Objective To analyze the monitoring data of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases prevention and control system in Yichang in 2022, and to provide data support and experience for the precise prevention and treatment of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases. Methods Acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular event data were collected from the Yichang Cardio-cerebrovascular Events Monitoring System from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. Descriptive analysis was conducted for the data collected. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0 software, and a chi-square test was used to analyze the count data. Results A total of 37,217 cases of cardio-cerebrovascular events were monitored in Yichang in 2022. The crude incidence and the standardized incidence were 983.84/100,000 and 541.55/100,000, respectively. The incidence in males was higher than females (554.93/100,000 vs 428.91/100,000，χ² =464.52，P＜0.05). The top three diseases were cerebral infarction, acute myocardial infarction, and cerebral hemorrhage. The incidence of events increased with age, and 79.80% of the cases were over 60 years old. The main onset time was from May to August. Conclusion The use of the cardio-cerebrovascular events monitoring system in Yichang and the implementation of ^“mandatory reporting card^” monitoring can timely obtain the epidemic characteristics of the diseases, provide support for the precise formulation of prevention and control strategies and measures, reduce underreporting rates, and improve the monitoring system, which is worthy of reference and promotion.

Using China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, and PubMed database, literature search was conducted with the keywords ^“pregnancy^” and ^“monkeypox^”, and 27 related research articles were selected for analysis. Through a comprehensive review of the related literature, we aim to improve our knowledge of this viral disease, better our prevention, treatment and responses to future monkeypox outbreaks in China, so as to better protect the safety of mothers and infants. Maternal monkeypox can be prevented and controlled, if active and effective measures are taken in time. Drawing on the experience and lessons from monkeypox outbreaks at home and abroad, it is suggested that hospitals and public health agencies at all levels should raise awareness, and establish an effective emergency preparedness system for the prevention and control of potential future outbreaks.

ObjectiveBy exploring the volatile components， polysaccharide composition and changes in the contents of five carbohydrate components of Polygonatum cyrtonema rhizoma before and after processing， and then the effect of yellow rice wine on the odour formation of P. cyrtonema rhizoma was investigated. MethodThe volatile components of P. cyrtonema rhizoma before and after processing were detected by headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（HS-GC-MS）， and sample data were subjected to principal component analysis（PCA） and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis（OPLS-DA） using SIMCA 14.1， then the differences between these components of P. cyrtonema rhizoma before and after processing were screened according to the principle of variable importance in the projection（VIP） value>1. Crude carbohydrate components in raw and wine-processed P. cyrtonema rhizoma were subjected to oxime and silylation， the carbohydrate components were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（GC-MS/MS）， and the relative contents of various components were calculated by peak area normalization， then quantitative analysis of four carbohydrate components was also carried out. ResultA total of 23 volatile components were identified from the raw products and the wine-processed products， including 15 components in raw products and 20 components in wine-processed products. Among them， 2-methylbutyraldehyde and isovaleraldehyde had a sweet odor and their contents increased after processing， but the contents of hexanal and caproic acid decreased， new components such as 2-acetylfuran and 5-methylfuranal were produced after processing. PCA and OPLS-DA results showed that there were significant differences between raw products and the wine-processed products， a total of 13 differential compounds were screened out， of which 7 showed an upward trend in relative content and 6 showed a downward trend. A total of 7 carbohydrate components， including 5 monosaccharides and 2 disaccharides， were identified in raw products and the wine-processed products. The results of determination showed that the contents of fructose， glucose， mannose and sucrose in P. cyrtonema rhizoma increased after wine-processing， and their increases were 4.54， 1.51， 2.93， 3.66 times， respectively. ConclusionAfter processing， the increase of aromatic flavor of P. cyrtonema rhizoma may be related to the increase of the contents of aldehydes such as 2-methylbutyraldehyde and isovaleraldehyde， while the decrease of raw flavor may be related to the decrease of the contents of volatile components such as hexanal and hexanoic acid， the increase of sweet flavor may be related to the increase of the contents of monosaccharides and oligosaccharides such as fructose and sucrose.

