Objective:To sinicize the Obsessive and Compulsive Behaviors Scale of Mothers in Postpartum Period Regarding Baby Care (OCBS-MPPRBC) to test its reliability and validity, and to provide an evaluation tool for evaluating the degree of compulsive behaviors of postpartum mothers regarding baby care. Methods:Following the principles of Brislin translation, back translation and cross-cultural adaptation, the Chinese version of OCBS-MPPRBC was formed. A convenient sampling method was used to investigate 360 women in Mianyang Central Hospital from November 2023 to February 2024, and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version OCBS-MPPRBC. The critical ratio method and the total correlation analysis method were used for item analysis, the reliability test was based on Cronbach α coefficient and half-reliability method, and the content validity index, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and aggregate validity were used for validity test. Results:A total of 352 women aged 21-41 (31.55 ± 3.17) years who met the exclusion criteria were included. The Chinese version of OCBS-MPPRBC contained 9 items, and 2 common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative total variance contribution rate was 65.523%. The content validity index of the scale level was 0.89, the content validity index of each item level was 0.86-1.00, and the Cronbach α coefficient of the total scale was 0.844, and the half-folded reliability was 0.759. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fitting index of the Chinese version of the OCBS-MPPRBC model was better. Conclusions:The Chinese version of the OCBS-MPPRBC scale has good reliability and validity, and has good operability, which can be used to evaluate the degree of compulsive behavior of postpartum mothers about baby care in China.

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of dual-kidney transplantation from infant donors to adult recipients. Methods:From December 2012 to November 2020 in Organ Transplant Center First Affiliated Hospital Sun Yat-sen University, rertrospective reviews were conducted for clinical data of 25 pairs of infant donors and adult recipients. The survival rates were calculated for both recipients and transplanted kidneys at Year 1/3/5 post-transplantation. And the postoperative recovery status and the postoperative incidence of adverse events of recipients were observed. Results:The survival rates of recipients were all 95.8% at Year 1/3/5 and those of transplanted kidney and dealth-cancelling transplanted kidney all 87.2%. One case died due to acute inferior-wall cardiac infarction while three others lost renal functions for vascular thrombosis, ureteral stenosis and urinary fistula. Except for loss of renal function and death, the postoperative estimated golmerular fitration rate was (99.35±21.78), (103.11±29.20) and (114.99±28.55) ml/(min·1.73 m 2) at Year 1/2/3 respectively. Conclusions:Selecting proper recipients, standardizing donor acquisition and surgical procedures and strengthening perioperative managements may expand the donor pool. The overall outcomes are excellent for adult recipients with dual-kidney transplantation from donations after infants' death.

Objective:To explore the diagnosis and treatment of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) post-kidney transplantation in children. Methods:Clinical data were retrospectively analyzed for 6 FSGS children after transplantation from 2015 to 2019. Massive proteinuria (3.2-13 g/24 h) occurred at 4 days-49 days post-transplantation. For proteinuria, glucocorticoid plus therapeutic plasma exchange and/or rituximab were provided with supplemental ACEI/ARB drugs. Five cases received tacrolimus as maintenance therapy while another case had cyclosporin A as an initial intensive therapy and switched to tacrolimus. Results:Four cases achieved complete remission after therapy. One recipient showed partial remission. During a follow up period of 11 months to 4 years, serum creatinine remained normal and stable in five cases while one died from severe pulmonary infection. Conclusions:Once FSGS occurs post-transplantation, prompt treatment of pulse glucocorticoid plus therapeutic plasma exchange and/or rituximab with supplemental ACEI/ARB drugs may yield favorable outcomes.

BACKGROUNDThe domestic prevalence of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) in China is 7.18% in 2006, imposing great societal healthcare burdens. Nucleot(s)ide analogues (NUCs) anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV) therapies are widely applied despite the relatively low rate of seroconversion and high risk of drug-resistant mutation. More effective treatments for CHB deserve further explorations. Combined therapy of NUCs plus Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) is widely accepted in China, which is recognized as a prospective alternative approach. The study was primarily designed to confirm the hypothesis that Tiaogan-Yipi Granule (, TGYP) or Tiaogan-Jianpi-Jiedu Granule (, TGJPJD) plus entecavir tablet (ETV) was superior over ETV monotherapy in enhancing HBeAg loss rate.
METHODSThe study was a nationwide, large-scale, multi-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial with a designed duration of 108 weeks. A total of 16 hospitals and 596 eligible Chinese HBeAg positive CHB patients were enrolled from November 2012 to September 2013 and randomly allocated into 2 groups in 1:1 ratio via central randomization system: experimental group (EG) and control group (CG). Subjects in EG received CM formulae (TGYP or TGJPJD, 50 g per dose, twice daily) plus ETV tablet (or ETV placebo) 0.5 mg per day in the first 24 weeks (stage 1), and CHM granule plus ETV tablet (0.5 mg per day) from week 25 to 108 (stage 2). Subjects in CG received CHM Granule placebo plus ETV tablet (0.5 mg per day) for 108 weeks throughout the trial. The assessments of primary outcomes (HBV serum markers and HBV-DNA) were conducted by a third-party College of American Pathologists (CAP) qualified laboratory. Adverse effects were observed in the hospitals of recruitment.
DISCUSSIONThe study was designed to compare the curative effect of CM plus ETV and ETV monotherapy in respect of HBeAg loss, which is recognized by the European Association for the Study of the Liver as "a valuable endpoint". We believe this trial could provide a reliable status for patients' "journey" towards durable responses after treatment discontinuation. The trial was registered before recruitment on Chinese Clinical trial registry (No. ChiCTR-TRC-12002784, Version 1.0, 2015/12/23).
