This narrative review examines the challenges, strategies, and future directions in the development of young teachers within the pathophysiology departments of Chinese medical colleges. A thorough review of 49 studies published between 2013 and 2024 was carried out using PubMed, Web of Science, and various Chinese databases. The primary challenges identified include teaching innovation (cited in 84.2% of the studies), research pressure (91.2%), disciplinary characteristics (87.7%), and career development (80.7%). Medical schools have responded by enhancing training systems (94.7%), innovating teaching methods (93.0%), and bolstering research support (96.5%). Looking ahead, trends are shifting toward the application of new technologies, interdisciplinary integration, and international collaboration. The focus on cultivating young teachers is increasingly geared towards personalization and diversification, which are essential for advancing education in pathophysiology. High-quality young teachers are pivotal in raising teaching standards, fostering research innovation, and facilitating interdisciplinary exchanges. Based on these insights, we recommend several practical measures to enhance the quality of pathophysiology education in China. These include establishing comprehensive training programs that integrate teaching innovation and research skills; developing structured mentorship systems with clear pathways for career advancement; creating platforms that support technology-enhanced teaching and international collaboration; and implementing systematic evaluation mechanisms to assess teaching effectiveness. These targeted interventions will require a coordinated effort from department heads, educational institutions, and policymakers to ensure a sustained improvement in the quality of pathophysiology education.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of electrocardiogram parameters combined with serum microRNA(miR)-322 and miR-568 levels in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)complicated with ventricular arrhythmias(VA).Methods A total of 230 CHF patients admitted to Zhangjiakou First Hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects, including 120 VA patients(VA group)and 110 non VA patients(non VA group),and 110 patients who underwent health examinations in Zhangjiakou First Hospital during the same period as the control group.Compared three sets of general information, electrocardiogram parameters, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),cardiac function grade and serum miR-322 and miR-568 levels.Logistic regression analyzed the influencing factors of VA in CHF patients.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analyzed electrocardiogram parameters combined with serum miR-322 and miR-568 for the diagnostic value of VA in CHF patients. Results The three groups showed statistically obvious differences in classification of nyha heart function(NYHA)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(F=6.033,691.853,all P<0.05).The electrocardiogram parameters of CHF patients, including QT interval dispersion(QTD),QRS wave duration and corrected QT systolic time(QTc)were obviously higher than those in the control group(t=16.539,17.709,14.414),and the VA group were obviously higher than the non VA group(q=10.984,7.794,10.174),and the differences were statistically significan(all P<0.05).The serum levels of miR-322 and miR-568 were obviously lower than those in the control group(t=23.719,17.359).and the VA group were obviously lower than the non VA group(q=10.345,9.941),the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that NYHA grading,LVEF,QTD,QRS,wave duration,QTc,serum miR-322 and miR-568 levels were all influencing factors in the complication of VA in patients with CHF(Wald χ2=4.267~9.839,all P<0.05).The combination of electrocardiogram parameters and serum miR-322,miR-568 was better diagnosing CHF patients with concurrent VA that QTD,QRS duration,QTc and serum miR-332,miR-568 were measured separately. Conclusion Serum levels of miR-322 and miR-568 are obviously reduced, and the combination of electrocardiogram parameters with serum miR-322 and miR-568 has high diagnostic value for CHF patients with VA.

ObjectiveTo perform a predictive analysis of the quality marker(Q-Marker) for the anticoagulant activity of Kunning granules. MethodThe chemical components of Kunning granules were analyzed by ultra high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight tandem mass spectrometry(UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 column(2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.8 μm) with the mobile phase of acetonitrile(A)-25 mmol∙L-1 ammonium acetate aqueous solution(B) for gradient elution (0-5 min, 5%-22%A; 5-10 min, 22%-30%A; 10-15 min, 30%-95%A; 15-20 min, 95%-5%A; 20-30 min, 5%A), flow rate of 0.2 mL∙min-1, column temperature at 30 ℃, injection volume of 1 μL, electrospray ionization(ESI), positive and negative ion detection modes. Interaction analysis between the targets of chemical components and the targets of abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB) was performed by network pharmacology, and the key components were screened through network topology analysis. The fingerprints of 10 batches of Kunning granules were established by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), the anticoagulant activity of the granules was determined by blood coagulation method and fibrinogen plate method, and the spectrum-effective relationship was established. The components co-occurring in the topological analysis and spectrum-effective relationship were selected as Q-Markers, and their anticoagulant activities were verified and confirmed. ResultA total of 475 chemical components were identified from Kunning Granule, of which 22 key components such as salvianolic acid B, paeoniflorin, naringin and neohesperidin, were the potential material basis for the treatment of AUB. The spectrum-effective analysis showed that peaks 7(paeoniflorin), 9(naringin), 10(neohesperidin) and 11(salvianolic acid B) were the optimal principal components, and in vitro activity test showed that these four components could better characterize their anticoagulant activity. ConclusionSalvianolic acid B, paeoniflorin, neohesperidin and naringin may be Q-Markers for the anticoagulant activity of Kunning granules.

Anti-seizure medications (ASMs) are the main therapy for epilepsy. There are many kinds of ASMs with complex mechanism of action, so it is difficult for pharmacists to examine prescriptions. This paper put forward some suggestions on the indications, dosage forms/routes of administration, appropriateness of usage and dosage, combined medication and drug interaction, long-term prescription review, individual differences in pathophysiology of children, and drug selection when complicated with common epilepsy, for the reference of doctors and pharmacists.