{L-End}Objective To study the situation of occupational noise exposure and hearing loss in workers in petrochemical enterprises. {L-End}Methods A total of 2 052 workers from four large-scale petrochemical enterprises in China were selected as the research subjects using convenience sampling method. The noise-exposed level of job position was detected by individual noise dosimeters, and pure-tone audiometry of the workers was conducted. {L-End}Results The noise-exposed levels at various job positions in the workplace of the enterprises ranged from 83.2 to 86.7 dB(A), and 61.1% of the job positions had a cumulative noise exposure (CNE) > 95.0 dB(A) per year. The detection rate of high-frequency hearing loss was 12.6%(259/2 052) among the research subjects. The detection rate of speech frequency hearing loss was 5.5%(112/2 052) among the research subjects. The result of CNE stratified analysis showed that the detection rate of hearing loss at frequencies of 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 6.0 kHz, as well as high frequencies, gradually increased with increasing CNE (all P<0.05). {L-End}Conclusion The noise hazard in petrochemical enterprises is severe, and long-term occupational noise exposure can increase the risk of hearing loss among workers. Efforts should be made to strengthen noise control and hearing protection measures.

ObjectiveBy comparing the difference of volatile components of the decoction pieces before and after being processed by braising method of Jianchangbang and steaming method included in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia， the influence of processing methods on the flavor formation of Polygoni Multiflori Radix （PMR） was compared. MethodHeadspace-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （HS-GC-MS） was used to detect the volatile components of 30 batches of PMR samples from 3 origins with 3 processing methods. The GC was performed under programmed temperature （starting temperature of 40 ℃， rising to 150 ℃ at 5 ℃·min^-1， and then rising to 195 ℃ at 10 ℃·min^-1） with high purity helium as carrier gas and the split ratio of 10∶1. Mass spectrometry conditions were electron impact ion source （EI） and the detection range of m/z 50-650， the peak area normalization method was used to calculate the relative mass fraction of each component. The chromaticity values of different processed products were measured by a precision colorimeter， the relationship between chromaticity values and relative contents of volatile components was investigated by OriginPro 2021， principal component analysis （PCA） and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis （OPLS-DA） were performed on the sample data by SIMCA14.1. The differential components of different processed products of PMR were screened according to the principle of variable importance in the projection （VIP） value>1.5， and the material basis of different odor formation of PMR and its processed products was explored. ResultA total of 59 volatile components were identified， among which 34 were raw products， 33 were braised products， and 27 were steamed products. PCA and OPLS-DA results showed that there were significant differences between the three， but there was no significant difference between samples from different origins of the same processing method. Color parameters of a^*， b^*， E^*ab had no significant correlation with contents of volatile components， while L^* was negatively correlated with contents of 2-methyl-2-butenal， 2-methyltetrahydrofuran-3-one and 2，3-dihydro-3，5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-4（H）-pyran-4-one （P<0.05）. The contents of pungent odor components such as caproic acid， nonanoic acid and synthetic camphor decreased after processing， while the contents of sweet flavor components such as 2-methyl-2-butenal， furfural and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural increased after processing， and the contents of furfural， 5-methyl-2-furanmethanol， 5-hydroxymethylfurfural and other aroma components in the braised products were significantly higher than that in the steamed products. ConclusionHS-GC-MS can quickly identify the volatile substance basis that causes the different odors of PMR and its processed products. The effect of processing methods on the odor is greater than that of origin. There is a significant correlation between the color parameter of L^* and contents of volatile components， the "raw" taste of PMR may be related to volatile components such as caproic acid， pelargonic acid and synthetic camphor， the "flavor" after processing may be related to the increase of the contents of 2-methyl-2-butenal， furfural， 5-hydroxymethylfurfural， methyl maltol and furfuryl alcohol.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of long-interval programmed intermittent epidural bolus (PIEB) during the incubation period for labor analgesia.Methods:Seventy-eight nulliparous parturients who were at full term with a singleton fetus in vertex presentation, aged 22-35 yr, with body mass index of 18.0-30.0 kg/m 2, of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical statusⅠorⅡ, were divided into 2 groups ( n=39 each) using a random number table method: routine epidural bolus using a stepwise approach group (C group) and long-interval PIEB group (L group). Epidural puncture was performed at L 2, 3, and the analgesia solution was 0.1% ropivacaine and 0.5 μg/ml sufentanil in the two groups.The parturients in group C received 8 ml pulse dose per hour during the incubation period (cervical dilatation <3 cm), and 10 ml pulse dose per hour during the active phase (cervical dilatation ≥3 cm). In group L, the first pulse dose was 10 ml during the incubation period, 1.5 h later the anesthesia plane was detected, and 10 ml pulse dose was immediately given when the plane was lower than T 10, otherwise it was reevaluated 15 min later.After the interval time reached 2 h, a pulse dose 10 ml was given regardless of whether the plane was lower than T 10, and the pulse dose 10 ml was given at 1 h interval during the active phase.The numerical rating scale scores were recorded when the cervical dilatation was 3, 6 and 10 cm, and at the time of baby delivery.The duration of labor, total consumption of analgesics, and Bromage grade of lower extremities were recorded.The Apgar score <7 at 1 and 5 min after birth was recorded.The maternal adverse reactions and scores for satisfaction with analgesia were also recorded. Results:Thirty puerperae were finally enrolled in each group.The first stage of labor and total duration of labor were significantly shortened, and the total consumption of analgesics was decreased in group L ( P<0.01). There were no significant differences in the numerical rating scale scores at each time point, duration of second and third stages of labor, Bromage grade of lower extremities, incidence of adverse reactions, score for satisfaction with analgesia, and incidence of Apgar score < 7 after birth between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:When PIEB is used for labor analgesia, prolonging the infusion interval time of epidural bolus to 1.5-2.0 h during the incubation period can produce satisfactory analgesic effect and further decrease the consumption of analgesics and reduce the influence on labor stages when compared with administration using a stepwise approach.

