Objective:To understand the burden of cancer disease in Hebei Province in recent years and to analyze the change trend of cancer in Hebei Province from 2011 to 2020.Methods:The incidence and death data of cancer were collected from 38 cancer registries in Hebei Province during 2011-2020. The incidence (mortality) rate, standardized incidence (mortality) rate and composition ratio of each region, sex, and age were calculated respectively, and the incidence and death of major cancers in our province were summarized. The age-standardized morbidity (mortality) rates of China and the world population were calculated using the 2000 China standard population composition and Segi's world population composition respectively. Trend analysis of morbidity and mortality was performed and average annual percentage change (AAPC) was calculated. Results:In 2020, the crude cancer incidence rate and the age-standardized morbidity rate of China was 229.36/100 000 and 147.06/100 000, respectively. An estimated 171 600 new cases were reported in the province. The crude cancer mortality rate and the age-standardized mortality rates of China was 146.38/100 000 and 85.33/100 000. The estimated number of deaths in the province is 108 900. In the cancer registration areas of Hebei Province, 84% of all cancer patients occurred in people 50 years of age and older. From 2011 to 2020, the incidence and mortality of cancer in Hebei Province showed a decreasing trend. The AAPC was -4.2% ( P<0.001), which decreased from 206.61/100 000 in 2011 to 143.74/100 000 in 2020. The world standard mortality rate of cancer was 147.69/100 000 in 2011, and decreased to 84.79/100 000 in 2020. The AAPC was -5.7% ( P<0.001). The world-standard incidence and mortality of lung cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer and colorectal cancer decreased from 2011 to 2020. The AAPCs of the world-standard incidence were -4.0%, -12.3%, -9.4%, -6.0% and -1.6%, respectively. The AAPCs of the world-standard mortality were -4.9%, -11.3%, -8.5%, -5.7% and -3.3%, which were statistically significant. The incidence of thyroid cancer increased rapidly, the AAPC of which was 9.7% ( P<0.001). The rates of female breast cancer and male prostate cancer in Hebei Province were stable. Conclusions:The world-standard incidence and mortality of cancer in Hebei Provincial cancer registries areas show a downward trend from 2011 to 2020. However, the cancer incidence and mortality in Hebei Province are still at high levels. It's necessary to strengthen cancer prevention and control in Hebei Province, improve the awareness of cancer prevention and control in the whole society, and promote the concept of tertiary cancer prevention to reduce the cancer burden in Hebei Province.

In order to achieve high-efficiency expression of the porcine circovirus type 3 Cap protein in recombinant Escherichia coli, dissolved oxygen(DO)control strategy, oxygen uptake rate(OUR)control strategy and combined control strategy of DO and OUR were selected to investi-gate their effect on the expression of target protein in a 10 L fermenter. The high-density fermenta-tion process of recombinant E.coli was determined by investigating the best control range of OUR.The recombinant protein was identified by SDS-PAGE and Western blot, and the immunoge-nicity of the protein was evaluated by the animal experiment. The results showed that when the DO control strategy and OUR control strategy were used, the expression of target protein was low.Acetic acid was the key factor affecting the expression of target protein. When acetic acid concen-tration reached 1.02 g/L,Cap protein yield was reduced by 55.8%.In order to reduce the produc-tion of acetic acid,DO was selected to control oxygen supply before feeding, and OUR was selected as the parameter to control oxygen supply after feeding. When OUR value was maintained at 140-160 mmol/(L·h),the Cap protein yield was up to 650 mg/L.Western blot analysis confirmed that PCV3 Cap possessed antigenicity and specificity.Animal experiment showed that the antibody pos-itive rate was 100%after the second immunization, indicating that the target protein had better immunogenicity. The high density fermentation controlled by the combined control strategy of DO and OUR could achieve efficiently soluble expression of PCV3 Cap in the fermenter, which laid the foundation for the vaccine development.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the corresponding influence on pulmonary embolism incidence between immobilization and exercise in different stage of thrombus after acute deep vein thrombosis in rabbits.
METHODSForty-eight New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into three groups depending on the different organized stage of thrombus: the early, medium and later stage group. Each group was subdivided into two sub groups: the immobile and mobile subgroup. Rabbit modeling of deep vein thrombosis was made by ligating the right femoral vein. Among the early-stage group, rabbits of the immobile subgroup were fixed for 3 days, while that of the mobile subgroup were free to move for 3 days, then each was euthanized to extract the lungs for pathological examination. Among the medium-stage group, each of the immobile subgroup were fixed for 7 days, while the mobile subgroup ones were fixed for 3 days, then released free-moving for 4 days following the pathological extraction. Among the later-stage group, animals in the immobile subgroup were fixed for 14 days comparing the mobile subgroup fixed for 7 days and next free-moving for 7 days, then each was euthanized.
RESULTSAmong the early-stage group, pulmonary embolism incidence (PEI) of the immobile and mobile subgroup was 4/8 vs.3/8, the pulmonary lobe embolism incidence (PLEI) was 17.5% (7/40) vs. 15.0% (6/40). Among the medium-stage group, PEI of the immobile and mobile subgroup was 3/8 vs. 2/8, PLEI was 37.5% (7/40) vs. 25.0% (10/40). Among the later-stage group, PEI of the immobile and mobile subgroup was 3/8 vs. 3/8, PLEI was 12.5% (5/40) vs. 15.0% (6/40). There was no statistical difference between immobilization subgroup and mobilization subgroup among different stage group.
CONCLUSIONOn the premise of given anticoagulation treatment, early ambulation do not significantly increase pulmonary embolism incidence after acute deep vein thrombosis of lower extremity in rabbits.

