With the continuous deepening of the concept of precision diagnosis and treatment for lung cancer, how to achieve higher efficiency and accuracy in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment pathways in clinical practice has become an important issue that urgently needs to be overcome. The current clinical difficulty lies in the fact that despite continuous advancements in imaging and molecular diagnostic technologies, there are still limitations in manual efficiency and subjective experience when it comes to massive data analysis and multi-scale feature extraction. Artificial intelligence (AI), especially algorithm systems based on deep learning, is an innovative technology capable of deeply empowering medical big data. This method utilizes algorithms such as convolutional neural networks, combined with radiomics, pathomics, and multi-modal data fusion analysis, demonstrating immense potential in early precise detection and benign-malignant differentiation of pulmonary nodules, digital pathological subtype recognition and non-invasive prediction of driver genes, precise 3D surgical planning and automatic delineation of radiotherapy target volumes, as well as dynamic risk warning during follow-up. This innovative technology provides a brand-new solution for realizing intelligent and individualized lung cancer diagnosis and treatment models. This consensus, based on the latest evidence from evidence-based medicine and combined with the development trends in the AI field and real-world clinical needs, was ultimately formed by gathering the consensus opinions of multidisciplinary experts in radiology, pathology, thoracic surgery, and other fields. The main content covers the application specifications of AI in the three core scenarios of lung cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, the technical standards for data collection and algorithm validation, as well as the ethical and regulatory challenges faced at the current stage. It aims to clarify the applicable boundaries of AI as a clinical auxiliary decision support tool, providing scientific guidance and standardized exploration directions for peers currently engaged in or planning to carry out AI-assisted clinical diagnosis, treatment, and translation of lung cancer.

Objective To study the antitumor effects of dendritic cell vaccine induced by astragalus polysaccha?rides on S180 tumor-bearing mice, and its possible mechanism. Methods Dendritic cells derived from mouse bone marrow were induced maturation by astragalus polysaccharides and loaded with S180 tumor antigen to prepare tumor vaccine. Tu?mor-bearing mice were divided into four groups and treated on day-5 and day-10 respectively. Group A was injected with NS, Group B with CTX (50 mg/kg), Group C with dendritic cells induced by astragalus polysaccharides and Group D with dendritic cells induced by tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α. After 12 days of tumor-bearing, the animals were killed. The sub?cutaneous sarcoma, thymus and spleen were separated and weighted. The inhibitory rate, thymus index and spleen index were then calculated. ELISA assay was used to detect the levels of interleukin (IL)-4, interferon (IFN)-γin serum of tumor bearing mice. Results The tumor inhibition rate was higher in astragalus polysaccharide group and cytokine group than that of CTX group (64.25%, 64.10%vs 35.11%). The thymus index was higher in astragalus polysaccharide group and cyto?kine group than that of CTX group (1.69 ± 0.26, 1.74 ± 0.38 vs 1.45 ± 0.22). The spleen index was higher in astragalus poly?saccharide group and cytokine group than that of CTX group (5.44 ± 0.76, 5.31 ± 0.81 vs 3.54 ± 0.52). The level of IL-4 was lower in astragalus polysaccharide group and cytokine group than that of CTX group (15.66±2.57, 14.72 ± 4.84 vs 23.95 ± 6.07). The level of IFN-γwas higher in astragalus polysaccharide group and cytokine group than that of CTX group (16.54 ± 3.71, 17.20 ± 2.03 vs 10.37 ± 2.19). All the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Dendritic cell vaccine induced by astragalus polysaccharides can effectively inhibit tumor growth. Its mechanism may be associated with the promotion spleen index and thymus index of S180 tumor-bearing mice, the effective correction of Th1/Th2 imbalance in?duced by tumor, and the enhancement of antitumor immune responses.

Objective:To elucidate the changes in apparent diffusion coefficients(ADC)by quantify diffusion weighted (DW)magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in patients with Alzbeimer's disease(AD),and the relationship between micro-structure changes of white matter(WM)and the cognitive impairment thereof. Methods:The DW-MRI was performed in 30 probable AD patients and 30 normal controls with normal-appearing white matter(NAWM).The ADC was measured in different WM areas. The neurologic and neuropsychological assessments were examined with mini-mental state examination(MMSE)in patients. The ADC were determined in standard regions of the frontal, temporal, occipital and parietal white matter, genu, splenium of the corpus callosum. Results:The value of ADC was higher in frontal, splenium corpus callosum, temporal, and parietal white matter of AD group than that of control(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference in the ADC value of genu and occipital white matter between AD and control groups(P> 0.05).The score of MMSE was 24.1±0.8 in AD group. The ADC values of parietal, splenium of the corpus callosum and frontal white matter were significantly negatively correlated with MMSE scores in AD group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).There was no correlation between the ADC values of genu of the corpus eallosum, temporal and occipital white matter with the MMSE score(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The quantitative DWI analysis of MRI DWI may be helpful in assessing WM abnormalities in AD.The parietal WM abnormalities may play an important role in the development of dementia. It was showed that Alzheimer's cognitive decline with ADC value and micro-structure of white matter was closely related.

Chinese Medical Journal 1998;111(3):242-247
Objective To examine the relationship between the profound hypotension in endotoxic shock and the dynamic changes of nitric oxide (NO) and endothelin-1 (ET-1), so as to figure out which of the NO or ET-1 was more involved in the pathogenesis of endotoxic shock. And to investigate whether an offset of their opposite vasoactive effects would occur during endotoxic shock. Results Plasma ET-1 achieved its peak level at 60 min post-endotoxin, and then waned. Plasma NO-3 started rising at 120 min post-endotoxin, then progressive increase continued till the last measurement at 180 min post-endotoxin. The decrease of blood pressure was significant at about 120 min post-endotoxin and further went down until death. The changes of hemodynamics and NO showed a quite close temporal correspondence between the increase of NO and the decrease of blood pressure. L-NMA and phosphoramidon obviously reduced the plasma levels of NO and ET-1 to below their respective baseline levels, and showed transient effect of increase on blood pressure. Soon afterwards, however, the status of hemodynamics was aggravated. Dexamethasone just inhibited the excessive increase of NO and ET-1 during endotoxic shock without interfering their baseline levels and showed most beneficial effects on hemodynamics. Conclusions Both NO and ET-1 increase during endotoxic shock, but only the increase of NO has a close temporal correspondence with the decrease of blood pressure. It suggests a more important role of NO in pathogenesis of endotoxic shock. The increase of NO and ET-1 is different in time-process, which indicates that an offset of their opposite vasoactive effects would not occur. Intreference against the increase of NO and ET-1 during endotoxic shock is most beneficial when their baseline levels are maintained.
