OBJECTIVE: To explore the advantages and effectiveness of the independently developed intelligent orthopedic robot-assisted distal locking of femoral intramedullary nails. METHODS: Thirty-two adult cadaveric femur specimens were randomly divided into two groups, with 16 specimens in each group. The experimental group used the intelligent orthopedic robot to assist in the distal locking of femoral intramedullary nail holes, while the control group used the traditional method of manual locking under X-ray fluoroscopy. The locking time, fluoroscopy times, and the success rate of first locking were recorded and compared between the two groups. RESULTS: The locking time of the experimental group was (273.94±38.67) seconds, which was shorter than that of the control group [(378.38±152.72) seconds], and number of fluoroscopies was (4.56±0.81) times, which was less than that of the control group [(8.00±3.98) times]. The differences were significant [ MD=73.054 (-37.187, 85.813), P=0.049; MD=1.969 (-1.437, 2.563), P=0.002]. The first locking success rate of the experimental group was 100% (16/16), which was significantly higher than that of the control group (68.75%, 11/16) ( P=0.043). CONCLUSION The efficiency of distal locking of femoral intramedullary nails assisted by the intelligent orthopedic robot is significantly higher than that of the traditional manual locking method under fluoroscopy, as it can markedly reduce the time required for distal locking of femoral intramedullary nails, decrease intraoperative radiation exposure, and increase the success rate of locking.

Mechanical thrombectomy,which improves the successful vascular recanalization rate and neurological functional prognosis in patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS)caused by anterior circulation large vessel occlusion,has become one of the primary therapeutic strategies.Among the pharmacologic adjuvant therapies for mechanical thrombectomy,tirofiban(a platelet glycoprotein Ⅱ b/Ⅲ a receptor antagonist)has attracted significant attention due to its antithrombotic mechanism.This article summarized the research progress of tirofiban in the mechanical thrombectomy treatment of AIS patients from the perspectives of pharmacological mechanisms,administration timing,selection of eligible populations,and dosage regimens.It also analyzed the clinical application value and existing controversies of tirofiban,aiming to provide a scientific basis for optimizing the AIS treatment system.

OBJECTIVE To explore the optimal parameters of simmered Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and the correlation between the chroma values and the intrinsic composition of simmered Rhei Radix et Rhizoma decoction pieces powder.METHODS The single-factor-response surface method was used to investigate the simmering temperature,simmering time,paper dosage and plant ash dos-age,the response surface experiment was carried out on the basis of the single factor experiment,the appearance traits,total anthraqui-nones,free anthraquinones,leachables,sennoside A and B contents were taken as indicators,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was used to give weights to each index,and the process was optimized.The chroma values of raw and simmered products were deter-mined by electronic eye,the correlation and regression analysis were carried out by SPSS22.0 software,and the chroma-component re-gression equation was constructed.RESULTS The optimal process of simmering Rhei Radix et Rhizoma was 140 ℃,5 times of plant ash,2 layers of wet paper wrapped and being simmered for 2.5 h.CONCLUSION The simmering process of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma optimized by AHP combined with response surface method is reasonable and feasible,the color of decoction pieces has a significant correlation with the component content,and the regression equation constructed is reliable,which can predict the intrinsic component content of decoction pieces through chroma values.

Intracranial aneurysm is a prevalent cerebrovascular disease,and its rupture can lead to subarachnoid hemorrhage,which is associated with high mortality and morbidity rates.Current treatment modalities for ruptured intracranial aneurysms primarily consist of surgical clipping and endovascular coiling.In recent years,the development and widespread clinical adoption of flow diverter have made these devices a prominent therapeutic option in the treatment of ruptured intracranial aneurysms.This article provides a comprehensive review of the mechanism of flow diverter,the current status of flow diverter implantation in the treatment of ruptured aneurysms,strategies for antiplatelet medication,and innovations in flow diverter materials,aiming to offer a refence for clinical decision-making in the management of ruptured aneurysms.

From June 16 to 30, 2023, men who have sex with men (MSM) who had visited Voluntary Counseling Testing (VCT) clinics in the Luohu, Futian and Nanshan districts of Shenzhen were included in this study to analyze their awareness of Mpox and the influencing factors. The mean age of the 262 MSM was (34.78±8.94) years, with the majority being unmarried (75.2%) and 79.0% confirmed to be infected with HIV. The awareness rates for five primary indicators, current status of Mpox, pathogen and source of infection, mode of transmission, population susceptibility, clinical manifestations and treatment were 68.4%, 84.7%, 60.3%, 87.8%, and 52.5%, respectively. The awareness rates for five secondary indicators, earliest transmission location (44.7%), main mode of transmission (54.2%), role of masks (46.9%), drug accessibility (46.6%), and self-limiting nature (38.2%) were all below 60%. The MSM population in Shenzhen perceived their likelihood of being infected (2.76±1.32) and discriminated against (3.87±1.26) as relatively low. The logistic analysis showed that the high school or vocational school education ( OR:3.094, 95 %CI:1.180-9.299), college or above education ( OR:5.360, 95% CI:2.159-15.501), and higher scores on questions affecting learning or work ( OR:2.196, 95% CI:1.409-3.599) were promoting factors for Mpox awareness, while higher scores on questions concerning the possibility of Mpox mortality ( OR:0.591, 95% CI:0.432-0.791) was the hindering factor for Mpox awareness.

Objective To evaluate the changes of hypoxic conditions in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients before and after radiotherapy and assess the value of 18F-fluoromisonidzaole (FMISO)PET/CT for radiotherapy efficacy evaluation.Methods A total of 21 NSCLC patients (15 males,6 females,age 30-74 years) from January 2014 to October 2016 were prospectively enrolled.18F-FMISO PET/CT was performed before and after radiotherapy,and all patients underwent 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)PET/CT before radiotherapy.Routine chest CT was performed at the 3rd and 6th month after radiotherapy.The maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) of tumor and muscle,tumor volume and hypoxic volume (HV) were measured.Tumor-to-muscle (T/M) value of 18F-FMISO was calculated,and T/M ≥ 1.3 was considered as the hypoxia cut-off value.Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation,paired t test,signed rank sum test and Wilcoxon rank sum test.Results Totally 81.0％(17/21) of NSCLC patients had hypoxia.There were significant positive correlations between 18F-FMISO T/M value and tumor volume or 18F-FDG SUVmax(r:0.72,0.60,both P＜0.05).The T/M value after radiotherapy was significantly lower than that before radiotherapy (1.42± 1.12 vs 2.08±0.71;t =3.62,P＜0.05),and median HV was also significantly lower than that before radiotherapy (6.53 vs 12.41 cm3;z =-3.83,P＜0.05).The median T/M values of effective group (n =14) and ineffective group (n =7) before radiotherapy were significantly different (2.14 vs 2.87;z=-2.27,P＜0.05),and the median HV of 2 groups before radiotherapy was also significantly different (6.43 vs 10.20 cm3;z=-2.14,P＜0.05).Conclusions Most NSCLC patients have hypoxia before radiotherapy.The larger tumor volume,the higher degree of hypoxia.Radiotherapy can alleviate the hypoxia of tumors.18F-FMISO PET/CT imaging before radiotherapy can be used to predict the efficacy of patients with NSCLC.
