Objective:To explore the mediating effect of e-health literacy on disease control and lifestyle of type 2 diabetes patients.Methods:From June 2022 to June 2023, 337 patients with type 2 diabetes who visited Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University were selected by convenience sampling. The patients were investigated with General Information Questionnaire, e-Health Literacy Scale (eHEALS), Control Status Scale for Diabetes (CSSD), and Health Promoting Lifestyle ProfileⅡ (HPLP-Ⅱ). Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between e-health literacy, disease control, and lifestyle. AMOS 21.0 software was used to establish a structural equation model and perform mediating effect validation. A total of 337 questionnaires were distributed, and 315 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective responding rate of 93.47% (315/337) .Results:Among 315 patients with type 2 diabetes, the score of eHEALS was (20.13±5.28), among which the scores of application ability, judgment ability and decision-making ability were (14.33±4.16), (4.06±1.34) and (1.74±0.50) respectively. The CSSD score was (77.38±9.24), and the HPLP-Ⅱ score was (159.37±21.03). The eHEALS score, application ability score, judgment ability score, and decision-making ability score were all positively correlated with CSSD score and HPLP-Ⅱ score ( P<0.05), and the CSSD score was positively correlated with the HPLP-Ⅱ score ( P<0.05). Lifestyle had a direct effect on disease control (β=0.363, P<0.01), e-health literacy had a direct effect on disease control (β=0.440, P<0.01), e-health literacy partially mediated the relationship between lifestyle and disease control (β=0.322, P<0.01), and the mediating effect accounted for 47.01% of the total effect. Conclusions:The e-health literacy of patients with type 2 diabetes is low as a whole, especially the judgment ability and decision-making ability. The e-health literacy plays a partial mediating role between disease control and lifestyle.

OBJECTIVE: This study investigated the association between household chemical use and respiratory disease (RD) in older Chinese adults. METHODS: The data were from the 2018 China Longitudinal Health and Longevity Survey (CLHLS) database, which included 12,866 participants aged ≥ 65 years. The prevalence of RD was based on self-reported medical history, and patients were divided into diseased and non-diseased groups. The frequency of household chemical usage was divided into four categories, and a total score for eight household chemical usage categories was constructed. Binary logistic regression was used to determine the relationship between the frequency of household chemical use and RD, and a restricted cubic spline was used to determine the dose-response association. RESULT: After adjusting for all covariates, regular use of repellents [odds ratios ( OR) = 1.28, 95% CI 1.06-1.55] and oil removers ( OR = 1.28, 95% CI 1.03-1.58) were associated with RD. There was a dose-response association between the total score of household chemicals usage and RD risk ( P non-linearity > 0.05, P for trend < 0.01). Using patients with the total score below 9 as a reference, the OR for patients with the total score ranging from 25 to 32 is 2.33 (95% CI 1.25-4.09). CONCLUSION Regular use of repellents and oil removers increased the risk of RD, and the dose-dependent relationship was also observed.

Objective:To investigate the symptom groups and influencing factors in patients with tracheotomy after operation for head and neck cancer and to provide reference for developing accurate symptom management strategies.Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 289 patients with head and neck cancer who received treatment or reexamination in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from April 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. The patients were assessed with the general information questionnaire and M.D. Anderson Symptom Inventory-Head and Neck (MDASI-HN). Exploratory factor analysis was used to analyze the symptom groups of patients with head and neck cancer after tracheotomy, and single factor analysis and decision tree were used to construct the prediction model of each symptom group. A total of 289 questionnaires were sent out in this study, 18 invalid questionnaires were excluded, and 271 valid questionnaires were finally recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 93.8%.Results:Three symptom groups were extracted, including sleep-body symptom group, head and neck cancer radiotherapy-psychological symptom group and head and neck cancer specific symptom group. The decision tree prediction model showed that the core factors affecting the symptoms of patients with tracheotomy after head and neck cancer were disease stage and operation mode, followed by preoperative emotional problems, marital status and main caregivers. The overall correct percentages of the model were 61.6%, 67.2% and 62.0%, respectively, and the correct prediction rates of the non-occurrence candidate symptom groups were respectively 96.1%, 86.4% and 62.4%, indicating a good fitting effect.Conclusions:There are multiple symptom groups in patients with tracheotomy after head and neck cancer surgery. The disease stage and surgical method are the core influencing factors of each symptom group. The decision tree model is helpful for medical staff to effectively identify people with high incidence of various symptom groups and formulate precise intervention plans.

