BACKGROUND:Static stretching effectively improves joint motion amplitude, dynamic stretching effectively improves muscle strength and athletic performance through the post-activation strengthening effect of the muscles.OBJECTIVE:To explore the immediate effects of different stretching methods on knee joint muscle strength and vertical jump performance, and provide theoretical support for seeking the best stretching plan, improving sports performance, and preventing training injuries.METHODS:Thirty healthy college students were randomly recruited. The Biodex isokinetic muscle strength system,Qualisys infrared motion capture system, and AMTI three-dimensional force measurement platform were used to collect knee joint muscle strength and vertical jump data after static quadriceps/hamstring stretching, dynamic quadriceps/hamstring stretching, dynamic quadriceps/static hamstring stretching, and static quadriceps/dynamic hamstring stretching. The peak torque, average power, vertical jump height, peak vertical ground reaction force, and joint motion amplitude of the knee joint were used to evaluate the muscle strength and vertical jump performance of the knee joint.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the static quadriceps/hamstring stretching, dynamic quadriceps/hamstring stretching significantly increased knee joint peak torque, average power, and vertical jump height(P<0.05);dynamic quadriceps/static hamstring stretching and static quadriceps/dynamic hamstring stretching significantly increased knee extension and flexion peak torque and average power(P<0.05).Compared with static quadriceps/hamstring stretching, second peak vertical ground reaction force significantly decreased after static quadriceps/dynamic hamstring stretching(P<0.05);lower limb joint motion amplitude significantly increased after dynamic quadriceps/hamstring stretching(P<0.05).These findings indicate that immediate agonists/antagonistic muscle dynamic stretching and agonists dynamic stretching/antagonistic muscle static stretching significantly improve knee joint muscle strength, vertical jump performance, and joint motion amplitude.A larger joint motion amplitude is beneficial for improving athletic performance and better absorbing ground impact during landing. At the same time, agonists muscle dynamic stretching/antagonistic muscle static stretching is better than agonists/antagonistic muscle dynamic stretching to improve knee joint muscle strength, and agonists muscle static stretching/antagonistic muscle dynamic stretching is beneficial for improving the energy absorption capacity during vertical jumping and reducing the risk of injury during landing.

Objective:To explore potential risk factors for central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC).Methods:The clinicopathological data of 304 PTMC patients admitted to Baotou Cancer Hospital from Oct 2021 to Mar 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The risk factors of CLNM were analyzed using unifactorial and multifactorial regression. Results:The rate of central regional lymph node metastasis in 304 patients with PTMC was 46.7% (142/304). Univariate analysis showed that male, age <45 years, maximum cancerous lesion diameter ≥5 mm, total cancerous lesion diameter ≥9.5 mm, anterior-posterior lesion diameter ≥5 mm, anterior-posterior lesion diameter ratio of cancerous lesions ≥0.48, breaching of thyroid capsule, number of lymph nodes on the side of cancerous lesions ≥5, and antithyroid peroxidase antibody ≤34 IU/ml were associated with CLNM (all P<0.05); Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that. male, age <45 years, total diameter of cancer foci ≥9.5 mm ( OR=2.052, 95% CI: 1.176-3.581, P=0.011), anteroposterior diameter ratio of cancer foci ≥0.48 ( OR=2.076, 95% CI: 1.161-3.711, P=0.014), number of lymph nodes on the side of cancer foci ≥5, and anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody ≤34 IU/ml were independent risk factors for CLNM. Conclusion:Male, age ,total diameter of cancer foci, anterior-posterior diameter ratio of cancer foci, number of lymph nodes on the side of cancer foci, and anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody level are all independent risk factors for CLNM in patients with PTMC.

Objective:To analyze the relationship between the expression of DOG-1 and Ki67 and postoperative complications in patients with gastric neoplasms. Methods:A total of 84 cases of gastric neoplasms admitted to Huzhou First People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected as the study objects. All patients underwent surgical resection. The DOG-1 and Ki67 positive expression rates of cancer tissue and adjacent tissues were compared. According to the incidence of complications 1 month after surgery, the patients were divided into the non-complication group (58 cases) and the complication group (26 cases), and the positive expression rates of DOG-1 and Ki67 in the cancer tissues of the two groups were compared. Spearman correlation coefficient model was used to analyze the correlation between DOG-1 and Ki67 positive expression and complications. Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of postoperative complications in patients with gastric neoplasms. Results:The positive expression rates of DOG-1 and Ki67 in the cancer tissues were higher than those in the adjacent tissues: 77.38% (65/84) vs. 15.48% (13/84), 73.81% (62/84) vs. 17.86%(15/84), there were statistical differences ( P<0.05).The positive expression rates of DOG-1 and Ki67 in difference maximum tumor diameter, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, pathological grade, lymph vascular space infiltration had statistical significance ( P<0.05). The positive expression rates of DOG-1 and Ki67 in the complication group were higher than those in the non-complication group: 92.31%(24/26) vs. 70.69%(41/58),88.46%(23/26) vs. 67.24%(39/58), there were statistical differences ( P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that the positive expressions of DOG-1 and Ki67 were positively correlated with postoperative complications ( r = 0.741, 0.582, P<0.05). Logistic regression model showed that maximum tumor diameter, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, pathological grade, lymphovascular space infiltration, DOG-1 and Ki67 were risk factors for postoperative complications in patients with gastric neoplasms ( P<0.05). Conclusions:In gastric cancer tissues, the positive expression rates of DOG-1 and Ki67 are high, and they are related to postoperative complications, which are influential factors leading to postoperative complications in patients with gastric neoplasms.

