The prevalence of Class III malocclusion varies among different countries and regions. The populations from Southeast Asian countries (Chinese and Malaysian) showed the highest prevalence rate of 15.8%, which can seriously affect oral function, facial appearance, and mental health. As anterior crossbite tends to worsen with growth, early orthodontic treatment can harness growth potential to normalize maxillofacial development or reduce skeletal malformation severity, thereby reducing the difficulty and shortening the treatment cycle of later-stage treatment. This is beneficial for the physical and mental growth of children. Therefore, early orthodontic treatment for Class III malocclusion is particularly important. Determining the optimal timing for early orthodontic treatment requires a comprehensive assessment of clinical manifestations, dental age, and skeletal age, and can lead to better results with less effort. Currently, standardized treatment guidelines for early orthodontic treatment of Class III malocclusion are lacking. This review provides a comprehensive summary of the etiology, clinical manifestations, classification, and early orthodontic techniques for Class III malocclusion, along with systematic discussions on selecting early treatment plans. The purpose of this expert consensus is to standardize clinical practices and improve the treatment outcomes of Class III malocclusion through early orthodontic treatment.

External apical root resorption is among the most common risks of orthodontic treatment, and it cannot be completely avoided and predicted. Risk factors causing orthodontic root resorption can generally be divided into patient- and treatment-related factors. Root resorption that occurs during orthodontic treatment is usually detected by radiographical examination. Mild or moderate root absorption usually does no obvious harm, but close attention is required. When severe root resorption occurs, it is generally recommended to suspend the treatment for 3 months for the cementum to be restored. To unify the risk factors of orthodontic root resorption and its clinical suggestions, we summarized the theoretical knowledge and clinical experience of more than 20 authoritative experts in orthodontics and related fields in China. After discussion and summarization, this consensus was made to provide reference for orthodontic clinical practice.

OBJECTIVE： To investigate the correlation of ADPRT rs1136410 polymorphism with the occurrence of non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC） in Han nationality from northern Jiangsu. METHODS： A total of 283 patients with primary NSCLC of Han nationality in Northern Jiangsu were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University during Nov. 2015-Dec. 2018 as NSCLC group. A total of 210 healthy subjects underwent physical examination were included in control group. PCR-RFLP was utilized to determine the genotypes at ADPRT rs1136410 locus. Logistic regression model was used to evaluate the effect of polymorphism and its interaction with smoking on the occurrence of NSCLC. RESULTS： There was no statistical significance in age and gender between 2 groups （P＞0.05）. The proportion of smoker in NSCLC group was significantly higher than control group （P＜0.05）. TT， TC and CC genotypes were detected at rs1136410 locus of ADPRT gene. The frequency of TT， TC and CC genotype were 41.9％，44.8％ and 13.3％， and those of allele T and C were 64.3％ and 35.7％ in control group. The frequency of TT， TC and CC genotype were 21.6％， 50.2％ and 28.2％， and those of allele T and C were 46.6％ and 53.4％ in NSCLC group， respectively. The frequencies of genotypes in 2 groups were in accordance with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium （P＞0.05）， while there was significant difference in genotype and allele frequencies between 2 groups （P＜0.05）. Compared with TT genotype， the risk of NSCLC in individuals carrying TC and CC genotypes raised by 1.179， 3.122 folds [ORTC＝2.179， 95％CI （1.435， 3.309）， P＜0.05； ORCC＝4.122，95％CI（2.401，7.075），P＜0.05]. Compared with individuals carrying TT genotype， the risk of NSCLC occurrence in non-smokers carrying TC and CC genotypes increased by 0.371， 1.328 fold [ORTC＝1.371，95％CI （0.927，3.428），P＜0.05； ORCC＝2.328，95％CI （1.249，4.622），P＜0.05]； and the risk of NSCLC occurrence in smokers carrying TC and CC genotypes increased by 0.928， 2.182 folds [ORTC＝1.928，95％CI （1.257，2.957）， P＜0.05；ORCC＝3.182，95％CI （1.760，5.754）， P＜0.05]. CONCLUSIONS： The rs1136410 locus mutant genotype of ADPRT gene is the risk factor of NSCLC in Han nationality from Northern Jiangsu， and smoking raises this risk of NSCLC occurrence in individuals with mutation genotypes of ADPRT rs1136410.

