Objective: To explore the relationship between beverage dependence and sleep quality among college students, providing empirical evidence for improving their sleep quality. Methods: From December 2024 to January 2025, a convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 3 974 college students from four universities in Anhui Province. The Beverage Addiction Scale for College Students (BASCS) was used to assess beverage dependence, and the Self rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS) was used to evaluate sleep quality. A multivariate Logistic regression model was employed to analyze the relationship between beverage dependence and sleep quality, and a restricted cubic spline model was used to examine the dose response relationship between the two. Results: The positive rate of beverage dependence symptoms among college students was 7.6%, with positive rates of 9.6%, 13.8%, and 7.4% for the withdrawal symptoms, health effects, and dependence symptoms dimensions, respectively. The detection rate of sleep disorders was 23.6%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting for covariates such as grade, gender, and body mass index, compared with the no beverage dependence group, students with positive beverage dependence symptoms had a higher risk of sleep disorders( OR =3.71, 95% CI =2.87-4.80, P <0.01). The OR (95% CI ) for sleep disorders among students with positive symptoms in the withdrawal symptoms, health effects, and dependence symptoms dimensions were 2.80(2.22-3.53), 2.38(1.95-2.91), and 2.45(1.89-3.18)(all P <0.01). Further analysis using a restricted cubic spline model revealed that the overall beverage dependence score and its three dimensional scores were approximately linearly related to the risk of sleep disorders among college students (all nonlinear P >0.05). Conclusions Beverage dependence is associated with sleep quality among college students. Schools should take multiple approaches, such as health education on beverage awareness, to improve students sleep quality.

The incidence of knee osteoarthritis(KOA)is in-creasing year by year,seriously affecting patients'health.Mes-enchymal stem cells are multipotent cells with multiple differen-tiation functions.The extracellular vesicles released by these cells can carry various"cargo"to corresponding cells and tis-sues,exerting biological functions.They have shown great clini-cal potential in the treatment of KOA.This study reviews the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of extracellular vesicles se-creted by mesenchymal stem cells from different tissues such as bone marrow,adipose tissue,and synovium in KOA.It is found that miRNA is an important biological component in exerting therapeutic effects.The study also discusses the research pro-gress of engineered extracellular vesicles in KOA,pointing out the current challenges in clinical application,such as standard-ized acquisition of extracellular vesicles and difficulties in targe-ted action,aiming to provide a certain reference for the basic re-search and clinical application of extracellular vesicle therapy for KOA.

Objective To investigate the clinical application value of colorectal double contrast-enhanced ultrasonography in diagnosing colorectal lesions and TN staging of colorectal cancer.Methods The clinical data of 479 patients with positive colorectal doulble contrast-enhanced ultrasonography results admitted to some hospital from November 2019 to December 2022 were selected retrospectively.The distributions of colorectal lesions and TN stages of colorectal cancer diagnosed by colorectal double contrast-enhanced ultrasonography were counted using the pathological results as the gold standard.The clinical diagnostic efficacy of colorectal double contrast-enhanced ultrasonography for TN staging of colorectal cancer was analyzed,and the ROC curves of the T and N staging models for diagnosing colorectal cancer were plotted by applying the 1VSRest strategy.SAS 9.4 statistical software was used to analyze the data.Results Among the 479 patients included,there were 462 cases in which the pathological diagnosis and ultrasound diagnosis were consistent with each other,with a compliance rate of 96.5％;there were 427 cases of colorectal cancer,accounting for 89.1％.Colorectal double contrast-enhanced ultrasonography had the accuracies being 96％,82％,63％,79％and 97％respectively for T1,T2,T3,T4a and T4b stages of colorectal cancer,with the micro-mean value of the accuracy being 83％.The accuracies were 62％,68％and 80％for NO,N1 and N2 stages of colorectal cancer,with the micro-mean value of the accuracy being 70％.The micro-mean value for T staing model to diagnose colorectal cancer was 0.92,and the macro-mean value was 0.84;the micro-mean value for N staing model to diagnose colorectal cancer was 0.88,and the macro-mean value was 0.85.Conclusion Colorectal doube contrast-enhanced ultrasonography is effective for diagnosing colorectal lesions,and provides references for TN staging of colorectal cancer.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2024,45(7):62-66]