Objective To study the changes of diamine oxidase (DAO )and intestinal fatty acid binding protein (I-FABP)levels in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy treated with selective brain hypothermia.Methods Collect a sample of 60newborns with moderate and severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy who were hospitalized in the NICU of Matemal and Child Health Care Hospital of Baoding from June 2013to December 2014.The 60newborns were divided into two groups randomly:hypothermia group(n=30)and conventional treatment group(n=30).Selected 30cases hospitalized at the same period, except the related to the ischemia hypoxia and gastrointestinal dysfunction disease as the control group.The levels of serum levels of DAO and I-FABP were measured by ELISA on admission and 7days after treat-ment,respectively.And the score of gastrointestinal dysfunction were compared.Results Neither the levels of DAO and I-FABP in hypothermia group and conventional treatment group had statistical differences on ad-mission[DAO:(15.77±2.04)U/ml,(15.81±1.85)U/ml,P﹥0.05;I-FABP:(310.01±46.43)ng/L, (301.12±38.61)ng/L,P﹥0.05],but were higher than that in the control group [(7.65±0.74)U/ml, (51.65±6.91)ng/L].Seven days after treatment,both the levels of DAO and I-FABP of hypothermia group and conventional treatment group decreased [DAO:(7.88±1.87)U/ml,(12.51±1.53)U/ml;I-FABP:(59.16±6.17)ng/L,(121.31±21.54)ng/L],meanwhile,the variation of hypothermia group was more significant(P﹤0.05).The correlation of the plasma DAO and I-FABP levels and the score of gas-trointestinal dysfunction was significantly (r1=0.831,r2=0.827,P ﹤0.01).Conclusion Hypothermia treatment could effectively reduce the levels of DAO and I-FABP,thus improve the gastrointestinal function in some extent.

