Objective:To understand the prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adults in Qingdao. Methods:A multi-stage stratified random sampling method was used to select 6 240 local residents aged ≥18 years in Qingdao as study subjects from May 2019 to September 2020, the demographic data of the study subjects were collected by face-to-face survey method. The prevalence of CKD in adults in Qingdao were analyzed using software SPSS 25.0.Results:A total of 5 996 adults in Qingdao were included in this study. The overall prevalence rate of CKD in the adults was 8.22%. The prevalence rates of CKD in men and women were 7.70% and 8.74%, respectively. The prevalence rate of CKD was 10.28% in urban residents and 7.25% in rural residents, the differences in the prevalence of CKD among different age, educational level and marital status groups were significant ( P<0.001). The prevalence of CKD tended to increase with age and decrease with the increase of education level. Conclusions:The prevalence of CKD in adults of Qingdao was relatively high. It is necessary to actively carry out the early prevention and treatment of CKD and strengthen the screening and prevention of CKD to reduce the incidence and slow development of CKD.

Objective To investigate the application of susceptibility weighted imaging(SWI)and diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)parameters in clinical diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of mild traumatic brain injury(mTBI).Methods Forty-four mTBI patients were enrolled for observation group, and 32 healthy volunteers were selected as controls. All the patients underwent conventional magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),SWI and DTI scanning of the brain.Fractional anisotropy(FA)and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)were measured in regions of interest(frontal lobe, genu of corpus callosum, external capsule, internal capsule, thalamus, splenium of corpus callosum, and semioval center). The Glasgow outcome Scale-Extended for traumatic brain injury(GOSE)-TBI was used to evaluate the prognosis at 6 months after discharge.FA and ADC values were compared between two groups by t-test.Correlations between imaging parameters and prognosis were analyzed by Spearman test. Results SWI showed microhemorrhages in 88.6%mTBI patients, with a mean number of 2.36±1.26(range 0-5)and a mean area of(349.48±225.82)mm2.The mean GOSE-TBI score was 7.50±0.51(range 7-8)in the observation group at 6 months after discharge, with 50.00%(22/44)of the patients scored 8.The hemorrhage area was negatively correlated with the GOSE-TBI score(P<0.001).The FA values of the frontal lobe, genu of corpus callosum and left internal capsule in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the FA value of the thalamus between the two groups(P>0.05).The FA values of the frontal lobe and genu of corpus callosum were positively correlated with the GOSE-TBI score(P<0.001).The FA values of the internal capsule and corpus callosum splenium were negatively correlated with the GOSE-TBI score(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the ADC values between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion SWI can sensitively detect microbleeds in mTBI patients.DTI shows mild white matter injury in mTBI patients.FA value is related to the GOSE-TBI score, and is a sensitive index for evaluating the severity and prognosis of mTBI.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum miR-320b and carotid atherosclerosis in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods From January 2017 to December 2017,patients with acute ischemic stroke visited the Department of Neurology, the Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University were enrolled.According to the findings of carotid artery ultrasonography, they were divided into plaque group and plaque-free group. The baseline clinical data such as demographic data, vascular risk factors, and blood biochemical indicators were collected.Reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expression level of serum miR-320b.Multivariatelogistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent risk factors for carotid atherosclerosis. Results A total of 135 patients with acute ischemic stroke were enrolled in this study, including 58 females and 77 males, aged 58.4 ± 10.6 years. There were 85 patients in the plaque group and 50 in the plaque-free group. The total cholesterol (t =5.523,P =0.023) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (t =4.415,P =0.044) in the plaque group were significantly higher than those in the plaque-free group, while high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (t =5.849,P=0.017) and serum miR-320b (t =4.331,P=0.039) were significantly lower than those in the plaque-free group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that referring to the highest quartile group, the low serum miR-320b level might be an independent risk factor for carotid atherosclerosis (the first quartile group:odds ratio 2.701,95% confidence interval 1.154-6.321,P =0.022;the second quartile group:odds ratio 2.521,95% confidence interval 1.249-5.091,P =0.010;and the third quartile group:odds ratio 1.849,95% confidence interval 1.041-3.283,P=0.036).Conclusion The low serum miR-320b level might be an independent risk factor for carotid atherosclerosis in patients with acute ischemic stroke.

Th22,a new subset of helper T cells, which is char-acterized by the secretion of interleukin-22(IL-22),could infil-trate to the epidermis in individuals with inflammatory skin disor-ders.This article introduces the action of Th22 and IL-22 in in-flammatory skin diseases, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, aiming at re-vealing the role of Th22 and IL-22 in these diseases, which would not only provide some novel targets of drugs for inflamma-tory skin diseases, but also promote the researches on the pre-vention and treatment of these diseases.
