ObjectiveTo analyze the correlation between family nurturing care environment and children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or at high risk, and to provide scientific evidence for the tertiary prevention of ASD in children at high risk. MethodsA case-control study, enrolling 30 children with ASD or at high risk for ASD as the case group, and 113 normal children who underwent routine physical examinations at the community health service centers and district maternal and child health care hospital during the same period as the control group, was conducted. The information for maternal pregnancy and childbirth, children, and family nurturing care was collected through the child healthcare system and a self-designed questionnaire survey. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to identify the relevant factors for ASD or high-risk status in children. ResultsMultivariate logistic regression analyses showed that among maternal and child factors, maternal adverse conditions during the3 months before pregnancy and throughout pregnancy (OR=6.026, 95%CI: 1.575‒23.062), and male gender (OR=4.064, 95%CI: 1.046‒15.784) were positively correlated with ASD or high risk status in children (P<0.05). Among family nurturing care factors, unbalanced dietary structure (OR=7.281, 95%CI: 1.819‒29.148) was positively correlated with ASD or high-risk status in children (P<0.05), while paternal companionship >2 h·d^-1 (OR=0.025, 95%CI: 0.001‒0.426) and parent-child interaction with responsive care (OR=0.824, 95%CI: 0.704‒0.963) were negatively correlated with ASD or high-risk status in children (P<0.05). ConclusionFactors positively correlated with ASD or high-risk status in children include maternal adverse conditions during the 3 months before pregnancy and throughout pregnancy, male gender, and unbalanced dietary structure. Factors negatively correlated with it include paternal companionship and parent-child interaction with responsive care. Clinically, comprehensively management of maternal pre-pregnancy and prenatal health, children’s diet and family nurturing care, along with focused developmental monitoring of boys, and efforts toward early detection, early diagnosis and early intervention should be strengthened.

Objective The purpose of the study is to breed homozygous interferon-γ knockout(IFN-γ-/-)mice and optimize the breeding strategies to achieve continuous and stable reproduction of IFN-γ-/-mice,which could be used as an ideal animal model for fundamental research.Methods Initially,heterozygous IFN-γ knockout(IFN-γ+/-)C57BL/6J mice were used as the parental generation for breeding.Subsequently,3 breeding strategies were employed using the offspring:(1)female heterozygotes mated with male heterozygotes;(2)male homozygotes mated with female heterozygotes;(3)female homozygotes mated with male homozygotes.The number and survival rate of IFN-γ-/-mice were compared across the three breeding strategies to determine the optimal breeding strategy.Under the optimal strategy,the effects of female mating age and diet type on the reproductive performance of IFN-γ-/-mice were further evaluated.Data from the first three litters of 60 IFN-γ-/-female mice,including litter size,number of weaning survivors,and weaning survival rate,were recorded and analyzed.In addition,the effects of dietary supplementation of pregnant mice and environmental optimization measures,such as the provision of shelters,were evaluated.Results Under conditions where the nutritional needs of pregnant mice were adequately met by supplementation with egg yolk and sunflower seeds,mating of female and male IFN-γ-/-mice result ed in a litter size of five to eight IFN-γ-/-mice,demonstrating higher efficiency compared to other breeding strategies.In addition,diet type and mating age significantly influenced female reproductive performance.When 7～9 weeks old female IFN-γ-/-mice were mated to male IFN-γ-/-mice and fed a high-protein breeding diet,litter size(6.9±1.7),weaning survival number(6.5％±2.0％)and weaning survival rate(93.2％±17.8％)were higher than those under other conditions.In addition,providing shelters to prevent fighting between breeding pairs further improved reproductive outcomes.Conclusions By adopting an optimized breeding strategy,combined with a high-protein diet,nutritional supplementation,and standardized mating age management,the breeding efficiency and stability of IFN-γ-/-mice can be significantly improved.This provides a reliable animal model for related research.