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Burosumab in patients with X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets.Methods:Clinical data of 9 children diagnosed with X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets and treated with Burosumab in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology, Anhui Children′s Hospital from November 2021 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, including the general information, clinical manifestations, auxiliary examination, Burosumab treatment and follow-up.Results:Among the 9 cases, there were 5 males and 4 females, with a median age at diagonosis of 2 years. After traditional treatment, the fluctuation of serum phosphorus ranged from 0.7 to 0.9 mmol/L. The median age at the initiation of Burosumab treatment was 2.8 years, and the initial dosage was 0.8 mg/kg, administrated subcutaneously every 2 weeks. The laboratory and imaging indexes were improved after 6 months of Burosumab treatment, and the mean serum phosphorus level increased from(0.81±0.14) mmol/L to(1.02±0.10) mmol/L at 1 month( t=3.85, P=0.001) and(1.14±0.25) mmol/L at 6 months( t=3.58, P=0.002). The average alkaline phosphatase(ALP) level decreased from(509.89±110.10) U/L before treatment to(447.89±106.76) U/L after 1 month( t=1.21, P=0.243). After 6 months, the ALP level significantly decreased to(385.89±60.33) U/L ( t=2.96, P=0.009). The average height percentile increased from 18.42±10.09 before treatment to 26.56±16.59 after 6 months( t=1.26, P=0.227). Rachitis severity scores of both lower limbs ranged from 4.61±1.36 before treatment to 3.06±1.51 after 6 months( t=2.29, P=0.036). No serious adverse events occurred during treatment. Conclusion:Burosumab is safe and effective in treating X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets, exhibiting minimal side effects and significant clinical applicability value.

ObjectiveTo explore the possible mechanism of Changweiqing （肠胃清） in the treatment of colorectal cancer. MethodsHCT 116 cancer cells were used to prepare intestinal cancer cells with silenced polypyrimidine region binding protein 3 （PTBP3） gene and stably transfected cells with overexpressed PTBP3 gene. Stably transfected cells with silenced PTBP3， stably transfected cells with overexpressed PTBP3 and untransfected cancer cells were injected into the armpit of 72 nude mice to construct three different subcutaneous transplanted tumor models of colorectal cancer cells， including the silenced model， the overexpressed model and the control model， with 24 mice per model. Mice of each transplanted tumor modelwere randomly divided into Changweiqing （CWQ） group， oxaliplatin （OXA） group and normal saline （NS） group， with 8 mice in each group. The CWQ groups were given intragastric administration of 35.9625 g/kg of Changweiqing oral liquid and were intraperitoneally injected with 0.2ml of normal saline； the NS groups were given 0.5ml of normal saline by gavage， and intraperitoneal injection of 0.2ml of normal saline； the OXA groups were intraperitoneally injected with 5 mg/kg （0.2 ml） of oxaliplatin and given 0.5ml of normal saline by gavage. Each group was given intragastric administration once a day and intraperitoneal injection three times a week. After 31 days， the weight of subcutaneous tumors in each group was measured， and the tumor inhibition rate of the groups in each model were measured. Immunohistochemistry and other methods were used to detect the expression level of cell proliferation cell nuclear antigen Ki67 and apoptosis index. Real-time PCR and Western Blot were used to detect mRNA and protein expressions of PTBP3， signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 （STAT3） splicing isoform α （STAT3α）， STAT3 splicing isoform β （STAT3β）， B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 （Bcl-2） splicing isoform α （Bcl-2α）， and Bcl-2 splicing isoform β （Bcl-2β） in subcutaneous tumor cells in each group. ResultsFor all three transplanted tumor models， the weight of the subcutaneous tumors and Ki67 expression level of subcutaneous tumor tissue in all CWQ groups and OXA groups were lower than those of the corresponding NS groups， while the apoptosis level were higher （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. The mRNA and protein expressions of PTBP3， STAT3α， and Bcl-2α in the subcutaneous tumor tissues of the silenced model CWQ group and the overexpressed model CWQ group were lower than those of the corresponding NS groups， while the mRNA and protein expression levels of STAT3β and Bcl-2β were higher （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. All there groups of silenced model had lower subcutaneous tumor weight， Ki67 expression level， and mRNA and protein expression levels of PTBP3， STAT3α， and Bcl-2α in subcutaneous tumor tissue， as well as higher apoptosis level and mRNA and protein expression levels of STAT3β and Bcl-2β than those in all groups of control model； all groups of overexpressed model had higher subcutaneous tumor weight， Ki67 expression level， and mRNA and protein expression levels of PTBP3， STAT3α， and Bcl-2α ， while lower apoptosis level and mRNA and protein expression levels of STAT3β and Bcl-2β than those in all control model groups （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. In the control model， compared with the NS group， The tumor inhibition rate of all OXA groups was higher than that of corresponding CWQ groups， respectively. Compared to that of each control model group， the tumor inhibition rate was positive value of each silenced model group， and negative value of each overexpressed model group. ConclusionPTBP3 can promote the proliferation and inhibit apoptosis of intestinal cancer cells， upregulate the expression of STAT3α and Bcl-2α， and downregulate the expression of STAT3β and Bcl-2β in intestinal cancer cells. The meachnism of action of Changweiqing in the treatment of colorectal cancer maybe related to the inhibition of PTBP3， and regulation of the expression of STAT3α， STAT3β， Bcl-2α， and Bcl-2β.

