Objective To explore the impact of an intelligent puncture navigation used by different physicians with varying years of experience to perform the lung puncture biopsy surgery. Methods A retrospective selection was conducted of 182 patients who completed lung puncture biopsy surgery. The primary parameters were recorded included puncture time, the number of needle adjust-ments,dose length product(DLP),and complications. The physicians were categorized into high-experience and low-experience groups based on their years of clinical practice. The differences of navigation guidance and manual puncture were compared between the two groups. Results The use of navigation guidance significantly reduced the procedure time for both groups of physicians(P<0.05).Additionally,for the low-experience group, navigation guidance notably decreased the number of needle adjustments(P<0.05)and reduced the radiation dose received by patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of intelligent puncture navigation can shorten the procedure time, reduce the number of needle adjustments, and lower the radiation dose received by patients in lung puncture biopsy procedures. It also bridges the operational performance gap between low-experience and high-experience physicians, making it a val-uable imaging-guided tool for widespread adoption.

Foodborne illnesses caused by Salmonella pose significant threats to worldwide public health safety. In this study,a rapid method for screening viable Salmonella in oyster sauce and milk was developed by utilizing an electronic microbial growth analyzer(EMGA).Target food samples were diluted 10-fold with RVS broth and loaded into test tubes.Test tubes were positioned in the EMGA to determine the bacterial growth curves and the time required to reach the maximum growth rate(Tmgr).Using Salmonella typhimurium(S.typhimurium)asan model species, there was linear relationship between the logarithmic value of viable bacterial concentration(lgC)and Tmgr over the range of 5×101-5×106 CFU/mL,with a detection limit of 10 CFU/mL.For oyster sauce, the regression equation was Tmgr(min)=-80.775lg[C/(CFU/mL)]+754.96(R2=0.9907),and the recovery rates of S.typhimurium ranged from 95.2%to 119.8%,with relative standard deviations(RSD)ranging from 3.5%to 16.3%.For milk, the regression equation was Tmgr(min)=-71.922 lg[C/(CFU/mL)]+618.65(R2=0.9985),with recovery rates ranging from 98.4%to 110.6%and RSD ranging from 6.4%to 12.8%.The EMGA method required only one portable instrument, and involving only three manual steps,i.e.,dilution,transfer,and insertion. When S.typhimurium contamination reached 106 CFU/mL,the total time consumption, from the unwrapping of samples to the readout of bacterial concentration, was no more than 7 h.When applied to detection of actual oyster sauce and milk samples, the new method demonstrated strong consistency with plate counting results in positive detection rates. This method was superior to the plate counting method, which was generally considered as a gold standard,in terms of accuracy, precision, simplicity and efficiency, representing a promising alternative for the on-site screening and quantification of viable Salmonella in oyster sauce and milk products.

Objective This study aimed to investigate the potential relationship between urinary metals copper (Cu), arsenic (As), strontium (Sr), barium (Ba), iron (Fe), lead (Pb) and manganese (Mn) and grip strength. Methods We used linear regression models, quantile g-computation and Bayesian kernel machine regression (BKMR) to assess the relationship between metals and grip strength. Results In the multimetal linear regression, Cu (β=-2.119), As (β=-1.318), Sr (β=-2.480), Ba (β=0.781), Fe (β= 1.130) and Mn (β=-0.404) were significantly correlated with grip strength (P < 0.05). The results of the quantile g-computation showed that the risk of occurrence of grip strength reduction was -1.007 (95% confidence interval:-1.362, -0.652; P < 0.001) when each quartile of the mixture of the seven metals was increased. Bayesian kernel function regression model analysis showed that mixtures of the seven metals had a negative overall effect on grip strength, with Cu, As and Sr being negatively associated with grip strength levels. In the total population, potential interactions were observed between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn (Pinteractions of 0.003 and 0.018, respectively). Conclusion In summary, this study suggests that combined exposure to metal mixtures is negatively associated with grip strength. Cu, Sr and As were negatively correlated with grip strength levels, and there were potential interactions between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn.

Metastasis is the main risk factor for poor prognosis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) .Chemokines are closely related to metastasis in the tumor microenvironment.CXCL8 is a cyto-kine-like secreted protein that plays key roles in the malignant development of a variety of tumors, but has not been elucidated in LSCC.In this paper,we elucidated the role of CXCL8 in LSCC cells and found miRNAs that targeted CXCL8,which may become new targets for the diagnosis and treatment of LSCC.Firstly, the GEPIA showed that CXCL8 was highly expressed in head and neck cancer (P<0.05).The real-time fluorescence quantification (qRT-PCR) found that CXCL8 was highly expressed in LSCC cells. The enzyme-linked immunoassay also found that CXCL8 was highly secreted in the superna-tant of LSCC cells (P<0.001) .Then, the CCK8 assay confirmed that knockdown of CXCL8 significant-ly inhibited the proliferation of FD-LSC-1 and AMC-HN8 cells (the average inhibition rate was 34.0%and 19.5%,respectively);The EdU assay also confirmed that knockdown of CXCL8 significantly inhibi-ted the proliferation of LSCC cells (P<0.05) .The transwell assay confirmed that knockdown of CXCL8 also significantly inhibited the migration and invasion of FD-LSC-1 cell (average inhibition rate was 40.0%,38.5%,respectively);Knockdown of CXCL8 also significantly inhibited the migration and inva-sion of AMC-HN8 cell (average inhibition rate was 37.5%,53.5%,respectively ) .The analysis of bioinformatics predicted that CXCL8 may be a target of miR-513b-5p.The dual luciferase reporter assay confirmed that miR-513b-5p could bind to the CXCL8-3'UTR.QRT-PCR assay also confirmed that over-expression of miR-513b-5p could decrease the 60% of the CXCL8 expression (P<0.01) .Cell function rescue assays found that overexpressed of CXCL8 could effectively reversed proliferation, migration and invasion of LSCC cells weakened by miR-513b-5p (P<0.05) .In summary,miR-513b-5p inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion of LSCC cells by targeting CXCL8.