BACKGROUND:Currently,numerous experiments delve into the intricate anatomy and biomechanical behavior of distinct segments of the supraspinatus muscle.However,the impact of shoulder joint stress resulting from damage to various regions of this muscle remains a scarcely explored domain.Understanding the repercussions of supraspinatus muscle injuries across different regions on the stress distribution and magnitude of articular cartilage and the glenoid is crucial for providing some theoretical support for clinical diagnosis and treatment. OBJECTIVE:To ascertain the maximum stress values by simulating different degrees of supraspinatus muscle rupture on the humeral cartilage surface,glenoid lip,and glenoid cartilage joint surface using three-dimensional finite element software. METHODS:Normal and healthy shoulder joint CT or MRI scans were processed through Mimics and Geomagic to extract molds.Subsequently,models were constructed via Solidworks.Varying degrees of supraspinatus muscle damage were simulated for each model to mimic fractures in different regions.Finally,Ansys,mechanical software,was employed for three-dimensional finite element biomechanical analysis,calculating stress values for the humeral cartilage surface,glenoid lip,and glenoid cartilage joint surface. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)With worsening degrees of supraspinatus muscle injury,the stress on the shoulder joint cartilage surface and glenoid lip escalated.(2)Among various regions,the anterior part of the supraspinatus muscle exhibited paramount significance.(3)While supraspinatus muscle fractures of differing degrees impacted the magnitude of cartilage stress on the glenoid labial surface,the stress distribution remained constant.(4)It is indicated that during the initial stages of horizontal abduction of the shoulder joint,the anterior region assumes a pivotal role,followed by the posterior deep region.Injury to the anterior part of the supraspinatus muscle leads to a significant surge in stress within the shoulder joint's soft tissue,potentially causing damage to the top of the glenoid lip and the anterior part of the glenoid cartilage.

Objective:To understand the incidence rate of herpes zoster (HZ) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) in Beijing, and analyze the incidence trend of HZ and PHN from 2015 to 2022.Methods:Cases of HZ and PHN from 2015 to 2022 were retrieved from the Hospital Information Systems (HIS) of all primary and above hospitals/clinics in three districts representing the urban, inner suburban, and outer suburban areas of Beijing. After duplication screening, the first visit cases were screened, and the incidence characteristics were described. The incidence rate of HZ and PHN in each year by sex and age group and the age-standardized incidence rate were calculated. The annual percentage increase (APC) of incidence rate was calculated using the Joint regression model, and the change trend was analyzed.Results:The age-standardized incidence rate of HZ in Beijing from 2015 to 2022 ranged from 7.44‰ to 10.05‰, with an average annual incidence rate of 8.95 ‰, significantly increasing with age ( P<0.001). The Joinpoint regression model showed that the overall age-standardized incidence of HZ remained relatively stable, with no significant difference (APC=2.28%, t=1.56, P=0.170). However, the incidence rate among the 0-19-year-old group exhibited a trend of decrease (APC=-10.70%, t=-6.29, P<0.001). For PHN, the age-standardized incidence in Beijing ranged from 0.77‰ to 2.67‰, with an average annual incidence rate of 1.59‰ and a proportion of 9.48% to 26.86% among HZ cases. Both the incidence of PHN and its proportion among HZ cases increased with age ( P<0.001). The age-standardized incidence of PHN increased annually (APC=18.56%, t=9.02, P<0.001). Conclusion:The incidence rate of HZ and PHN in Beijing continues to be at a high level, and PHN shows an increasing trend over time.