OBJECTIVE To establish the quality standard of Triadica cochinchinensis and to perform the acute toxicity study. METHODS Appearance properties, powder microscopic identification, and thin-layer chromatography(TLC) identification were researched. The specific chromatogram was established by HPLC. The content of cadmium(Cd), lead(Pb), arsenic(As), copper(Cu), and mercury(Hg) was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS). Acute toxicity was studied by maximum dose. RESULTS The outer skin of herbs was dark brown, and the inner surface was light yellow brown and fibrous. Besides, crystal sheath fiber was common, and calcium oxalate clusters arranges in rows. In the TLC diagram of the test product, the fluorescent spots of the same color were displayed at the corresponding position of the control product(scopoletin, isofraxidin). Five common peaks were calibrated in the characteristic map and the three characteristic peaks(scopoletin, isofraxidin, dimethylfraxetin) were recognized. The content of the measured heavy metal elements was lower than the national limit standard. The linear correlation coefficient was R2 > 0.999. The precision, stability, repetitive RSD were < 10%. The average recovery rate of the added sample was 80%−120%, and the RSD was < 10%. The maximum dose of the acute toxicity test was 184.09 g·kg−1. The 14 d internal body mass, food intake, organ-body ratios, the serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, blood urea nitrogen, and creatinine were not significantly different by comparing with the normal controls. Therefore, no significant toxicity was observed. CONCLUSION The established standard can provide a reference for evaluating the quality of Triadica cochinchinensis. The heavy metal content of ten batches of medicinal materials is within the safe range. Acute toxicity test show that there is no obvious significant adverse teactions after oral administration, and the safe dose range is large, which can provide a reference for the subsequent development and utilization.

IgA nephropathy（IgAN）is the most common cause of glomerular hematuria in China.It is the most common primary glomerular disease in the world，mainly characterized by recurrent gross hematuria or microscopic hematuria and IgA deposition in the mesangial region.The early symptoms of IgAN are mild and the onset is insidious，with slowly progress and eventually about 40% to end-stage renal disease.So far，the pathogenesis of IgAN is not fully understood and its clinical and pathological manifestations are diverse.At present，supportive treatment is the main treatment and there is a lack of specific and effective treatment.In this paper，the therapeutic progress of IgAN will be reviewed from the aspects of supportive therapy，hormone drugs，immunosuppressants，antimalarial drugs and novel biologics.

