1.Self-efficacy current status in peritoneal dialysis patients and influencing factors analysis

Objective To investigate the level of self-efficacy in peritoneal dialysis patients,and to ana-lyze its influencing factors.Methods The convenience sampling method was adopted.A total of 232 patients with peritoneal dialysis in the First Medical Center of PLA General Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects to conduct the status quo survey of chronic disease self-efficacy scale,social support scale,medical coping style questionnaire and patient positivity scale,and the results were analyzed.Re-sults The self-efficacy score of the patients with peritoneal dialysis(6.67±2.14)points,education level,fam-ily monthly income,working status,submission,social support,objective support,subjective support and pa-tient positivity were the main factors affecting the level of self-efficacy(P<0.05),explaining 64.4%of the variation amount.Self-efficacy was positively correlated with social support,facing and patient positivity(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with avoidance and submission(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-efficacy of peritoneal dialysis patients is generally at a low to medium level.Medical staff should pay more attention to it and improve it.
2.Screening and preliminary study of PIK3CG as a potential biomarker in polycystic ovary syndrome

Objective To explore the genes related to the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)through bioinformatics methods and verify them in ovarian granulosa cells,providing a reference for screening potential molecular markers of PCOS.Methods The GSE34526 and GSE137684 datasets were re-spectively used as the training set and validation set.The inflammation-related genes potentially associated with the onset of PCOS were explored through differential expression analysis and weighted gene co-expres-sion network analysis.Subsequently,their predictive value was verified through the receiver operating charac-teristic(ROC)curve.Thirty patients with PCOS(the PCOS group)and 27 patients without PCOS(the con-trol group)who were treated in Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities were se-lected as the research objects.RT-qPCR was applied to verify the expression level of core genes in granular cells.Spearman correlation and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the correlation between the ex-pression level of core genes and various clinical parameters,and the ROC curve was used to analyze the diag-nostic efficacy of the expression level of core genes for PCOS.Finally,the protein expression level of core genes was verified on animal models.Results A total of 1 888 differentially expressed genes,89 module-relat-ed genes and 366 inflammatory response-related genes were identified.The core gene phosphatidylinositol-4,5-diphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit γ(PIK3CG)was ultimately obtained by taking co-expressed genes and verifying with the ROC curve.RT-qPCR results showed that the expression level of PIK3CG in granulosa cells of the PCOS group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the expression level of PIK3CG was positively correlated with BMI,testosterone(T),fasting in-sulin(FINS),and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR,P<0.05).Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that FINS,HOMA-IR and BMI were increased with the increasing of PIK3CG expression level(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve for diagnosing PCOS patients with PIK3CG mRNA expression levels in granulosa cells was 0.659 3.The immunohistochemical results showed that the ex-pression of PIK3CG protein in the ovarian tissues of mice in the PCOS group was significantly increased.Con-clusion PIK3CG may be potentially associated with the pathogenesis of PCOS.
3.Screening and efficacy evaluation of cross-immunological protective antigen Pm-CQ2-5175 of bovine Pasteurella multocida

Pasteurella multocida(Pm)type A is an important pathogen responsible for respiratory diseases,such as bovine pneumonia,which seriously restricts the development of cattle industry in China.Currently,the prevention of Pm infection-related diseases primarily relies on vaccination in production.However,the diverse Pm serotypes result in inadequate cross-immunological protection from vaccines.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop vaccines with cross-protection for the prevention and control of Pm infectious diseases.The previous studies conducted by our team have demonstrated that PmCQ2△cra exhibits a strong immune protective effect against Pm type A(PmA),Pm type B(PmB),and Pm type F(PmF).Transcriptomic sequencing results suggest that the cross-immunoprotective effect of PmCQ2△cra may be attributed to high expression levels of bacterial surface protective antigens.Consequently,four putative immune protective antigens,namely PmCQ2-5175,PmCQ2-6290,PmCQ2-0275 and PmCQ2-2640,were screened through bioin-formatics analysis in this study.Subunit vaccines formulated with these potential antigenic proteins exhibited protective efficacy of 62.5%,25%,12.5%and 10%against PmA-infected mice,respectively.Importantly,PmCQ2-5175,one of the most protective single-component antigen vac-cines,demonstrating a 75%cross-protection against PmB infection in mice.Furthermore,the pro-tective efficacy of the PmCQ2-5175 protein screened in this study was superior to that of the previ-ously reported Pm antigen protein plpE.Moreover,the fusion expression protein PmCQ2-5175-PLPE exhibited better protective effects against PmA compared to a single protein.The findings of this study will establish a theoretical foundation for the advancement of Pm subunit vaccines with broad-spectrum immune protection.
4.Mediating effect of personal mastery on the relationship between body image and fear of falling in postoperative cardiac surgery patients

