Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture at Hegu(LI4)on neural activity in the visual cortex of healthy volunteers using functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS).Methods Each healthy volunteer underwent three sets of trials in a resting state:the LI4 group received acupuncture stimulation at the right Hegu(LI4)acupoint;the negative control was the sham acupoint group(SHAM group);and the positive control was the visual stimulation group(VISUAL group).fNIRS was used to simultaneously monitor changes in oxygenated hemoglobin(Oxy-Hb)levels in the vis-ual cortex during various stages of acupuncture or visual tasks, thereby reflecting the activation level of the visual cortex. The entire acupuncture procedure was performed with the subjects' eyes closed.fNIRS recorded the raw optical density values of hemodynamics in the region of interest(ROI)of the visual cortex during each task phase. The relative coefficientβ value for oxygenated hemoglobin was obtained via Matlab analysis, and the coefficient difference Δβ value between the task period and the baseline period was calculated, representing the degree of change in oxygenated hemoglobin content in-duced by the stimulus, which reflected the change in activation level of the visual cortex after acupuncture or visual stimu-lation.A larger Δβ value indicates a higher degree of visual cortex activation.Generalized estimating equations(GEE)were applied to analyze the differences in visual cortex activation levels among the LI4,SHAM,and VISUAL groups. Results In channels 15 and 17 of the striate area and channels 10 and 13 of the extrastriate area, the Δβ values of sub-jects in the LI4 group during the needle manipulation and withdrawal phases were significantly higher than those in the SHAM group(all P<0.01).When comparing the Δβ values of the LI4 group during the needle manipulation and withdrawal phases with those of the VISUAL group, under the current sample size, the differences were not statistically significant(all P>0.05).The Δβ values in both the striate and extrastriate areas of the LI4 group peaked during the needle manipulation phase. Conclusion Acupuncture at Hegu(LI4)can effectively activate the visual cortex in healthy volunteers, with the most significant increase in activation observed during the needle manipulation phase.

Objective:To explore the latent categories of hospice care attitudes among nurses in a geriatric hospital and to analyze the characteristic differences among these categories. Methods:A total of 434 in-service nurses from Beijing Geriatric Hospital were selected by convenience sampling from April to May 2024. Data were collected using the general information questionnaire, the Chinese version of the Frommelt Attitude Toward Care of the Dying Scale Form B, the Self-Efficacy in Coping with Death Scale, and the General Well Being Schedule. Latent profile analysis was used to identify potential categories of hospice care attitudes, and Logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine influencing factors. Results:A total of 434 questionnaires were distributed, and 431 valid responses were received, with a valid response rate of 99.31% (431/434). The hospice care attitudes of the 431 nurses were categorized into two latent profiles: "negative attitude-low communication willingness type" (55.45%, 239/431) and "positive attitude-high caring type" (44.55%, 192/431). Logistic regression analysis showed that participating in palliative care continuing education within the past year, having discussed death with patients, perceiving difficulties in caring for dying patients, self-efficacy in coping with death, and subjective well-being were statistically significant influencing factors of the latent categories of hospice care attitudes ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Hospice care attitudes among nurses in geriatric hospitals can be classified into two latent categories: "negative attitude-low communication willingness type" and "positive attitude-high caring type". These are influenced by many factors. Nursing administrators should develop targeted interventions to support nurses in coping with stressors effectively and improving the quality of life of terminally ill patients.

Objective With the complex evolution of the social system, patients experience varying degrees of delay in obtaining medical and health services under the combined drive of internal and external environment. In order to alleviate the dilemma of seeking medical treatment in crisis situations,it analyzes the causes of the public's use behavior of Internet medical and health services after delayed medical treatment and the ways to improve it.Methods It employs the method of QCA analysis to explore the crisis management strategies adopted by 183 public.Based on Anderson medical treatment model as the theoretical guidance, conditional variables were constructed.Through deductive logic,it analyzes the complex linkage effect of seven variables, including accessibility level, traumatic life events, panic mood and satisfaction with Internet medical use,on the use of Internet medical services. Results it found that panic has a decisive role in promoting the public's use of Internet medical services.Five behavioural models of Internet medical use are proposed to reveal the potential driving mechanism of the public's adoption of Internet medical strategies. Conclusion By analyzing the synergistic effects between variables,it proposes comprehensive strategies, providing a new perspective for public health emergency management, and offering empirical evidence for policymakers to optimize smart medical services.

Objective To analyze the components of attentional bias on anger and disgust emotional faces in college students with social anxiety disorder. Methods DSM-V was used for clinical diagnosis after the initial screening with Interaction Anxiousness Scale. The subjects meet the inclusion criteria were divided into social anxiety disorder group (SAD group) and healthy control group (HC group).Koster's improved dot-probe paradigm was used in a 2 (group:SAD group,HC group) ×2 (emotion categories:anger,disgust)mixed-design experiment, and the different characteristics of attentional bias between the two groups on different emotional faces were compared. Results In SAD group, under the condition of angry faces, the response times to the probe targets with the same or different positions from the negative faces were (369.7±53.0)ms and (447.2±54.3) ms,while the response times were (429.6±70.2) ms and (444.2±55.8) ms under the condition of disgust faces, and the SAD group showed attentional bias towards both anger and disgust faces (t =24.15 and 2.45,P<0.05).Under the condition of anger faces, the response time of HC group to the consistent and inconsistent position of probe target were (466.9±40.0) ms and (483.8±43.8) ms,and the HC group had an attentional bias towards anger faces(t=6.58,P<0.05).The response time under disgust faces was (493.8±43.6)ms and (498.0±46.7)ms in HC group, and did not show an attentional bias towards disgust(t=1.65,P=0.108).The scores of attentional orientation to anger faces in SAD group were significantly higher than those in the HC group(F=19.26,P<0.001),but there was no significant difference between the two groups towards disgust faces (F=0.02,P=0.897).Compared with disgust faces, the attentional orientation to anger faces was faster in both HC and SAD groups (F=101.66 and 8.00,P<0.05).Compared with the HC group, the SAD group had an impaired attentional disengagement from anger faces(F=8.66,P=0.004).Conclusion The students with social anxiety disorder have attentional bias towards both anger and disgust facial expressions, which manifested as facilitated attentional orientation and impaired attentional disengagement to anger faces.
