Objective To introduce the modeling method of pendulum-like modified rat abdominal heart heterotopic transplantation model and evaluate the quality of the model. Methods An operator without transplantation experience performed 15 consecutive models, recorded the time of each step, changes in body weight and modified Stanford scores, and calculated the surgical success rate, postoperative 1-week survival rate and technical success rate. Ultrasound examinations was performed in 1 week postoperatively. Results The times for donor heart acquisition, donor heart processing, recipient preparation and transplantation anastomosis were (14.3±1.4) min, (3.5±0.6) min, (13.6±2.1) min and (38.3±5.2) min respectively. The surgical success rate was 87% (13/15), and the survival rate 1 week after operative was 100% (13/13). The improved Stanford score indicated a technical success rate of 92% (12/13), and the postoperative 1-week ultrasound examination showed that grafts with Stanford scores ≥3 had detectable pulsation and blood flow signals. Conclusions The pendulum-like modified rat abdominal heart heterotopic transplantation improved model further optimizes the operational steps with a high success rate and stable quality, may be chosen as a modeling option for basic research in heart transplantation in the future.

OBJECTIVE To explore the color and odor changes of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.slices from different origins,and com-bine modern machine learning technology to achieve rapid differentiation of origins.METHODS Intelligent sensory technology was used to quantify the color and represent the odor of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.slices from different geographical origins.Various data a-nalysis methods including principal component analysis(PCA),discriminant analysis,discriminant factor analysis(DFA),component heat maps,correlation analysis,machine learning and so on,were employed to establish a discrimination function for distinguishing the origin of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.slices based on color data.RESULTS Classification and screening of odor information led to the i-dentification of 10 differential markers:ethanol,carbon disulfide,cyclopentane,3-methylfuran,propylene glycol,nonane,phenol,1,5-octadienone,1,8-cineole,and sotolon.It was also found that there was a significant correlation between the color and odor of the slices.Furthermore,based on the concept of data fusion,the study established classification models such as subspace clustering,and compared to single-color discriminant analysis,the classification accuracy was improved to 94.4%.CONCLUSION The feasibility and superiority of intelligent sensory technology in classifying the geographical origin of TCM is confirmed,providing new methods and insights for quality control of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.slices.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of reconstructing distal radioulnar ligament with al-lograft tendon under wrist arthroscopy in the treatment of chronic PalmerⅠD type triangular fibrocarti-lage complex injury complicated with distal radioulnar joint instability.Methods Clinical data of 15 pa-tients with chronic PalmerⅠD type triangular fibrocartilage complex injury and admitted to our hospital between January 2017 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.All of them were treated with wrist arthroscopic allograft tendon reconstruction of distal radioulnar ligament.During the postoperative follow-up,the wrist range of motion and grip strength were evaluated,while the wrist pain and wrist function were assessed using the visual analogue scale(VAS)and modified Mayo score.Results All pa-tients were followed up twelve to twenty-four months,with an average of(18.15±2.20)months.The postoperative VAS score was(2.56±0.69),significantly better than the preoperative one(6.78±1.24)(P<0.05).Moreover,the postoperative ratio of grip strength between the affected and the healthy hand was(76.18±9.72)%,significantly better than that of(50.18±6.79)%(P<0.05),with increased grip strength.Meanwhile,the postoperative rotational motion of wrist joint[(151.09±12.38)°]improved significantly compared with that before operation[(142.87±10.19)°](P<0.05).According to the modi-fied Mayo score,8 cases were excellent,6 cases were good,and 1 case was fair,reaching an excel-lent and good rate of 93.33%.Conclusion Wrist arthroscopic reconstruction of distal radioulnar liga-ment with allograft tendon is effective in the treatment of chronic PalmerⅠD type triangular fibrocarti-lage complex injury with lower radioulnar joint instability,relieving pain and promoting grip strength and rotational motion.

