Objective:To figure out the timing of zeroing and the location of the zero line in the central venous pressure (CVP) monitoring and invasive arterial blood pressure (IBP) monitoring, and to provide scientific and accurate data for patients management. Methods:The liquid vessel models were used to simulate the pressure measurement process of the continuous pressure monitoring system. Based on the theory of fluid mechanics and the knowledge of blood pressure physiology and cardiovascular anatomy, the composition and influencing factors of the pressure in the fluid-filled catheter system during the zeroing and placing the transducer in the zero line of CVP and IBP, were analyzed. Results:The pressure in the liquid-filled catheter system was composed of atmospheric pressure, the pressure of pumping bag, the gravity of the water column (the vertical distance between the liquid level of Murphy's dropper and pressure transducer, ΔH), and the resistance of tube wall. This pressure value is set as a pressure of 0 mmHg (1 mmHg ≈ 0.133 kPa). In the process of pressure measurement, when the pressure transducer was placed at a horizontal position of 10 cm below the highest liquid level of the vessel, the pressure measured at different catheter tip positions was all 10 cmH 2O (1 cmH 2O ≈ 0.098 kPa); When the pressure transducer was placed at the horizontal position of the highest liquid level of the vessel, the measured pressure is 0 mmHg. Conclusion:Zeroing should repeatedly be performed only when one or more conditions (atmospheric pressure, pressure of pumping bag, gravity of ΔH water column and resistance of tube wall) are changed. In the measurement process, the pressure transducer should be placed at the zero line position at any time to eliminate the influence of hydrostatic pressure and to ensure the objective and accurate value.

Journal of Medical Biomechanics 2020;35(6):E685-E691
Objective To study the effect of vibration training with adjusted frequency on changes in explosive force of lower limbs, balance and muscle function around ankle joints of patients with functional ankle instability (FAI), so as to provide an empirical basis for rehabilitation training of FAI patients in clinic. Methods Twenty-six FAI patients were randomly divided into the experimental group (n=14) and the control group (n=12). The experimental group received 8-week rehabilitation training with vibration intervention, while the control group only received 8-week rehabilitation training. Changes in maximum power, average power, maximum speed and average speed of the injured limb during vertical jump with single leg, changes in distances during long jump, changes in time during one-leg standing with eyes open and closed, changes in contract time (tc), relax time (tr) and displacement (Dm) of medial gastrocnemius (GM), lateral gastrocnemius (GL) and tibialis anterior (TA) muscles before and after training were measured and compared. Results In the experimental group, the maximum power and maximum speed of the injured limb during vertical jump with single leg, the distance during long jump with single leg and the time during one-leg standing with open and closed eyes were significantly improved, and the increase was higher than that of the control group. The increase of tc of all muscles in the experimental group was smaller than that of the control group, but tr and Dm did not show any regularity. Conclusions Vibration training with adjusted frequency can effectively improve the explosive force and balance ability of lower limbs of FAI patients, and promote the tc shortening of GL, GM and TA muscles, but whether vibration training with adjusted frequency can reduce muscle tension and promote muscle relaxation is still not clear.

Objective To explore the epidemiologic and clinical features of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) caused by Coxsackie virus A16 (CA16) in Suzhou from 2010 to 2014, and analyze the relationship between the SNPs of oligoadenylate synthetase 1 (OAS1) and HFMD caused by CA16 infection.MethodsThe clinical data of children diagnosed with HFMD caused by CA16 during 2010 and 2014 were collected. The epidemiological characteristics were analyzed. Among them, 167 cases were selected to make comparison of the clinical features with 166 cases of HFMD caused by EV71 infection in the same period. The genotyping ofOAS1 rs10774671 was detected by TaqMan probe technique in 167 cases of CA16 infection children, 166 cases of EV71 infection children with HFMD and 163 healthy children. The relationship between polymorphism of gene and infection of CA 16 was analyzed.ResultsA total of 9 016 children with HFMD were included. CA16 nucleic acid detected to be positive in 762 cases. The detection rate was 8.45%. CA16 infection was most commonly in summer. Children under 5 years old accounted for 94.62% infected. Compared with EV71 infected children, CA16 infected children had shorter fever time, severer oral herpes, ulcer, and rash in hand, foot and hip, lesser nervous system involvement, fewer cases of high lactate dehydrogenase, high C reactive protein, high IgM or IgG, and signiifcant changes in the percentage of CD3+, CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8+ and CD3-CD19+ (P all?0.05). The frequency of GG genotype was significantly higher in CA16 infected HFMD children inOAS1 rs10774671 compared with healthy children (P=?0.475). There was no difference in the genotype OAS1 distribution of rs10774571 between common and severe CA16 infected HFMD group (P=?0.475).ConclusionThe epidemiology of CA16 infected HFMD disease in Suzhou area was related with age and season. CA16 infected HFMD children have different clinical features and laboratory characteristics.. Children withOAS1 rs10774671 GG genotype were more susceptible to CA16.
