Qingzao Jiufeitang is a famous classical formula for treating lung injury caused by warm and dryness， included in the Catalogue of Ancient Famous Classical Formulas（The First Batch）. By systematically organizing ancient and modern literature on this formula， this study analyzed and verified the origin， medicinal composition， original plants and processing， dosage and decoction method， efficacy and application of this formula. According to the research， Qingzao Jiufeitang was first recorded in Yimen Falyu in the Qing dynasty， and its creation was mainly inspired by the Ming dynasty physician MIAO Xiyong's idea of the moisturizing drugs with sweet flavour and cold nature. Based on the 2020 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China（hereinafter referred to as the Chinese Pharmacopoeia） and the textual research results of modern scholars on traditional Chinese herbal medicines， the botanical sources and processing methods of the herbs in this formula are basically clarified. Among them， Mori Folium， Gypsum Fibrosum， Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma， Sesami Semen Nigrum， Asini Corii Colla， Ophiopogonis Radix and Eriobotryae Folium are consistent with the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The primary source of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma is the dried roots and rhizomes of Glycyrrhiza uralensis， family Leguminosae， while the primary source of Armeniacae Semen Amarum is the dried mature seeds of Prunus armeniaca， family Rosaceae. It is recommended to use Gypsum Ustum， stir-fried Sesami Semen Nigrum， stir-fried Armeniacae Semen Amarum， Asini Corii Colla bead， and honey-fried Eriobotryae Folium， and the rest of the raw products. According to the conversion of ancient and modern doses， the recommended dosages are 11.19 g for Mori Folium， 9.33 g for Gypsum Fibrosum， 3.73 g for Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， 2.61 g for Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma， 3.73 g for Sesami Semen Nigrum， 4.48 g for Ophiopogonis Radix， 2.61 g for Armeniacae Semen Amarum， 3.73 g for Eriobotryae Folium. The decoction method is to add 300 mL of water， decoct it down to 180 mL， remove the residue， and then add 2.98 g of Asini Corii Colla into the decoction. Take it warm after meals， two to three times a day. Qingzao Jiufeitang has the effects of clearing dryness and moistening the lungs， nourishing Yin and invigorating Qi. In ancient times， it was mainly used to treat stagnation and depression of various Qi， as well as paralysis， asthma and vomiting. In modern clinical practice， it is mostly used to treat diseases in respiratory system， otolaryngology， skin system and digestive system caused by warm-dry impairing lung， deficiency of both Qi and Yin. The above research results can provide a reference for the later development of Qingzao Jiufeitang.

AIM: To observe the clinical outcomes of Phorcides analytic engine-assisted topography-guided personalized laser assisted in situ keratomileusis(LASIK)for the treatment of myopia and astigmatism in virgin eyes with the refractive astigmatism significantly deviating from corneal topography.METHODS: Retrospective clinical study. A total of 32 cases(42 eyes)with myopia and astigmatism that received corneal topography-guided personalized LASIK in the Ophthalmology Refractive Surgery Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from December 2019 to March 2021 were selected. The uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA), best corrected distance visual acuity(CDVA), refractive state and aberrations before and at 6 mo after surgery were recorded.RESULTS: There were 15 males and 17 females, with an age of 23.00(18.00, 29.25)years old; preoperative sphere was -5.75(-6.25, -4.00)D, and cylinder was -0.75(-1.38, -0.25)D. At 6 mo postoperatively, the UDVA exceeded the preoperative CDVA in 19 eyes(45%). The spherical equivalent(SEQ)of all eyes(100%)was -0.50 to +0.50 D at 6 mo postoperatively, and the postoperative SEQ of 23 eyes(55%)was -0.13 to +0.13 D. There were 33 eyes(79%)had a postoperative astigmatism ≤ 0.25 D, the target-induced astigmatism(TIA)was 0.94±0.96 D, and the surgically induced astigmatism(SIA)was 0.94±0.86 D, with no statistical significance between TIA and SIA(P>0.05). The astigmatism axial deviation ranged from -5° to +5° in 33 eyes(79%)at 6 mo postoperatively. Compared to pre-operation, the total higher-order aberrations and spherical aberrations within the central 6 mm diameter of the anterior corneal surface increased at 6 mo postoperatively(Z=-3.778, P<0.001; Z=-4.929, P<0.001); the postoperative coma aberrations had no change(Z=-1.763, P=0.078); the postoperative trefoil aberrations decreased(Z=-2.490, P=0.013). Compared to pre-operation, the Strehl ratio of the anterior corneal surface increased significantly at 6 mo after surgeries(t=-5.401, P=0.013).CONCLUSION: Using the Phorcides analytic engine to assist topography-guided personalized LASIK for the treatment of myopia and astigmatism in virgin eyes with the refractive astigmatism significantly deviating from topography-measured astigmatism can achieve good therapeutic effects. Postoperative UDVA exceeded preoperative CDVA in nearly half of the eyes, and the quality of postoperative corneal imaging was improved.