Objective:To explore the effects of Nd 2O 3 exposure to rare earth particles on the secretion of sex hormones, cytochrome P450 family member 11A1 (CYP11A1) , spermatogenesis markers promyelocytic leukemia zinc finger protein (PLZF) and retinoic acid stimulating gene 8 (STRA8) protein in C57 BL/6J male mice. Methods:In March 2021, Forty-eight male C57 BL/6J mice aged 6-8 weeks divided into control group and Nd 2O 3 exposure low, medium and high dose groups (exposing doses of 62.5, 125.0, 250.0 mg/ml Nd 2O 3) , 12 per group. The mice in the Nd 2O 3 groups were perfused with different doses of Nd 2O 3 suspension by a one-time non-exposing tracheal instillation method, and the control group was perfused with an equal volume of normal saline, with a volume of 0.1 ml, to establish a mouse reproductive function injury model. After 28 days of exposure, the mice's body weight, testes and epididymis were weighed, and the organ coefficients were calculated; the two epididymis were taken to make a sperm suspension to determine the sperm count, survival rate, and deformity rate; inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) method was used to detect the content of Nd in mouse testis tissue; HE staining was used to detect testicular tissue pathological changes and quantitative analysis; enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method was used to detect serum luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and testosterone (T) content; western blot was used to detect the protein levels of CYP11A1, PLZF and STRA8 in testicular tissues. Results:Compared with the control group, with the increase of the exposure dose, the Nd content in the testis of the mice showed an increasing trend, the sperm survival rate and LH showed a decreasing trend, and the sperm deformity rate showed an increasing trend ( P<0.05) ; Pathological showed that the number of sperm in the seminiferous tubules of the testicular tissue in the Nd 2O 3 medium and high dose groups was significantly reduced, and the germinal epithelial disintegration, intraepithelial vacuolization, and exfoliation of spermatogenic cells and supporting cells occurred; The height of germinal epithelium was significantly reduced, and the percentage of damaged seminiferous tubules showed an increasing trend ( P<0.05) ; FSH and T levels in serum in the middle and high dose groups of Nd 2O 3, and CYP11A1, PLZF and STRA8 proteins in testicular tissues showed a downward trend with increasing dose ( P<0.05) . Conclusion:The rare earth particulate Nd 2O 3 may interfere with the expression of CYP11A1, PLZF and STRA8 protein, thereby causing the disorder of sex hormone secretion in the body, the maintenance of spermatogonia and the obstruction of the process of meiosis, causing reproductive function damage.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between plasma levels of complements before treatment and the clinicopathological feathers and prognoses of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients treated with Rituximab (R)-CHOP or R-CHOP-like therapy.Methods:The clinicopathological data of 105 DLBCL patients treated in cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from 2010 to 2016 were collected. The plasma samples from 105 DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP or R-CHOP-like therapy and 80 healthy controls were used to detect 34 complement levels before treatment by utilizing antibody microarray. The relationship between plasma levels of complements and the clinicopathological feathers and prognosis of DLBCL patients were analyzed.Results:The signal values of C1QA and CR1L in patients with international prognostic index (IPI) scores of 3-5 were 1 261.43±138.9 and 2 214.69±98.58, respectively, higher than 950.79±80.19 and 984.67±121.79 in patients with IPI scores of 0~2 (both P<0.05). The levels of C1QA and CR1L in the non-complete response (CR) group were 1 165.43±98.56 and 2 263.13±145.63, respectively, higher than 914.70±100.77 and 1 821.34±84.68 in the CR group (both P<0.05). Cox regression analysis showed that elevated C1QA signal value was associated with poor progression-free survival (PFS) and poor overall survival (OS) (PFS: HR=2.063, 95% CI: 1.220-3.489, P=0.007; OS: HR=2.23, 95% CI: 1.036~4.798, P=0.040). After IPI correction by Cox multivariate model, the elevated C1QA signal value was still correlated with poor PFS ( HR=1.765, 95% CI 1.034~3.013, P=0.037). Conclusions:The baseline plasma levels of C1QA and CR1L are correlated with IPI scores and therapeutic effects of DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP. The baseline plasma level of C1QA has a certain predictive value for the prognostic evaluation of DLBCL.

[Abstract] Objective: To investigate the short-term clinical efficacy and safety of intraperitoneal perfusion of natural killer (NK) cells in the treatment of ovarian cancer with ascites. Methods: The clinical data of 15 ovarian cancer patients with ascites effusion, who received NK cell perfusion in the Qinhuai Medical District of the General Hospital of Eastern Theater Command from November 2016 to January 2019, were analyzed. The peripheral blood was collected to isolate the peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and to further obtain the NK cells after culture. NK cell suspension was intraperitoneally perfused into the abdominal cavity (no less than 2×109 cells/ time). The volume of peritoneal effusion, the level of serum tumor marker CA-125, the level of serum cytokines IL-2, INF-γ and TNF-α as well as the changes in peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets were detected before and after the treatment; Moreover, the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were observed. Results: The effective rate of intraperitoneal perfusion of NK cells was 66.7%, and there were no obvious treatment-related adverse reactions. Compared with before treatment, the serum tumor marker CA-125 level significantly decreased after treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of IL-15, IFN-γ and TNF-α increased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01), while there was no significant changes in peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets (all P>0.05). Conclusion: Intraperitoneal infusion of NK cells in the treatment of ovarian cancer associated peritoneal effusion has a good short-term clinical efficacy with little adverse reactions, which is a promising method for the treatment of cancerous peritoneal effusion.

Inflammation promotes the progress of lymphoma, and the growth and proliferation of lymphoma cells also depend on the inflammatory tumor microenvironment. Inflammatory response plays an important role in the development and treatment of lymphoma. Inflammatory cytokines are main types of inflammatory mediators, their expression levels reflect the inflammatory response state of the body, and have potential to be biomarkers and molecular targets of lymphoma.