Objective:To investigate the current status of fear of falling in postoperative cardiac surgery patients, and to analyze its influencing factors and interrelationships.Methods:A convenience sample of 246 postoperative cardiac surgery patients hospitalized in the Department of Cardiac Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, from December 2023 to December 2024 was surveyed. The Body Image Scale, the Personal Mastery Scale, the Fear of Falling Questionnaire-Revised, and a self-designed demographic and clinical questionnaire were used for data collection. Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationships among body image, personal mastery, and fear of falling. PROCESS Model 4 was applied to test the mediating role of personal mastery between body image and fear of falling, with bootstrapping for verification.Results:A total of 246 questionnaires were distributed, and 236 valid responses were obtained (valid response rate: 95.93%) . The body image score was (14.02±6.36) , personal mastery score was (20.44±4.16) , and fear of falling score was (38.28±10.83) . Body image was positively correlated with fear of falling ( r=0.324, P<0.01) , while personal mastery was negatively correlated with fear of falling ( r=-0.552, P<0.01) . After controlling for variables with statistically significant differences in univariate analysis (including sex, age, education level, body mass index, history of syncope, pain level, and self-rated preoperative exercise capacity) , PROCESS analysis showed that body image had a direct positive effect on fear of falling ( β=0.288, P<0.05) , and also indirectly affected fear of falling through personal mastery, with the indirect effect accounting for 49.5% of the total effect (0.237/0.525) . Conclusions:Postoperative cardiac surgery patients require improvement in body image, personal mastery, and fear of falling. Understanding how body image influences fear of falling through personal mastery not only enriches theoretical frameworks but also provides guidance for psychological interventions in clinical practice, thereby meeting patients' psychological support needs during rehabilitation.

7.Research progress of subarachnoid hemorrhage associated with hematologic malignancies

In recent years,there have been active studies on intracranial hemorrhage associated with hematological malignancies,but the understanding of subarachnoid hemorrhage associated with hematological malignancies is still insufficient.We retrieve from PubMed and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(NCKI),and describes the understanding of hematological malignant tumor related subarachnoid hemorrhage.This article summarizes the clinical characteristics and possible pathogenesis of subarachnoid hemorrhage associated with hematological malignancies.At present,there is a lack of effective prevention and treatment measures for hematological malignant tumor-related subarachnoid hemorrhage,which mainly focuses on the active treatment of the primary disease while saving time for the treatment of complications,and the mortality is high.

Bronchiectasis has the characteristics of long course,gradual aggravation,easy recurrence and difficult to treat.The characteristics are similar to those arouse by incubative pathogenic factors.Based on the theory of incubative pathogenic factors,this disease is often related to the incubative pathogenic factors in the body's areas with deficient healthy qi,which occur at regular times.The etiology can be external,congenital,or internal.Treatment should focus on different characteristics of incubative pathogenic factors.Attention should be paid to clearing and dispersing in external pathogenic factors,while attention should be paid to supporting and promoting healthy qi in congenital pathogenic factors,and do not forget to remove internal pathogenic factors.
9.Study on microstructural changes in white matter fibers of patients with post stroke depression based on automated fiber quantification