BACKGROUND:Anterior cruciate ligament injury tends to lead to secondary meniscus injury and osteoarthritis.At present,there are few studies on the mechanics of meniscus and articular cartilage injury caused by anterior cruciate ligament injury. OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament on the stress of medial and lateral meniscus and articular cartilage of knee joint by finite element analysis. METHODS:The CT and MRI images of the knee joint of a healthy volunteer were selected,and the scan data were imported into Mimics,Geomagic and SolidWorks software.After registration and fusion,four kinds of three-dimensional knee joint models were established:models of intact anterior cruciate ligament,rupture of the posterior external tract of anterior cruciate ligament,rupture of the anterior internal tract of anterior cruciate ligament,and absence of anterior cruciate ligament.Finally,data were imported into Ansys software to apply four different modes of loads to the knee joint:Longitudinal loads of 750 N were applied to the top of the femur;longitudinal load of 750 N to the top of the femur and forward thrust of 134 N behind tibia;a longitudinal load of 750 N and a varus moment of 10 Nm were applied to the top of the femur to simulate genu varus;750 N longitudinal load and 4 Nm internal rotation moment were applied to the proximal end of the femur to simulate knee internal rotation.The finite element analysis of biomechanical stress changes of the meniscus and articular cartilage of the knee joint was carried out. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)In the straight position of the knee joint,when the anterior medial tract of the anterior cruciate ligament was broken and the anterior cruciate ligament was missing under longitudinal loads of 750 N at the top of the femur,the total stress and peak value of meniscus increased significantly,but the stress distribution of the meniscus and the stress of articular cartilage did not change significantly.In longitudinal load of 750 N to the top of the femur and forward thrust of 134 N behind tibia,the fracture of the anterior internal tract of the anterior cruciate ligament increased the tibia forward,the compressive stress of posterior angle of the meniscus increased,and the stress of the articular cartilage did not change significantly.During simulating genu varus,the posterior angular stress of the lateral meniscus decreased,the stress of the medial meniscus increased,and the stress of articular cartilage slightly decreased when anterior cruciate ligament injuries were complete.When the anterior internal tract of the anterior cruciate ligament was broken or absent under knee internal rotation,the equivalent stress peak value of femoral cartilage and tibia cartilage shifted from medial cartilage to lateral cartilage,and the stress peak value of meniscus increased significantly.At this time,the anterior internal tract of the anterior cruciate ligament played a leading role in the rotational stability of the knee joint.(2)These results indicate that the risk of secondary meniscus injury in patients with anterior and medial anterior cruciate ligament band rupture was much higher than that in patients with posterior and external anterior cruciate ligament band rupture when the knee was in the upright standing position,varus and pronation,and there was no significant difference in the impact on articular cartilage.

BACKGROUND:The incidence of medial collateral ligament injuries in the knee joint is easy to lead to secondary meniscus and cartilage damage,and long-term chronic damage can lead to the occurrence of osteoarthritis.At present,there are few studies on the mechanics of meniscus and articular cartilage injury caused by medial collateral ligament rupture. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of different degrees of medial collateral ligament injury on the biomechanics of meniscus and cartilage of knee joint. METHODS:The CT and MRI examinations of the knee joint of a healthy volunteer were performed to obtain the image data.The scanning data were imported into Mimics,Geomagic,and Solidworks software in turn.After registration and fusion,a 3D model of normal knee joint was established.On this basis,models of medial collateral ligament injury in different degrees of knee joint were simulated,which were divided into four groups,including:(1)medial collateral ligament was intact;(2)deep medial collateral ligament fracture;(3)superficial medial collateral ligament fracture;(4)complete rupture of medial collateral ligament.Finally,Ansys software was introduced to apply three modes of loads to the knee joint:(1)10 N·m valvaration torque was applied to the top of the femur.(2)A 4 N·m internal torque was applied to the top of the femur.(3)A 4 N·m external torque was applied to the top of the femur.The effects of four groups of models on knee biomechanics under different loads were analyzed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)In the extension position of the knee joint,when a 10 N·m valgus torque was applied to the knee joint,the overall stress of the posterolateral meniscus increased with different degrees of medial collateral ligament injuries,while the stress of the articular cartilage did not change significantly.The peak stress of the posterolateral meniscus increased significantly with superficial medial collateral ligament rupture.(2)In the knee extension position,when a 4 N·m internal rotation torque was applied to the knee joint,the overall stress of the medial and lateral meniscus increased after different degrees of medial collateral ligament injury.When superficial medial collateral ligament rupture occurred,the peak stress of the meniscus shifted from the anterior horn of the medial meniscus to the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus.(3)In the knee extension position,applying a 4 N·m external rotation torque to the knee joint,the peak stress of the posterolateral meniscus increased more significantly than that of the medial meniscus,and the stress of the articular cartilage changed less.(4)These results show that the risk of meniscus injury secondary to superficial medial collateral ligament rupture is much higher than that of deep medial collateral ligament rupture when the knee is in extension,and the lateral meniscus is more vulnerable to injury than the medial meniscus.Both superficial medial collateral ligament and deep medial collateral ligament play an important role in the rotational stability of the knee joint.

