Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2026;67(15):1682-1685
In Treatise on Blood Syndromes (《血证论》), TANG Rongchuan proposed the theory of "yin-yang, water-fire, qi-blood", interpreting the pathogenesis and treatment of insomnia from the perspectives of the mutual generation between water and fire as well as between blood and fire. He considered the "disharmony of blood and fire" in the heart and liver as an important mechanism underlying insomnia. Blood deficiency failing to restrain fire and heart fire harassing the spirit may lead to insomnia, which should be treated by clearing fire and nourishing blood, with Huanglian Ejiao Decoction (黄连阿胶汤). Yin deficiency with qi stagnation and water retention transforming into phlegm, followed by phlegm disturbing the heart spirit, may cause insomnia, which should be treated by nourishing yin, promoting urination, and regulating qi, using Zhuling Decoction (猪苓汤). Failure of blood to nourish the liver and the presence of fire in liver channel may result in insomnia, which should be treated by nourishing blood and clearing fire, with Suanzaoren Decoction (酸枣仁汤). Hyperactivity of ministerial fire and phlegm obstructing qi movement, thereby disturbing the liver spirit, should be treated by regulating qi and resolving phlegm, with Wendan Decoction (温胆汤). Floating yang failing to be restrained and the ethereal soul failing to return to the liver should be treated by restraining yang and guiding it back to the liver, with modifications of Erjia Longgu Decoction (二加龙骨汤).

Objective:To explore the effectiveness of interprofessional cooperative simulation in teaching emergency care for shock patients among intensive care unit (ICU) undergraduate nursing students. Methods:An interprofessional cooperative simulation-based teaching faculty team was established for ICU undergraduate nursing students, and a shock case library was developed. Using convenience sampling, 32 ICU undergraduate nursing students in 2022 were selected as the control group and received conventional simulation-based teaching, with students rotating through roles as nurses, standardized patients, doctors, and family members. In the experimental group, 34 ICU undergraduate nursing students in 2023 and 24 ICU clinical medicine interns were recruited to act as doctors for interprofessional cooperative simulation-based teaching. Each group was divided into subgroups, with each subgroup consisting of 4-5 nursing students. One group completed simulation-based training per month for a total of 8 sessions, with each session lasting 3 hours. The teaching adopted the on-site "tidal ward" in situ simulation, and the scenarios included patient history collection and health assessment, shock emergency care, nursing evaluation, and health education. The differences between the two groups of nursing students were compared in terms of ICU exit theoretical assessment score, objective structured clinical examination skill assessment score, and satisfaction with simulation-based teaching. SPSS 22.0 was used for independent samples t test and Mann-Whitney U test. Results:The experimental group achieved significantly higher scores in theoretical assessment (84.65±8.06), total score of satisfaction with simulation-based teaching (101.00±5.13), and clinical learning and multiprofessional team dimensions (47.32±3.35) compared to the control group ( P<0.001). The experimental group achieved higher scores in objective structured clinical examination skill assessment (81.40±7.22), guiding feedback and reflection (37.50±3.04), and judgmental thinking and clinical reasoning (16.00±2.03) compared to the control group, though the differences were not significant ( P=0.977, 0.668, and 0.636). Conclusions:Interprofessional cooperative simulation enhances the shock patient emergency care abilities and satisfaction with simulation-based teaching for undergraduate nursing students.

Aim To explore the material basis and un-derlying mechanism of Qingre Huoxue Formula(QRHXF)in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)by applying network pharmacology, molecular docking technology and bioinformatics com-bined with animal experiments. Methods TCMSP,ECTM,and BATMAN databases were used to obtain active components and corresponding targets of QRHXF;GEO and DisGeNENT databases were con-ducted to acquire NSCLC-associated differential expres-sion genes.By intersecting them, the common targets were obtained. It was chosen to construct a herb-com-ponent-disease network and protein-protein interaction(PPI)network.Furthermore,DAVID database was used to perform gene ontology(GO)function and Kyo-to encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)path-way enrichment analyses. The molecular docking was presented by adopting Autodock Vina program to verify key targets.RNA-seq datawere downloaded from TC-GA database to obtain differential gene expression.Ka-planMeier(KM)analysis was performed to analyze the relationship between gene expression and overall sur-vival.Mouse subcutaneous tumor model of LLC was established. The effects of QRHXF on body weight, tumor volume and weight were monitored for pharmaco-dynamic analysis.Tumor tissues slides were stained with hematoxylin and eosin(HE)for histopathological examination.Immunohistochemistry(IHC)staining was employed for detecting Ki67 and EP300.Western blot was performed to measure the protein expression of TP53,CDK1 and NTRK1.Results The results of net-work pharmacology showed that a total of seven com-mon targets were screened from NSCLC and QRHXF,and the effect of QRHXF on anti-NSCLC may occur via multiple signaling pathways, including cell cycle. The results of molecular docking indicated that the main ac-tive components of QRHXF had low binding energy and stable docking conformation with the molecular target for treating NSCLC.According to bioinformatic analy-sis,there were significant differences in BRCA1,CDK1 and NTRK1 mRNA expression between tumor tissues and normal tissues, which were also prognostic factors for overall survival.Animal experimental research showed QRHXF inhibited subcutaneous tumor growth(P<0.01)and improved the quality of life in mice with NSCLC.After QRHXF intervention, the density of tumor cells was significantly reduced, and necrotic are-as were increased. The expressions of Ki67 and EP300 were significantly decreased.Compared with the model group,Western blot showed up-regulation of TP53 and NTRKA(P<0.05),whereas CDK1 were down-regu-lated(P<0.05).Conclusion QRHXF exerted anti-NSCLC effects by regulating NTRK1,EP300,TP53,CDK1 and inducing cell cycle, cell cycle arrest and in-hibiting tumor growth, metastasis and angiogenesis.