Objective To explore the microstructural changes in white matter(WM)fibers of patients with post-stroke depression(PSD)by using automated fiber quantification(AFQ)and the relationship between changes in fibers and the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD).Methods The HAMD and MRI data were collected from stroke patients with a single anterior circulation infarction at 1-month follow-up.AFQ was used to extract the main fibers and calculate the fractional anisotropy(FA)of each node in each fiber.The difference of node FA in each fiber between groups and correlations between altered node FA and HAMD were then evaluated.Results Data were collected from 8 patients with PSD and 18 patients without PSD(non-PSD).Compared with that in non-PSD,the node FA in the callosum,left inferior longitudinal fasciculus,and uncinate fasciculus were significantly decreased in patients with PSD(P<0.05).The altered node FA values in the corpus callosum forceps minor(r=-0.418,P=0.047)and left uncinate fasciculus(r=-0.467,P=0.029)were negatively related to HAMD in patients with PSD.Conclusions AFQ can precisely measure the segmental microstructural damage of nerve fiber bundles in patients with PSD,of which segmental microstructural damage of the corpus callosum forceps and hook tracts is associated with the severity of depression.
10.Association between dietary patterns and sexual function in people of childbearing age

Objective:To explore the relationship between dietary pattern and sexual function in people of childbearing age.Methods:This study adopted a cross-sectional method and included all women and men who visited Reproduction Center of Maanshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Reproductive Medicine Center of the 901th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force of People's Liberation Army and Reproduction Center of Anhui Wanbei Coal Power Group General Hospital from December 2020 to March 2022. The Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and International Index of Erectile Function-15 (IIEF-15) were used to assess sexual function. Factor analysis was used to establish dietary patterns, and multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the association between dietary patterns and sexual function.Results:A total of 1 290 females and 1 331 males were included in the study, including 1 031 females and 899 males with sexual dysfunction. There were 289 women and 272 men with balanced dietary pattern, 473 women and 395 men with traditional dietary pattern, 272 women and 324 men with processed dietary pattern, and 256 women and 340 men with beverage dietary pattern. After adjusting for confounding factors such as residence and age, it was found that balanced dietary pattern was negatively correated with female sexual desire disorder ( OR=0.904, 95% CI: 0.820-0.995, P=0.039), sexual arousal disorder ( OR=0.840, 95% CI: 0.759-0.929, P=0.001), vaginal lubrication disorder ( OR=0.833, 95% CI: 0.710-0.979, P=0.026), orgasmic disorder ( OR=0.764, 95% CI: 0.680-0.858, P<0.001), low sexual satisfaction ( OR=0.887, 95% CI: 0.796-0.987, P=0.028), sexual dysfunction ( OR=0.805, 95% CI: 0.714-0.907, P<0.001), and male orgasmic disorder ( OR=0.859, 95% CI: 0.763-0.967, P=0.012). The traditional dietary pattern was negatively correlated with female sexual desire disorder ( OR=0.879, 95% CI: 0.786-0.983, P=0.024), sexual arousal disorder ( OR=0.884, 95% CI: 0.784-0.995, P=0.042), male erectile disorder ( OR=0.736, 95% CI: 0.634-0.855, P<0.001), sexual desire disorder ( OR=0.753, 95% CI: 0.648-0.876, P<0.001), and sexual dysfunction ( OR=0.769, 95% CI: 0.653-0.907, P=0.020). The processed dietary pattern was positively correlated with erectile disorder ( OR=1.162, 95% CI: 1.049-1.287, P=0.004), orgasmic dysfunction ( OR=1.207, 95% CI: 1.091-1.337, P<0.001), sexual desire disorder ( OR=1.199, 95% CI: 1.081-1.330, P=0.001) and sexual dysfunction ( OR=1.134, 95% CI: 1.020-1.261, P=0.002). Beverage dietary pattern was not associated with sexual dysfunction in men and women (all P>0.05). Conclusion:Balanced, traditional dietary patterns were related to the reduce risk of sexual dysfunction in both women and men of childbearing age, while processed dietary patterns were related to the increased risk of sexual dysfunction in men of childbearing age.