Objective:To provide epidemiological data and clinical evidence for cosmetic adverse reactions.Methods:A retrospective clinical analysis was carried out on a total 820 outpatients (23 males and 797 females) suspected to be with cosmetic adverse reactions from January 2014 - October 2017, and average age of these patients was 7~75 (32.66±8.09) years. Suspicious cosmetics patch tests were performed in some patients. Suspicious cosmetics patch tests were performed in 687 patients.Results:Among 820 patients with cosmetic adverse reactions, women accounted for 97.20% and men accounted for 2.80%. Age distribution was most common among young people aged 21-40 years, accounting for 71.34%. The highest level of education was higher education, accounting for 59.69%. Occupational distribution was most commonly concentrated in employees and unemployed persons, accounting for 28.54% and 18.66%, respectively. A history of cosmetics allergies accounted for 17.28%. Cosmetic contact dermatitis was the most common clinical type of cosmetic adverse reactions, accounting for 92.70%. A total of 1682 suspected pathogenic cosmetics were involved. The positive rate of the cosmetic original patch test was 42.39%. Among the cosmetics with a positive patch test, moisturizing, anti-wrinkle and whitening freckle cosmetics accounted for the highest proportion, 31.59%, 15.09%, and 12.68%, respectively.Conclusions:Cosmetic contact dermatitis is the most common type of cosmetic adverse reaction. Patch testing is helpful in identifying the contact allergens in cosmetic adverse reaction.

Objective:To explore the influence of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) on nocturnal blood pressure and angina pectoris in patients undergoing cardiac artery bypass graft (CABG) .Methods:From January to December 2018, we selected 76 patients with simple CABG at Beijing Anzhen Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University by purposive sampling. Before surgery, patients were treated with the portable sleep respiratory monitoring and bedside blood pressure monitoring. Patients were divided into group of mild or no OSAHS ( n=35) and group of moderate or severe OSAHS ( n=41) based on apnea hypopnea index (AHI) . We compared the differences in the baseline data, sleep respiratory examination indexes, nocturnal angina pectoris, blood pressure at 21∶00, 3∶00 and 6∶00 among patients between two groups. Results:Among CABG patients with moderate or severe OSAHS, the systolic pressure at 3∶00 and 6∶00 was (115.8±12.5) mmHg and (156.8±17.5) mmHg respectively all higher than those among CABG patients with mild or no OSAHS with statistical differences ( P<0.05) ; the incidence of nocturnal angina pectoris was 29.27% (12/41) higher than that [2.86% (1/35) ]among CABG patients with mild or no OSAHS with a statistical difference ( P<0.05) . Logistic regression analysis showed that the systolic pressure at 3∶00 could affect the occurrence of nocturnal angina pectoris among CABG patients with OSAHS ( OR=1.050, 95% CI 1.003-1.100, P=0.039) ; the decrease of average oxygen saturation could also affect the occurrence of nocturnal angina pectoris among those patients ( OR=0.628, 95% CI 0.397-0.993, P=0.046) ; the differences were all statistical. Conclusions:Early morning systolic pressure of CABG patients with OSAHS raises, and OSAHS may increase the incidence of nocturnal angina pectoris among CABG patients.
