1.Study on the application of modified nest positioning in premature infants
Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2024;30(27):3764-3767
Objective:To explore the application effects of modified nest positioning in premature infants. Methods:Totally 104 premature infants admitted to Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected by convenience sampling. The infants were randomly divided into a control group (52 cases) and an observation group (52 cases) according to a random number table. The control group received conventional nest positioning care, while the observation group received a specially designed modified nest positioning intervention in addition to the care provided to the control group. The vital signs and growth and development of the infants were compared before and after the intervention. Results:After the intervention, the post-intervention respiratory rate and heart rate of premature infants in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the blood oxygen saturation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group ( P<0.05). In addition, the head circumference, length, and weight of premature infants in the observation group were superior to those in the control group after the intervention ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The modified nest positioning intervention has a positive impact on the vital signs and growth and development of premature infants.

We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of single-course initial regimens in patients with low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN). In this trial (NCT01823315), 276 patients were analyzed. Patients were allocated to three initiated regimens: single-course methotrexate (MTX), single-course MTX + dactinomycin (ACTD), and multi-course MTX (control arm). The primary endpoint was the complete remission (CR) rate by initial drug(s). The primary CR rate was 64.4% with multi-course MTX in the control arm. For the single-course MTX arm, the CR rate was 35.8% by one course; it increased to 59.3% after subsequent multi-course MTX, with non-inferiority to the control (difference -5.1%,95% confidence interval (CI) -19.4% to 9.2%, P = 0.014). After further treatment with multi-course ACTD, the CR rate (93.3%) was similar to that of the control (95.2%, P = 0.577). For the single-course MTX + ACTD arm, the CR rate was 46.7% by one course, which increased to 89.1% after subsequent multi-course, with non-inferiority (difference 24.7%, 95% CI 12.8%-36.6%, P < 0.001) to the control. It was similar to the CR rate by MTX and further ACTD in the control arm (89.1% vs. 95.2%, P =0.135). Four patients experienced recurrence, with no death, during the 2-year follow-up. We demonstrated that chemotherapy initiation with single-course MTX may be an alternative regimen for patients with low-risk GTN.

Objective To investigate the expression of Fas antigen (Fas) and ligand (FasL), placental growth factor (PlGF) in placenta of pregnant women with pre-eclampsia. Methods Expressions of Fas, FasL and PlGF of placenta were determined by immunohistological streptavidin-peroxidase-biotin (SP) method and compared between normal late pregnancy (24 cases) and mild pre-eclampsia (24 cases) and severe pre-eclampsia (24 cases) groups. Results Different expression of levels Fas, FasL and PlGF were observed in the trophoblasts of most placentae. Positive immunostain of Fas, FasL and PlGF was mainly located in the cytoplasm and membrane of syncytiotrophoblast. FasL and PlGF expressions (63?4, 81?6 and 42?6, 65?6) were significantly less (P

Objective To establish the GC fingerprint analysis for the quality control of volatile oil in Radix Bupleuri. Methods The GC with capillary column DB-1 (30 m?0.25 mm?0.25 ?m) was used. The column was maintained at 50 ℃ for 5 min after injection then programmed at 3 ℃/min to 170 ℃ and at 5 ℃/min to 230 ℃ which was maintained for 5 min. Gasification temperature: 250 ℃, carrier gas: N_2, flow rate: 1.03 mL/min, inlet volumn: 0.5 ?L, spliting ratio: 10∶1, FID Injector temperature: 250 ℃. The internal standard was [WTBX]n-nonane used to determine 25 batches of Radix Bupleuri from different habitats by GC fingerprint. Results The 25 batches of Radix Bupleuri are classified to be the qualified and unqualified based on the results of cluster and similarity analyses. Conclusion The method is simple and reliable and it is capable of effectively controlling the quality of Radix Bupleuri.