OBJECTIVEThis study aims to identify the effects of corticotomy-assisted orthodontic premolar intrusion andevaluate the changes of root resorption and the alveolar bone.

METHODSBoth sides of the mandible of eight male Beagle dogswere randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. The third (P3) and fourth (P4) premolars were intruded withboth mini-screw implant anchorage (MIA) and corticotomy on the experimental side. By contrast, P3 and P4 were intrudedwith MIA alone on the control side. During pre-operation and after 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of orthodontic force applications,cone beam computed tomography was performed on every dog. The distance of tooth intrusion and root resorption of furcation, as well as the apex and height changes of the alveolar bone were measured and analyzed.

RESULTSThe intrusion distanceof premolars on the experimental side was greater than that on the control side (P < 0.05). The root of furcation and apex onboth sides occurred in root resorption, and the root resorption of the apex on the experimental side was lighter than that onthe control side after 12 weeks of force application (P < 0.05). The alveolar bone height decreased, and the height reductiondistance on the experimental side was greater than that on the control side after 8 and 12 weeks of force application (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONCorticotomy accelerates orthodontic molarintrusion and reduces root resorption.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the clinical features of patients with gallbladder cancer from 17 hospitals in 5 Northwestern provinces (autonomous region) of China from 2009 to 2013.

METHODSA total of 2 379 cases with gallbladder cancer in 17 tertiary hospitals from 5 Northwestern provinces of China from January 2009 to December 2013 were reviewed retrospectively. The clinical data was collected by standardized "Questionnaire for Clinical Survey of Gallbladder Cancer in Northwestern Area of China". χ² test was used to analyze the data.

RESULTS(1) Gallbladder cancer from 17 hospitals accounted for 1.6%-6.8% of all bile tract diseases from 2009 to 2013 in Northwestern China, average was 2.7%. Gallbladder cancer accounted for 0.4%-0.9% of abdominal surgery, average was 0.7%. (2) The incidence of gallbladder cancer was higher in the aged females, the ration of female to male was 1.0 to 2.1. The average age of gallbladder cancer was (64 ± 11) years. The occupation of patients was mainly farmers (χ² = 147.10, P < 0.01). (3) 57.2% of the gallbladder cancers were associated with gallstones. (4) The main pathological patterns of gallbladder cancer were moderate and poor differentiated adenocarcinoma, showing an aggressive malignancy. TNM stage IV accounted for 55.1% of all cases, which was associated with the poor prognosis. (5) The curative resection rate was 30.4%.

CONCLUSIONSGallbladder cancer is common in the aged females and mainly at advanced stage. The screening and follow-up of high-risk groups with ultrasound and other methods regularly could increase the early diagnosis rate of gallbladder cancer, aggressive surgical resection combined with other comprehensive treatment could improve the prognosis of patients.

Objective:To summarize experience of vertebral artery stenting in nine cases with vertebral artery stenosis for providing reference for clinical treatment .Methods :Success rate of operation ,vertebral artery stenotic degree before and after operation were evaluated in nine cases undergoing vertebral artery stenting .Results:A total of nine stents were implanted in nine cases and the success rate of operation was 100% ,after stents were implanted blood flow was unobstructed ,stent expansion was good and intracranial blood supply was good .Compared with before op‐eration ,stenosis rate significantly reduced after operation [(84.0 ± 5.7)% vs .(10.0 ± 2.0)% ] (P<0.01) .No vas‐cular restenosis occurred within three‐year follow -up .Conclusion:Vertebral artery angioplasty and stenting is a new emerging ,minimally invasive ,effective and highly safe therapeutic method for vertebral artery stenosis ,the therapeutic effect is sure and application prospect is broad .
