Objective:To investigate the supervisor-student relationship experience of nursing postgraduates from the perspective of humanistic care, identify the influencing factors for students' care experience, and provide a reference for building a good supervisor-student relationship pattern with humanistic care. Methods:Objective sampling was used to enroll 15 nursing postgraduates from colleges and universities in Wuhan, Hubei Province, Beijing, and Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. A semi-structured interview was then conducted in the students. Nvivo 12 software and the Colaizzi seven-step analysis method were used for sorting and analysis of the interview data. Results:Five themes and 15 sub-themes (namely, daily interpersonal interaction, academic interaction, emotional communication, internal growth, and professional literacy) were extracted. Among these themes, equal communication and mental health care were of particular concern to the students. The nursing postgraduates also expected their tutors to provide care in their daily life and help them develop three essential values. Conclusions:The supervisor-student relationship from the perspective of humanistic care is becoming more individualized and diversified. The tutors should provide multidimensional care to nursing postgraduates based on the students' personal characteristics. Meanwhile, they should focus on developing students' humanistic care abilities to cultivate high-level nursing professionals with a high humanistic care foundation.

Objective:To analyse the differences of related genes between serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) positive gastric cancer and AFP negative gastric cancer, and the relationship between related genes and prognosis of serum AFP positive gastric cancer. Methods:A total of 1 144 gastric cancer patients undergoing surgery at the 940th Hospital , Joint Logistic Support Force, People's Liberation Army from Jan 2013 to Dec 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Of them, 47 cases were of AFP positive gastric cancer, and 47 serum AFP negative case were obtained by proper matching method.Results:Forty-seven patients with serum AFP positive gastric cancer, accounting for 4.1% of all gastric cancer patients during the same period. The prognosis of serum AFP negative gastric cancer is better than that of serum AFP positive gastric cancer. The 1-, 3- and 5-year cumulative survival rates were 95.6% vs. 63.8%, 48.9% vs. 23.4% and 26.7% vs. 14.9%, respectively. There were statistical differences in the immunohistochemistry of AFP, HER2, VEGF, GPC3, SALL4, P53 and Ki67 between the two groups ( χ2=67.758, P<0.001; χ2=4.004, P=0.044; χ2=19.299, P<0.001; χ2=5.232, P=0.022; χ2=6.359, P=0.012; χ2=6.224, P=0.013; χ2=5.232, P=0.022). The more co-positive expressions of AFP, GPC3, VEGF and SALL4, the more likely they were to affect pTNM stage, vascular invasion and liver metastasis ( χ2=5.328, P=0.021; P=0.013; χ2=5.887, P=0.015; χ2=3.923, P=0.048). Univariate and multivariate survival analysis of serum AFP positive gastric cancer showed:AFP, GPC3, VEGF and SALL4 were risk factors for AFP positive gastric cancer ( HR=3.700, P=0.036; HR=4.237, P=0.003; HR=3.916, P=0.004; HR=3.412, P=0.001). Conclusions:Serum AFP positive gastric cancer is a rare and highly invasive special type of gastric cancer. AFP, GPC3, VEGF and SALL4 are overexpressed in serum AFP positive gastric cancer, which is correlated with tumor stage, vascular invasion and liver metastasis. The final diagnosis of serum AFP positive gastric cancer still needs immunohistochemical examination. Preoperative serum AFP level is an important basis for AFP positive gastric cancer screening and AFP immunohistochemical examination.

Recent trends suggest that Chinese herbal medicine formulas(CHM formulas)are promising treatments for complex diseases. To characterize the precise syndromes, precise diseases and precise targets of the precise targets between complex diseases and CHM formulas,we developed an artificial intelligence-based quantitative predictive algorithm(DeepTCM).DeepTCM has gone through multilevel model cali-bration and validation against a comprehensive set of herb and disease data so that it accurately captures the complex cellular signaling, molecular and theoretical levels of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).As an example, our model simulated the optimal CHM formulas for the treatment of coronary heart disease(CHD)with depression, and through model sensitivity analysis,we calculated the balanced scoring of the formulas.Furthermore,we constructed a biological knowledge graph representing interactions by associating herb-target and gene-disease interactions. Finally,we experimentally confirmed the thera-peutic effect and pharmacological mechanism of a novel model-predicted intervention in humans and mice. This novel multiscale model opened up a new avenue to combine"disease syndrome"and"macro micro"system modeling to facilitate translational research in CHM formulas.