Objective To investigate the long-term safety and effectiveness of withdrawal of hepatitis B immuneglobulin (HBIG) and/or nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs) to prevent hepatitis B virus (HBV) reinfection in liver transplant recipients with hepatitis B-related diseases after successful vaccination. Methods Baseline data of 76 liver transplant recipients undergoing hepatitis B immune reconstitution after receiving hepatitis B vaccines were retrospectively analyzed. The vaccination and response, the follow-up results of respondents with HBIG and/or NAs withdrawal, and the reinfection of HBV after withdrawal of HBIG and/or NAs were analyzed. Results The time interval from liver transplantation to hepatitis B vaccination was 26 (20, 40) months. The time interval from vaccination to response was 15 (8,27) months. Initially, 76 recipients withdrew HBIG, and 36 recipients withdrew HBIG and NAs. During the follow-up, 12 of 76 recipients who withdrew HBIG resumed use of HBIG, and 16 of 36 recipients who withdrew HBIG and NAs resumed use of NAs. The withdrawal time of HBIG and NAs was 135 (98,150) and 133 (34,149) months, respectively. Sixteen respondents did not receive booster, and 36 respondents received boosters on a regular basis. The time interval between the first booster and HBIG withdrawal was 44 (11,87) months. No significant differences were observed in baseline data between the respondents with and without boosters (all P>0.05). During the follow-up, 9 recipients were lost to follow-up, 5 were re-infected with HBV, 3 died, and 1 recipient developed graft loss and underwent secondary liver transplantation. Among 5 recipients re-infected with HBV, 4 cases had virus mutation. Significant differences were found between re-infected and uninfected patients regarding withdrawal of NAs and hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positive before transplantation (both P<0.05). Conclusions Long-term withdrawal of HBIG is feasible and safe for recipients with successful hepatitis B immune reconstitution after liver transplantation for hepatitis B-related diseases. Nevertheless, whether antiviral drugs can be simultaneously withdrawn remains to be validated.

The current production of Chinese herbal decoction pieces faces several issues including strong subjectivity,unstable quality,low production efficiency,and a lack of intelligent systems.In order to expedite the intelligent transformation and upgrading of Chinese medicine processing,this paper delves deeply into the problems and challenges encountered in establishing a digital and intel-ligent production model for Chinese herbal pieces.Addressing the slow progress in fundamental research on traditional Chinese medi-cine processing mechanisms,the absence of online digital quality characterization techniques,the low level of production equipment in-telligence,and the lack of evaluation standards for high-quality decoction pieces,this paper proposes a"New Quality Productive Forces"formation approach driven by technological innovation.Through interdisciplinary integration methods,the paper explores the mechanisms of Chinese medicine processing in depth,clarifies the correlation between the processing procedures and the"medicinal properties-quality"relationship,and employs bionic sensing and artificial intelligence to achieve a holistic quality characterization of decoction pieces.Additionally,the use of cloud-edge collaborative big data systems is proposed to enhance intelligent upgrades of the production lines.The paper also aims to establish a high-quality decoction piece evaluation system integrating"physical-chemical-bio-logical"multimodal data fusion.This approach aims to steer the Chinese medicine processing towards becoming more efficient,precise,and sustainable,thereby promoting high-quality sustainable development of the Chinese herbal decoction industry and providing both theoretical and practical support for the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.

Aggregatibacter aphrophilus is a member of the normal flora of the human oral cavity and pharynx, a Gram-negative fastidous bacteria, belonging to agglomerates, which is a normal mixed oropharyngeal flora in humans, most commonly colonized on the surface of oral mucosa. This bacterial infection is rare in clinical practice, and it is difficult to culture and identify the bacteria, which is easy to be missed. A patient with intracranial infection was admitted to Huaihe Hospital, who showed fever and headache as the main clinical manifestations, and Aggregatibacter aphrophilus was detected by the metagenomic next-generation sequencing of cerebrospinal fluid. The patient′s symptoms were significantly improved after anti-infection treatment.

Objective:To investigate the etiology of high myopia and the correlation between best corrected visual acuity and myopic diopter and fundus lesions.Methods:The clinical data of 112 patients (198 eyes) with high myopia diagnosed in Yuyao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2018 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The factors that influence high myopia were analyzed. Myopic diopter, the type and severity of fundus lesions, and best corrected visual acuity were evaluated. The correlation between observation indexes was analyzed.Results:The occurrence of high myopia was related to partial lens opacity, fundus aberrations, corneal pannus and heredity. Unconditional multivariable logistic regression revealed that parental myopia [73 (83.91%) vs. 39 (57.34%)], outdoor activities < 4.17 h [47 (89.36%) vs. 24 (61.54%), 26 (68.42%), 20 (65.42%)] are the risk factors of high myopia ( χ2 = 13.427, 10.300, P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Pearson linear correlation analysis showed that myopia diopter was negatively correlated with best corrected visual acuity ( r = -0.729, P < 0.001). Tigroid fundus, tilted optic disc, β-zone parapapillary atrophy and posterior polar annular choroidal dystrophy were positively correlated with best corrected visual acuity ( r = 0.461, 0.732, 0.528, 0.825, P < 0.05 or P < 0.001). The severity of lesion was negatively correlated with best corrected visual acuity( r = -0.673, P < 0.001). Conclusion:The myopia diopter and fundus lesion characteristics in patients with high myopia are closely related to best corrected visual acuity, which can be used to evaluate patient's condition and provide guidance for prevention and treatment of high myopia.
