Objective:To explore the motivation and experience of volunteers in palliative care, so as to provide a reference for volunteer training and support.Methods:From October to November 2024, volunteers providing palliative care from one volunteer organization in Hangzhou and two volunteer organizations in Suzhou were selected using purposive sampling as research subjects for semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was performed using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method.Results:A total of three core themes and 19 sub-themes were identified, including various motivations for palliative care volunteer services, multidimensional pressures and challenges in palliative care volunteer services, and diverse coping styles and positive attitudes of palliative care volunteers.Conclusions:Relevant institutions and organizations should conduct targeted and personalized training and support based on the motivation and experience of palliative care volunteers, provide volunteers with professional knowledge and skills training to improve the quality and level of palliative care volunteer services.

AIM: To study the distribution of CYP2C9∗3 and VKORC1-1639G>A gene polymorphism in Han population in Anhui province and their influence on the stable dose of warfarin. METHODS: The blood samples of 1 169 patients from 6 tertiary general hospitals in 5 areas of Anhui province from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected, the genotype of CYP2C9∗3 and VKORC1-1639G>A was detected by fluorescent staining in situ hybridization technique. RESULTS: The distribution of CYP2C9∗3 genotypes in 1 169 patients: the frequencies of AA, AC and CC genes were 90.16%, 9.24% and 0.60%, respectively; The distribution of VKORC1 genotype: the frequencies of AA, AG and GG genes were 84.26%, 14.71% and 1.03% respectively; There was no significant difference between the two genotypes in gender, age and regional distribution (P>0.05). The average daily warfarin dose of CYP2C9∗3 AA genotype in 755 patients with stable warfarin dose was (3.02±0.59) mg/d, which was significantly higher than patients with AC genotype and CC genotype; The average daily warfarin dose of patients with VKORC1-1639AA genotype was (2.72±0.40) mg/d, which was significantly lower than that of patients with AG genotype and GG genotype (P<0.05). And the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); There are significant differences in gender, age and clinical diagnosis between patients with stable dose of warfarin and those without stable dose (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: CYP2C9 and VKORC1 genotypes are associated with the stable dose of warfarin. Clinical anticoagulation therapy guided by CYP2C9 and VKORC1 genotypes can provide guidance for individualized medication of warfarin.

Imaging diagnosis of intracranial vertebral artery dissection aneurysm (VADA) is difficult due to its deep location and complex lesion structure. Conventional MRI is difficult to accurately observe and evaluate VADA, while high resolution MRI (HRMRI) has high spatial and tissue resolution, and vascular wall imaging technology can directly display the structural and pathological changes of the vessel wall, which plays an important role for the diagnosis of VADA and the evaluation of prognosis. The application progresses of HRMRI in VADA was reviewed in this article.

Objective To compare high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation effect on uterine fibroids between patients with different uterus positions. Methods The clinical data of 372 patients with symptomatic uterine fibroids, who were treated with HIFU at authors' hospital, were retrospectively analyzed. According to the position of the uterus, the patients were divided into anteverted group, mid-position group and retroverted group. Single factor analysis of variance was used to compare the baseline data of fibroids and HIFU ablation results between each other among the three groups. Results Successful HIFU treatment was accomplished in all patients. The average age of the patients was (39±6) years. Single factor analysis of variance indicated that no statistically significant difference in baseline data of fibroids existed between each other among the three groups (P>0.05) . The one cm3 sonication time and energy efficiency factor (EEF) in the anteverted group were significantly smaller than those in the retroverted group, the differences were statistically significant (P =0.007 and P =0.017 respectively) . Conclusion Uterine fibroids within an anteverted uterus are more likely to be ablated by HIFU.

Objective ToinvestigatetheeffectofhighGintensityfocusedultrasound (HIFU)ablationonuterinefibroidswithdifferent withdifferentT2Gweightedimage(T2WI)signalintensity.Methods 357patientswithsymptomaticuterinefibroidstreatedwith HIFU wereretrospectivelyanalyzed.AccordingtoT2WIsignalcharacteristics,fibroidsweredividedinto4groups:hypointensity,isointensity, hyperintensityand mixedintensity.The HIFUtreatmentparametersandablationeffectsofeachgroup werecomparedby O n eG W a y analysisofvariance.Results Theaverageageofthepatientswas(38.5±6.2)y,andtherewerenosignificantdifferencesinbaseline data(P＞0.05).AllpatientssuccessfullycompletedHIFUtreatment,withtheaveragetreatmenttimeof(128.3±60.9)min,theaverage nonGperfusionvolumerate(NPVR)of(74.4±14.7)%,andtheaverageenergyefficiencyfactor(EEF)of(7.1±4.8)j/mm3.Theresults of O n eG W a y analysisofvarianceshowedthattheT2WIhypointensitygrouphadshortersonicationtime,treatmenttimeand1cm3 sonicationtime,smallertreatmentpowerandEEF,largerNPVR,comparingwiththehyperintensitygroup withstatisticallysignificant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion UterinefibroidswithT2WIhypointensityhavelowwatercontentandhighenergydepositionefficiency, whicharemoresuitableforHIFUablation.

Objective:To design the liquid level detection system by ultrasonic method to meet the requirements of automatic enzyme immunoassay workstations and have a precise detection of liquid level. Methods:Because the existing sample needle should move down, liquid surface and the poor conductivity of liquid were invalid. So a method of ultrasonic liquid level detection system was designed. The control signal was launched by a microprocessor to control ultrasonic signal generator chip and the ultrasonic signal reflected when the liquid level in a test tube or microplate. Results: By receiving the reflection echo signal sent to the microprocessor for signal processing, the liquid level was detected. Conclusion: The ultrasonic method applied to the liquid level detection system to overcome the above shortcomings, improve pipetting accuracy and avoid cross pollution, so as to meet the requirement of the automatic enzyme immunoassay workstation test.