Distal transradial access(dTRA)was first applied in coronary heart disease intervention by Kiemeneij in 2017,dTRA has become an important technological advancement of coronary interventional therapy.This approach,performed by puncturing the distal radial artery within the anatomical snuffbox or Hegu point,significantly reduces the incidence of radial artery occlusion compared with conventional transradial access and shortens compression time to 2-3 hours after procedure.Clinical evidence confirms the efficacy of dTRA in facilitating complex percutaneous coronary interventions,including stenting of left main coronary artery bifurcation lesions and recanalization of chronic total occlusions.Its application has progressively expanded to neurointerventional procedures(cerebral angiography),tumor embolization(transarterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma),and peripheral vascular interventions.Despite increasing clinical adoption,dTRA still faces challenges,including a long learning curve and relatively lower initial puncture success rates.Combined with the current paucity of robust evidence-based data,the viability of dTRA as a routine interventional access route remains a subject of debate.This article systematically reviews the anatomical landmarks,clinical advantages,limitations,and multidisciplinary applications of dTRA.This article aims to provide practical guidance for interventionalists and promote the standardization of this technique in daily clinical practice.

Consecutively hospitalized patients with confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Wuhan, China were retrospectively enrolled from January 2020 to March 2020 to investigate the association between the use of renin-angiotensin system inhibitor (RAS-I) and the outcome of this disease. Associations between the use of RAS-I (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) or angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB)), ACEI, and ARB and in-hospital mortality were analyzed using multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression models in overall and subgroup of hypertension status. A total of 2771 patients with COVID-19 were included, with moderate and severe cases accounting for 45.0% and 36.5%, respectively. A total of 195 (7.0%) patients died. RAS-I (hazard ratio (HR)= 0.499, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.325-0.767) and ARB (HR = 0.410, 95% CI 0.240-0.700) use was associated with a reduced risk of all-cause mortality among patients with COVID-19. For patients with hypertension, RAS-I and ARB applications were also associated with a reduced risk of mortality with HR of 0.352 (95% CI 0.162-0.764) and 0.279 (95% CI 0.115-0.677), respectively. RAS-I exhibited protective effects on the survival outcome of COVID-19. ARB use was associated with a reduced risk of all-cause mortality among patients with COVID-19.

Objective:To discuss the influence of high load and weightlessness environment on intervertebral disc by observing and analyzing the imaging changes of the spines in New Zealand white rabbits and the content changes of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (TIMP) in the intervertebral disc under high load and weightlessness environment, and to provide theoretical basis for prevention and delay of lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration under high load and weightlessness environment.Methods:A total of 120 New Zealand white rabbits with balanced age and body weight were randomly and averagely divided into control groups (further grouped by 30 d, 60 d and 90 d) and high load/weightlessness groups (further grouped by 30 d, 60 d and 90 d) with residual single-blind method. High load was simulated by animal centrifuge and weightlessness was simulated by tail suspension. The imaging changes and the positive expression rates of MMP1, MMP3 and TIMP1 in intervertebral disc were detected, and the statistical differences between the high load/weightlessness group and the control group in different time periods were compared, as well as among the different exposure time in load/weightlessness groups.Results:From the imaging observation, the T2-weighted images of lumbar 6 sacral 1 intervertebral disc in experimental animals decreased to some extent. The positive rates of MMP1 and MMP3 in each high load/weightlessness group were higher than those in the control group for the same exposure time, and the differences were statistically significant ( t=22.97-145.51,all P<0.001). The positive rates of MMP1 and MMP3 increased with the extension of exposure time, and there were statistically differences among the groups with different exposure time in high load/weightlessness group ( F=2531.10, 1758.80, both P<0.001). The positive rate of TIMP1 in each high load/weightlessness group was higher than that in the control group for the same exposure time, and the difference was statistically significant ( t=29.34-65.05, all P<0.001). There was statistically difference on TIMP1 positive rate among different load/weightlessness exposure time groups ( F=462.20, P<0.001). Conclusions:High load/weightlessness can cause the MMP1, MMP3 and TIMP1 content changes in animal lumbar disc. The changes of TIMP1 are obvious in the early stage and the sensitivity is decreased in the late stage. High load/weightlessness may lead to changes in the contents of MMP and TIMP in intervertebral discs, which may accelerate intervertebral disc degeneration.