Objective:To explore the current status of self-management behavior in patients with inflammatory bowel disease and to construct a structural equation model to explore the mediating role of health literacy between discharge readiness and self-management behavior. Methods:From March to September 2023, 310 hospitalized patients with inflammatory bowel disease in the Tenth People ′s Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University were selected as the research subjects by the convenience sampling method. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using the general information questionnaire, the Health Literacy Management Scale, the Discharge Readiness Scale, and the Self-management Behavior Scale. Results:Eventually, 303 valid questionnaires were retrieved. Among the 303 patients, there were 190 males and 113 females, with an average age of (35.63 ± 16.41) years old. The total score of health literacy of patients with inflammatory bowel disease was (94.35 ± 10.78) points, indicating a health literacy compliance rate of 74.3%(225/303). The total score of discharge readiness was (79.52 ± 9.16) points, and the total score of self-management behavior was (135.22 ± 17.36) points. In patients with inflammatory bowel disease, the discharge readiness was positively correlated with the total score of health literacy ( r=0.748, P<0.01), the discharge readiness was positively correlated with the total score of self-management behavior ( r=0.821, P< 0.01), and the health literacy was positively correlated with the total score of self-management behavior ( r=0.767, P<0.01). Health literacy may serve as a mediating variable, partially explaining the relationship between discharge readiness and self-management behavior in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The mediating effect accounted for 47.5% of the total effect. Conclusions:Discharge readiness not only positively impacts self-management behavior among patients with inflammatory bowel disease but also indirectly influences this behavior through health literacy. It is essential for clinical healthcare professionals to prioritize the assessment of discharge readiness and health literacy among these patients. By improving discharge readiness and enhancing health literacy, clinical healthcare professionals can effectively support patients with inflammatory bowel disease in their self-management efforts.

Objective:To develop a nutritional assessment scale for patients with inflammatory bowel disease and examine its reliability and validity for assessing nutritional literacy in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Methods:Based on the Nutbeam health literacy stratification model and knowledge-attitude-practice model, a preliminary scale was developed through literature review, semi-structured interviews, expert consultation and pre-surveys. A convenient sampling method was used to select 376 inflammatory bowel disease patients admitted to Tenth People′s Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University from September, 2022 to April, 2023 for questionnaire surveys, and reliability and validity tests were conducted to form the final scale. Results:The nutritional assessment scale for inflammatory bowel disease included 39 items. Exploratory factor analysis identified five common factors: nutritional knowledge, nutritional attitudes, nutritional practices, information interaction ability, and information evaluation ability. These factors explained 65.431% of the total variance. The content validity index of the scale was 0.857, and the item-level content validity index ranged from 0.800 to 1.000. The Cronbach α coefficient of the scale was 0.869, and the Cronbach α coefficients of each dimension ranged from 0.847 to 0.922. Conclusions:The developed nutritional assessment scale for inflammatory bowel disease demonstrates good reliability and validity, allowing for effective evaluation of patients′nutritional status.

Objective:To explore the effect and safety of local spraying tranexamic acid after thyroidectomy. Methods:Randomized double-blind placebo-controlled study method was used. Sixty-four patients underwent scheduled thyroidectomy from December 2022 to August 2023 in Baotou Cancer Hospital were selected. The patients were divided into tranexamic acid group and control group by random digits table method with 32 cases each. Before closing the wound during surgery, 16 ml of tranexamic acid injection with concentration of 25 mg/ml was used to wash the wound and 1 ml of tranexamic acid injection (tranexamic acid 100 mg) used to locally spray in tranexamic acid group; 16 ml of the sterile water for injection was used to wash the wound and 1 ml of sterile water for injection was used locally spray in control group, and then the drainage tube was clipped for 20 min. The neck drainage volume on the first to fourth day after surgery and complication were recorded; the C-reactive protein level before and after surgery was detected. Results:Two patients in each group withdrew from the study midway. The drainage volume on the first, second and third day and total drainage volume in tranexamic acid group were significantly lower than those in control group: (29.10 ± 8.04) ml vs. (38.50 ± 8.67) ml, (18.00 ± 7.33) ml vs. (27.20 ± 10.66) ml, (10.70 ± 5.75) ml vs. (14.60 ± 6.83) ml and (69.20 ± 24.48) ml vs. (96.70 ± 31.90) ml, and there was statistical difference ( P<0.01); there was no statistical difference in the drainage volume on the fourth day after surgery between two groups ( P>0.05). There was no statistical difference in C-reactive protein before and after surgery between two groups ( P>0.05). There was 1 case of fever (body temperature 37.5 ℃) in the control group, and there were no complications such as intermuscular thrombosis, venous thrombosis, incision infection and delayed wound healing in both groups. Conclusions:Local application of tranexamic acid after thyroidectomy can reduce postoperative drainage volume and does not increase the risk of thrombosis, infection and delayed healing.