Objective To investigate the effects of acarbose versus fenofibrate on insulin secretion and insulin resistance in the subjects with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and hypertriglyceridemia. Methods Eighty subjects were allocated to acarbose group (28 cases),fenofibrate group (30 cases),and control group (22 cases) without intervention for 3 months, and also divided into elderly (46 cases) and younger groups (34 cases). Fasting blood samples were collected for measuring fasting plasma glucose and lipid.Oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) were carried out with measurement of plasma insulin and glucose before ad after treatment.Early insulin secretion indexes(△I30/△G30),insulin secretion indexes (HOMA -β) and insulin resistance indexes (HOMA-IR)were calculated. Results After 3-months of treatment, the lipid profile was evidently improved in fenofibrate group. Levels of triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC) were significantly reduced ( both P < 0.01 ),△I30/△G30 was significantly increased (P < 0.05) and HOMA-IR was decreased (P<<0.01).In acarbose group, levels of fasting plasma glucose (FPG),2hours postprandial plasma glucose (2 hPG) and HOMA-IR were reduced (all P<0.01),△I30/△G30 and HOMA-β were enhanced (P<0.01 or P<0.05).No change of above indicators was found in the control group.Compared with fenofibrate group, acarbose group had higher △ I30/△G30 (P< 0.05),HOMA-β (P< 0.01 ) and lower HOMA-IR ( P < 0.01 ).The improvement of △△I30/△G30 was correlated with the decreasing of plasma FPG,2 hPG and TG(r=0.5812,0.6327,0.3872,P<0.01),while HOMA-1R was related with the decreasing of plasma 2 hPG,TG and TC(r=0.8126,0.4671,0.2895,P< 0.01). HOMA-IR,△I30/△G30 and HOMA-β were lower (P<0.01) and acarbose improved insulin resistance better (P<0.05) in the elderly than in the younger with type 2 diabetes. Conclusions Pancreatic β-cell function declines gradually with aging, acarbose may have advantage over fenofibrate in improving early insulin secretion and resistance which was more relieved by diminishing glucotoxity in comparison with lipotoxity.

Objective To observe the relationship between degree of venous injury and the indwelling time by injection of chemotherapy drugs with intravenous catheter system. Methods Totally 43 New Zealand rabbits were selected as the study sample. Among them, three rabbits were chosen by lot as a blank control, the others were evenly divided into two groups randomly. The veins at the edges of the two ears were taken out as the tested blood vessels for the infusion with intravenous catheter system. The two groups were injected respectively with physiological saline and chemotherapy drugs once daily, and then blocked with heparin salt water. After intraperitoneal anaesthesia, pathological sections were prepared by taking live samples from the ear vein where intravenous catheter system puncturing on the 2nd, 4th, 6th,8th and 10th day of transfusion. And inflammation and thrombosis in the vein had been observed under the light microscope. Results In the same indwelling time, the inflammatory response of the two groups was compared: no difference on the 2nd day; difference was seen on the 4th、6th and 8th day; but again no difference on the 10th day. Thrombosis compared: no difference on the 2nd, 4th day, but difference was seen on the 6th, 8th and 10th day. Conclusions Chemotherapy drugs has a strong irritant on blood vessels. The indwelling time should not be too long, generally advisable 2 days, even if no abnormal response is observed locally by the naked eye.