Objective: To investigate the factors related to urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapsedon the 42-day after delivery. Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on the data of 1 713 cases of pregnant women who received regular birth examination and delivered from June 2017 to September 2017 and whose medical records exsited on the 42-day after delivery. In this study, 1 402 patients were in vaginal delivery and 311 patients were in cesarean delivery. The occurrence of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapsed and the general case characteristics of patients were analyzed. Results: The incidence rate of stress urinary incontinence in vaginal delivery group was significantly higher than that in cesarean delivery group: 11.20%(157/1 402) vs. 5.79%(18/311), P=0.004. The incidence rate of urgency urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in two groups had no significant differences (P > 0.05). The age, prepregnancy body mass index (BMI), the rate of vaginal delivery in urinary incontinence patients were significantly higher than those in without urinary incontinence patients: (32.8 ± 3.6) years vs. (30.4 ± 3.8) years, P=0.006; (25.6 ± 5.1) kg/m² vs. (23.5 ± 4.4) kg/m², P=0.001; 90.04%(217/241) vs. 80.50%(1 185/1 472), P=0.004. The age, pre pregnancy BMI in pelvic organ prolapsed patients were significantly higher than those in without pelvic organ prolapsed patients: (32.3 ± 3.7) years vs. (31.5 ± 4.8) years, P=0.033; (24.4 ± 4.2) kg/m² vs. (23.7 ± 3.4) kg/m², P=0.013. Conclusions Pelvic floor dysfunction is more prone to maternal postpartum who receives side cutting or forceps delivery recently, and these maternal postpartum educations should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of severe pelvic floor dysfunction.

Objective:To establish a surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy ( SERS) technique for the determination of atropine sulfate. Methods:The Raman peaks of atropine sulfate molecules were classified by theoretical calculations and experimental tests, and the 1002 cm-1 Raman peaks were selected as the characteristic peaks for the quantitative analysis. Results:The detection limit of atropine sulfate in aqueous solution was below 0. 5 μg·ml-1 . The relationship between the intensity of characteristic peaks at 1002 cm-1 and the concentration of aqueous solution was linear within the range of 1-8 μg ml-1 with the linear correlation coefficient r of 0. 9839. The recovery rates of 2, 5 and 7μg ml-1 were measured, which were 97. 1%-109. 8%. The average recovery was 103. 3%, and the RSD was 4. 5% (n=9). At the same time, the stability of the method among the batches was tested, and the relative standard deviation was 5. 7 %. In addition, the atractylodes rhizome samples containing atropine sulfate were detected,and the characteristic peaks still could be detected at 1002 cm-1 . Conclusion:The method is rapid, accurate and nondestructive with easy operation, which can be used for the detection of atropine sulfate.

BACKGROUND:In recent years,artificial cervical disc replacement surgery as a new method for the treatment of cervical disease has gradualy been accepted and understood,but relevant complications have gradualy attracted attention.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical outcomes of artificial cervical disc replacement in the treatment of cervical disease and the range of motion of the replacement segment.METHODS: A total of 25 patients with artificial cervical disc replacement in the treatment of cervical spondylosis,who were treated in the Department of Orthopedics,Air Force General Hospital of Chinese PLA from August 2006 to April 2012,were enroled in this study,including 15 males and 10 females,aged 31-76 years,averagely 51.04 years.There were 6 cases of double segments and 19 cases of single segment.They were folowed up for 24 to 93 months.Clinical results were assessed using the Japanese Orthopaedic Association score,cervical dysfunction index and pain visual analog scale scores.Imaging was used to observe range of motion,cervical curvature,heterotopic ossification,and degeneration of adjacent segments.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Neurological function in al patients was improved to different degrees.One case suffered from mild heterotopic ossification,but no clinical symptoms were found.No significant difference in range of motion of surgical segment,and range of motion of upper and lower adjacent segments was detected between pre-replacement and final folow-up results (P＞0.05).No significant difference in range of motion of C2-C7 was found between pre-replacement and final folow-up results (P＞0.05).Japanese Orthopaedic Association score,cervical dysfunction index and pain visual analog scale scores were significantly improved during final folow-up compared with pre-replacement (P＜0.05).These results indicated that artificial cervical disc replacement in the treatment of cervical disease can achieve better clinical efficacy,can keep the range of motion of replacement segment and avoid the accelerated degeneration of adjacent segments.
