Objective This study aims to investigate the selection intention of nursing interns and their influencing fac-tors,providing a scientific basis for nursing human resource management in hospitals and departments. Methods A convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey A questionnaire survey was conducted concerning the selection inten-tion on departments and influencing factors of intern nurses from several tertiary hospitals affiliated to three medical universities from July 2022 to December 2023.General data investigation and self-developed scales were employed, and descriptive analysis,chi-square test and other statistical methods were used to analyze the differences in department selection and related influencing factors among nursing interns. Results Analysis of 652 valid questionnaires revealed that surgery(65.80%)and operating room(38.84%)were the most preferred departments for nursing interns. The primary influencing factors included the working environment and equipment of the department(54.60%),as well as its cohesion and cultural atmosphere(51.53%).Pediat-rics(51.23%)and infectious medicine(48.77%)were found to be less favored by nursing interns.Their main concerns re-volved around work-related risks and population characteristics of patients(67.02%),along with work pressure and labor intensi-ty(65.49%).Epidemic factors have an impact on the attitudes and expectations of nursing interns towards their future practice(P<0.01).Conclusion The choice of departments by nursing interns is influenced by various environmental, societal and personal factors;primarily based on departmental environment quality and team culture atmosphere considerations.During the in-ternship,nursing interns require more professional education guidance from both hospital administration and individual depart-ments in order to make informed career choices and plans.

Objective:To investigate the prenatal ultrasonographic features and diagnosis of 16p12.2 copy number variation (CNV).Methods:This retrospective study recruited seven fetuses with 16p12.2 microdeletion/microduplication in the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from January 2017 to December 2021. Data, including the prenatal diagnostic indications, ultrasound findings, karyotypes, genetic testing and mutation tracing results, pregnancy outcomes, and postnatal follow-up data, were summarized with descriptive statistical analysis. Results:Prenatal ultrasound indicated three fetuses with structural abnormalities, including one case each of multiple malformations, interventricular septal defect, and cleft lip and palate. The other four cases were positive for ultrasonic soft markers involving the heart and kidney. The chromosome karyotypes of the seven fetuses were normal. Single nucleotide polymorphism array (SNP array) results showed that four cases had a 381.7-542.4 kb microdeletion containing three genes ( OTOA, METTL9, and IGSF6) in Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM) at 16p12.2 (distal region) and three cases had a 484.0-701.7 kb microdeletion/microduplication containing four OMIM genes ( UQCRC2, CDR2, EEF2K, and POLR3E) at 16p12.2 (proximal region). Five (cases 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6) out of the seven fetuses inherited the variants from their phenotypically normal mother/father, and among them, three (cases 2, 4, and 5) were delivered at term and healthy. Two cases (cases 3 and 7) refused to undergo pedigree verification. Case 3, a full-term infant, underwent ventricular septal defect repair three months after birth, and no abnormality was found at 18 months of age. Conclusions:No specific phenotype presents in fetuses with 16p12.2 microdeletion/microduplication in prenatal diagnosis. OTOA gene is the key gene associated with abnormality in the distal region of 16p12.2. Pedigree analysis is conducive to preventing unnecessary termination of pregnancy.

The consecutive data of 822 senior public officials in Chengdu undergoing health checkup from 2011 to 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.Among them,56 new cases of diabetes was diagnosed with a cumulative incidence of 6.81%.Fifty six age-and sex-matched healthy subjects served as controls, the risk factors of new-onset diabetes were analyzed with multivariate logistic regression. The results showed that BMI (OR =1.82,95% CI:1.27-2.59,P =0.00) and fasting plasma glucose (OR =13.63,95% CI:2.71-68.43,P =0.00) were independent risk factors of new-onset diabetes in senior public officials.

OBJECTIVETo establish the quality criteria for decoction pieces of salt Alpinia.
METHODDecoction pieces of salt Alpinia were measured with moisture, total ash, acid-insoluble ash, water-extract and volatile oils according to the procedures recorded in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010. The content of Nootkatone was determined by HPLC, and NaCl, by chloridion electrode method.
RESULTWe obtained results of total ash, acid-insoluble ash, water-extract and volatile oils of 10 batches of decoction pieces of salt Alpinia moisture; Meanwhile we set the HPLC and chloridion electrode method.
CONCLUSIONThis research established a fine quality standard for decoction pieces of salt Alpinia.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical character and risk factor of nosocomial lower respiratory tract(infection)(NLRTI) due to Burkholderia cepacia in intensive care units(ICU) and discuss how to control infection.METHODS The clinical data of 37 cases were reviewed and analyzed, and 43 cases with non-B.cepacia NLRTI served as control group.RESULTS The difference in ICU stay time, mechanical ventilation,bronchoscopy,H_2-receptor blocker/antacid,use of antibiotics≥2 kinds and vein catheter between patients with and without B.cepacia(NLRTI) was statistically significant.CONCLUSIONS ICU stay time, mechanical ventilation,bronchoscopy,(H_2-receptor) blocker/antacid,use of antibiotics≥2 kinds and vein catheter are risk factors of B.cepacia NLRTI.Susceptibility of antibiotics to B.cepacia showed multidrug resistance to which should be paid attention in ICU,respiratory tract invasive operation limitation, medical facility sterilization and rational use of antibiotics are very important.

Objective To establish the quality standard for Tiaojing Pills. Methods Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Rhizoma Chuanxiong in Tiaojing Pills were identified by TLC and the content of paeoniflorin was determined by HPLC. Results Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Rhizoma Chuanxiong could be identified by TLC. Paeoniflorin showed a good linearity in the range of 0.086 88~0.868 8 ?g,r=0.999 6.The average recovery was 101.28 %,and RSD was 1.31 %. Conclusion The established methods are simple, convenient and reproducible, and can be used for the quality control of Tiaojing Pills.
