulfone (SPES) adsorbent column was carried out in this study. The results indicated the adsorption of MB by SPES adsorbent column was more efficient than that by polyethersulfone (PES). In addition, the changes of the concentration of BSA solution passing through adsorbent column along with the time and the biochemical indices of plasma before and after adsorption treatment were also investigated. The results showed that the adsorption amount of BSA by PES adsorbent column was larger than that by SPES, and the biochemical parameters such as total protein, albumin, glucose, triglyceride and total cholesterol in plasma varied slightly before and after passing through the column, which were still within the clinical indices.

The evaluation of the adsorption of methylene blue (MB) in water by the sulfonated polyethersulfone (SPES) adsorbent column was carried out in this study after the SPES was prepared by gassy SO3 method. The polyethersulfone (PES) adsorbent column was used as control. The results indicated that the adsorption of MB by adsorbent column of SPES was more efficient than that of PES. In addition, the effect of the flow rate or ionic intensity on the adsorption and desorption of MB in water by SPES adsorbent column were also investigated. The results showed that the removal rate in water by SPES adsorbent column was larger than that in saline. However, the desorption experiment revealed that the desorption amount of the SPES adsorbent column in saline was larger than that in water.

6.Chemokine Fractalkine Induced Monocytes Adhesion on Human Umbilical Vascular Endothelial Cells
Chinese Journal of Hypertension 2007;0(05):-
Background Fractalkine(FKN) is a novel chemokine that mediate the adhesion of monocyte to vascular endothelial cell, involving in the development of atherosclerosis(AS).Objective To investigate the effect of interleukin-18(IL-18) on the fractalkine expression in human umbilical vascular endothelial cells(HUVEC),and the role of fractalkine in the monocytes THP-1 adhesion on HUVEC.Methods Fractalkine expression in HUVEC was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),and the adhesion of THP-1 to HUVEC was assessed by Flow Chamber. Results Incubation of HUVEC with IL-18 upregulated FKN mRNA expression in dose-dependent manner. In the concentration of IL-18 ranged 0,25,50,100 ?g/L,the FKN mRNA was increased from(0.10?0.01),(0.49?0.04),(0.63?0.09) to(0.85?0.07)(P trend