Objective To explore the impact of clinical treatment decisions on the long-term survival of different molecular subtypes of locally advanced breast cancer(LABC),and to promote the development of more effective and individualized treatment regimens for LABC.Methods The cases of LABC diagnosed by pathology from 2010 to 2015 were searched in the database.Breast cancer-specific survival(BCSS)and overall survival(OS)were estimated by plotting Kaplan-Meier curves.The log rank test(Mantel-Cox)was used to analyze the difference between the groups,and the benefit population of LABC was determined after for age,TNM stage,grade,treatment methods.Results The 5-year OS and BCSS were 77.43％and 84.34％in breast-conserving,and 68.03％and 76.90％in mastectomy,respectively.The 5-year OS and BCSS of Luminal A LABC were 79.91％and 87.23％in breast-conserving,and 71.78％and 81.16％in mastectomy,respectively.The 5-year OS and BCSS of Luminal B LABC were 79.30％and 83.14％in breast-conserving,and were 70.37％and 76.92％in mastectomy,respectively.The 5-year OS and BCSS of triple-negative LABC were 60.77％and 68.13％in breast-conserving,and those of mastectomy were 47.13％and 55.94％,respectively.The 5-year OS and BCSS of HER2 positive were 75.42％,82.05％in breast-conserving,and were 67.05％and 75.01％in mastectomy,respectively;The 5-year OS and BCSS of triple-positive LABC were 86.12％and 91.63％in breast-conserving,and 74.54％and 82.56％in mastectomy,respectively.The 5-year OS and BCSS of well differentiated and N0 triple-positive LABC patients with chemotherapy were 88.24％and 76.91％,and those of patients without chmotherapy were 88.24％and 90.91％,respectively(BCSS:P=0.812;OS:P=0.311).Conclusion In the selective population,OS and BCSS of patients with LABC undergoing breast conserving surgery were significantly better than those of mastectomy.When OS and BCSS were compared for different molecular types and stages of LABC,breast-conserving surgery was still superior to total mastectomy.LABC could be considered for highly differentiated,N0 stage Triple positive without chemotherapy.

Alport syndrome(AS)is a hereditary nephropathy associated with hematuria, proteinuria and progressive kidney failure.It is characterized by a defective glomerular basement membrane caused by mutations in type Ⅳ collagen genes COL4A3/A4/A5, which result in defective in the type Ⅳa3, a4 and a5 chains respectively.At present, there is no preventive or curative therapies for AS.Inhibitors of the renin angiotensin aldosterone system are routinely used to slow the progression of kidney disease and prolong life expectancy.Ramipril was found in retrospective studies to delay the onset of end stage renal disease(ESRD), supporting that early initiation of renin angiotensin aldosterone system blockade is very important.Advances in our understanding on the pathogenesis of AS has culminated in the development of innovative therapeutic approaches that are currently under investigation.This review will briefly outline novel therapeutic targets for the prevention of renal disease progression in AS.

As a ligand-dependent transcription factor,retinoid-associated orphan receptor γt(RORyt)that controls T helper(Th)17 cell differentiation and interleukin(IL)-17 expression plays a critical role in the pro-gression of several inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.An emerging novel approach to the therapy of these diseases thus involves controlling the transcriptional capacity of RORyt to decrease Th17 cell development and IL-17 production.Several RORyt inhibitors including both antagonists and inverse agonists have been discovered to regulate the transcriptional activity of RORyt by binding to orthosteric-or allosteric-binding sites in the ligand-binding domain.Some of small-molecule inhibitors have entered clinical evaluations.Therefore,in current review,the role of RORyt in Th17 regulation and Th17-related inflammatory and autoimmune diseases was highlighted.Notably,the recently developed RORyt inhibitors were summarized,with an emphasis on their optimization from lead compounds,ef-ficacy,toxicity,mechanisms of action,and clinical trials.The limitations of current development in this area were also discussed to facilitate future research.