Objective:To conduct a phased summary and analysis of the operation and quality control (QC) of the first human milk bank (HMB) in East China over a ten-year period. Methods:Data on the operation of the HMB at Women's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, characteristics of donors and recipients, clinical application of donated milk, and operational costs from August 1, 2013, to July 31, 2023, were collected, organized, analyzed, and described. Quality and safety management of the HMB began in 2016, with QC measures implemented. Chi-square tests were used to compare data related to the operation of the HMB, donors, and recipient infants before QC (2013-2015) and after QC (2016-2023). Results:Over the ten-year period since its establishment, the HMB received donor human milk (DHM) from 1 974 donors, totaling 9 390.41 liters. The qualification rate of donors was 86.47% (1 707/1 974), with a qualification rate of DHM of 98.01% (9 203.21/9 390.41) and 21 757 donation instances, with the highest individual donation count reaching 195 times. In the past 10 years, due to the epidemic of the new coronavirus in 2020, the number of milk donors, the amount of DHM and the total number of milk donations decreased significantly, but the amount of DHM per capita and the number of milk donations per capita showed a continuous upward trend. Compared to the period before QC, the qualification rate of donors [96.75% (1 253/1 295) vs. 66.86% (454/679), χ 2=340.33, P<0.001] and the qualification rate of DHM [98.19% (8 366.76/8 521.08) vs. 96.22% (836.45/869.33), χ 2=16.33, P<0.001] both improved after QC. A total of 11 197 recipients received 6 615.38 liters of DHM, with a utilization rate of 71.88% (6 615.38/9 203.21). The current operation mode of the HMB is "voluntary donation, free use". Over ten years, the costs for consumables, testing, labor, energy, and fixed assets amounted to 9.36 million CNY, with an operational cost of 996.32 CNY per liter (9.36 million/9 390.41 L) and approximately 1.00 CNY per milliliter of DHM. Conclusions:The hospital's HMB has been operating stably for ten years, and abundant DHM benefits many newborns. QC measures have effectively increased the qualification rates of both donors and DHM, providing better nutritional support for the treatment of critically ill infants. However, the operational costs of the HMB are relatively high, necessitating the exploration of an operational model suitable for China's national conditions.

Objective:To explore the regulatory effect of glutathione S-transferase P1(GSTP1) on the radiosensitivity of mouse Lewis lung cancer (LLC) cells.Methods:GSTP1-shRNA lentivirus and negative control lentivirus were used to respectively infect the LLC cells, and stable transgenic strains were selected. Real-time PCR and Western blot were conducted to quantitatively measure the expression levels of GSTP1 mRNA and protein in the LLC cells to verify the knockdown effect. The cell counting kit-8(CCK-8) assay was used to detect cell viability after irradiation. The colony formation assay was utilized to assess the cell proliferation ability after irradiation. Flow cytometry was performed to assess the level of cell apoptosis after irradiation. The tumor-bearing mice were established and irradiated to detect the changes in the tumor volume after irradiation. TUNEL staining was employed to detect the level of tumor apoptosis after irradiation. Immunofluorescence was used to detect the number of CD 4+ CD 8+ T cells in the tumor after irradiation. Results:Real-time PCR and Western blot showed that after shRNA lentivirus interference, the expression levels of GSTP1 mRNA and protein were significantly down-regulated. Down-regulation of GSTP1 reduced cell viability and proliferation, and increased the rate of cell apoptosis after irradiation. The tumor volume of the tumor-bearing mice after irradiation in the GSTP1 knockdown group was significantly smaller than that in the NC group, whereas the tumor apoptosis rate was significantly higher and the number of infiltrating CD 4+ CD 8+ T cells in the tumor was remarkably higher compared with those in the control group. Conclusion:Knockdown of GSTP1 can significantly increase the radiosensitivity of LLC cells and enhance the infiltration of lymphocytes in tumor tissues.
