Objective To observe the clinical,CT and MRI manifestations of CIC-rear ranged sarcoma(CRS).Methods Eight patients with single CRS lesion ranged from 3.79 to 98.81 cm and the median of 21.37 cm were retrospectively enrolled,6 lesions located in deep soft tissue and 2 located in the femur. The clinical and imaging data were observed. Results All 8 CRS lesions presented as rapidly growing local masses, including 6 solid cystic soft tissue lesions and 2 non enlarged bone lesions with osteolytic bone destruction, which were all lobulated lesions with uneven equal-low density/slightly high T1 and slightly high T2 signals, with multiple focal map like necrosis.Diffusion weighted imaging showed lesions with limited diffusion and invasion of adjacent tissue, and"ice melting sign"was observed in 4 cases. After administration of contrast agents, the solid components of lesions enhanced unevenly and moderately or significantly and sustainedly, with slightly more pronounced enhancement at the edges, abundant blood vessels were visible inside and at the edges."Vascular floating sign"was noticed in 2 cases. Conclusion The clinical,CT and MRI manifestations of CRS had certain characteristics.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)is a common behavioral disorder in children and has significant non-specific symptoms. The specific pathogenesis of ADHD remains unclear.Chinese medicine has a unique advantage in treating this disease. The"qi cycle in round"theory is a unique diagnosis and treatment system constructed by Huang Yuanyu,a Qing Dynasty physician, through systematic integration and innovative development of the theoretical framework of traditional Chinese medicine, which is widely used in clinical practice.Based on the"qi cycle in round"theory, the pathogenesis of ADHD in children was discussed, and the abnormal middle qi was proposed as the root cause of the disease, with hyperactivity of the liver, lung depletion, and fire as the key contributing factors.Guided by the"qi cycle in round"theory in the treatment of ADHD in children, the approach focuses on restoring and balancing central qi.It emphasized the understanding of the overall changes in the spleen, stomach, lungs, liver, heart, kidney, and other viscera, along with the movement of qi.Treatment focuses on methods such as lifting clear yang, reducing stomach turbidity, softening the liver and quenching the wind, suppressing the lungs and reducing the inversion, and reducing the fire and returning to the yuan. These interventions aim to promote the smooth circulation of the qi circulation from multiple perspectives, thereby facilitating recovery.

Chinese Journal of Reparative and Reconstructive Surgery 2024;38(11):1408-1413
OBJECTIVE:
To review the research progress on bone repair biomaterials with the function of recruiting endogenous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
METHODS:
An extensive review of the relevant literature on bone repair biomaterials, particularly those designed to recruit endogenous MSCs, was conducted, encompassing both domestic and international studies from recent years. The construction methods and optimization strategies for these biomaterials were summarized. Additionally, future research directions and focal points concerning this material were proposed.
RESULTS:
With the advancement of tissue engineering technology, bone repair biomaterials have increasingly emerged as an ideal solution for addressing bone defects. MSCs serve as the most critical "seed cells" in bone tissue engineering. Historically, both MSCs and their derived exosomes have been utilized in bone repair biomaterials; however, challenges such as limited sources of MSCs and exosomes, low survival rates, and various other issues have persisted. To address these challenges, researchers are combining growth factors, bioactive peptides, specific aptamers, and other substances with biomaterials to develop constructs that facilitate stem cell recruitment. By optimizing mechanical properties, promoting vascular regeneration, and regulating the microenvironment, it is possible to create effective bone repair biomaterials that enhance stem cell recruitment.
CONCLUSION
In comparison to cytokines, phages, and metal ions, bioactive peptides and aptamers obtained through screening exhibit more specific and targeted recruitment functions. Future development directions for bone repair biomaterials will involve the modification of peptides and aptamers with targeted recruitment capabilities in biological materials, as well as the optimization of the mechanical properties of these materials to enhance vascular regeneration and adjust the microenvironment.

Objective To validate the mechanism of Mori Cortex-Lycii Cortex(MCLC)in intervening acute lung injury(ALI)based on network pharmacology, molecular docking combined with animal experiments. Methods The TCMSP database was used to obtain the active components of MCLC;the SwissTargetPrediction database was used to predict the targets of active components;the GeneCards database and DisGeNET database were used to collect the disease targets of ALI;the key targets were screened by constructing a PPI network, and the key targets were subjected to GO and KEGG pathway enrichment;a drug-component-target-pathway network was constructed using Cytoscape software;AutoDock and PyMOL software were used to validate the molecular docking of some of the compounds and targets;LPS was used to establish a mouse model of ALI for experimental validation, and experimental validation was performed to main targets and pathways. Results Totally 44 active components of MCLC and 138 action targets were obtained;26 potential targets of MCLC intervention in ALI were obtained, mainly TNF,EGFR,NFKB1,MPO,TNFRSF1A,NOX4,etc.,and the key pathways were MAPK signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway,NF-κB signaling pathway, etc.;molecular docking results showed that the core active components of MCLC and the main targets had strong binding activities;animal experiments showed that MCLC at medium and high dosages could effectively improve the lung histopathological damage in ALI mice, decrease the contents of IL-6 and TNF-α in serum(P<0.01),and increase IL-10 content(P<0.01);MCLC inhibited protein expressions of EGFR,PI3K,AKT,NF-κB p65 in lung tissue(P<0.01).Conclusion MCLC may intervene ALI by components such as quercetin and buddleoside, acting on targets including EGFR and TNF,through ulti-pathways of EGFR/PI3K/NF-κB signaling pathway, etc.

Reactive oxygen species play a crucial role in maintaining metabolic balance in the body. They are not only important mediators in maintaining a normal physiological environment, but also important triggers for the occurrence and development of many diseases. Osteoarthritis is the most common degenerative joint disease at present. Due to the aging population, extended life expectancy and obesity, the incidence rate and prevalence of osteoarthritis have increased year by year. Recent studies on osteoarthritis show that reactive oxygen species play a crucial role in its occurrence and development, and are key factors leading to extracellular matrix degradation, mitochondrial dysfunction, chondrocyte apoptosis and the progress of osteoarthritis. For osteoarthritis, moderate levels of reactive oxygen species can promote the proliferation of chondrocytes and the formation of cartilage matrix. However, excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species can induce oxidative stress, leading to degeneration of chondrocytes and breakdown of cartilage matrix, ultimately resulting in the occurrence of osteoarthritis and many other metabolic diseases. In recent years, hydrogels have attracted attention as new biomaterials for the treatment of osteoarthritis. Reactive oxygen scavenging hydrogels are a new type of polymer biomaterials with drug intelligent delivery function that can regulate tissue oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction. They mainly include traditional reactive oxygen scavenging hydrogels with the main function of loading reactive oxygen scavenging drugs and reactive oxygen responsive hydrogels with reactive oxygen responsive groups. The former mainly uses slow-release drugs with reactive oxygen species scavenging properties encapsulated in it to treat osteoarthritis, while the latter can not only clear the reactive oxygen species generated during the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis by breaking the reactive oxygen species responsive groups, but also responsively deliver various drugs for treating osteoarthritis. Reactive oxygen scavenging hydrogels have a good prospect in the treatment of osteoarthritis and repair.