Objective To summarize the clinical outcomes of surgical correction of velophary geal insufficiency (VPI) with two procedures of radical intravelar veloplsties,and to discuss the indication selection of surgical technique.Methods 58 cases of various cleft palate were speech evaluated and diagnosed as mild to moderate VPI,who aged from 3 to 28 years (mean age 7.5 years).Group Ⅰ (36 cases) were performed surgery in the way of modified Furlow double-opposing Z-plasty.Group Ⅱ (22 cases) were performed surgery in the way of Sommerald radical IVV.All cases were followed up for 6 months to 1 year after surgery,with speech evaluation and objective examination of nasopharygoscopy and fixed position lateral X ray.The X-ray images of lateral view of velum was read through PACS image system.The effective work length of soft palate and the pharyngeal gap of the velum at rest and function were measured directly through PACS system.The data of each case before and after surgery were compared.Results 34 of 36 cases (94.50％) in modified-Furlow group and 21 of 22 cases (95.5％) in Sommerlad group finally recovered complete velopharyngeal closure.Compared between before and post operation,the effective work length of soft palate in modified Furlow group increased by 9.50±2.35 mm,the length in Sommerlad group increased by 7.50±3.32 mm.The differences were statistically significant by paired T test (P＜0.001).None of all cases complained nasal airway obstruction.Conclusions Both types of radical IVVs are highly effective to be recommended for surgical correction of mild to moderate VPI.Strict selection of surgical indication and excellent surgical skill are necessary for good treatment outcomes.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of skin diseases in pre-school children aged 0-7 years in cities of China.Methods From November 2014 to April 2015,12 cities were chosen as survey spots,and pre-school children aged 0-7 years served as respondents.A population-based study was conducted,and 40 vaccination clinics and 80 kindergartens were selected by stratified random sampling.A questionnaire survey and dermatological examination were performed by trained dermatologists.Results A total of 20 033 pre-school children received questionnaires,whose age was 2.41 ± 1.82 years (range,0.08-6.83 years).Among these respondents,7 823 children were found to have skin diseases,with the total prevalence of skin diseases being 39.05％ (7 823/20 033).Additionally,the prevalence of skin diseases reported in the 12 cities from high to low was as follows:66.96％ (612/914,Dalian),56.73％ (2 310/4 072,Shanghai),55.49％ (556/1 002,Wuhan),49.18％ (390/793,Taiyuan),47.16％ (316/670,Chengdu),41.93 ％ (566/1 350,Nanjing),41.03％ (318/775,Chongqing),35.98％ (240/667,Hefei),33.87％ (677/1999,Shenzhen),31.37％ (554/1 766,Changsha),23.52％ (1 107/4 706,Beijing),13.42％ (177/1 319,Shenyang).Totally,40 kinds of skin diseases were investigated,and the 10 most common skin diseases were eczema/infantile eczema/atopic dermatitis (18.71％,3 749/20 033),ichthyosis vulgaris(6.25％,1 253/20 033),lichen pilaris (5.73％,1 148/20 033),diaper dermatitis (5.29％,1 059/20 033),papular urticaria(5.25％,1 052/20 033),hemangioma/vascular malformation (3.86％,774/20 033),pityriasis alba (3.45％,691/20 033),infectious skin diseases (2.59％,519/20 033),urticaria(1.71％,344/20 033)and contact dermatitis (0.5％,100/20 033).Conclusion The total prevalence of skin diseases among pre-school children in cities of China is 39.05％,and eczema/atopic dermatitis is the most common skin disease.

Objective To explore the effects of Living with Hope Program(LWHP) on family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods Totally 60 family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group received LWHP intervention and routine care knowledge education,the control group only received routine care knowledge education.Hope,self-efficacy,anxiety and depression,and quality of life were evaluated at the first week,the second week,the first month,and the third month.Differences between two groups were compared using variance analysis of repeated measurements.Results The self-evaluation of the intervention was 76.6％,and the main effects of hope level,selfefficacy,anxiety and depression,and mental health were statistically significant (P＜0.05);the time effect on hope level and self-efficacy were statistically significant (P＜0.05);there were interaction effects between intervention and time on hope level,self-efficacy,anxiety and depression,and mental health (P＜0.05).Conclusion LWHP can effectively improve hope level,self-efficacy and mental health status,and alleviate anxiety and depression of family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer.

Objectives: To explore weather oxygen uptake efficiency slope (OUES) may predict the prognosis in patients with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH). Methods: The consecutive newly diagnosed IPAH patients in our hospital from 2010-11 to 2015-06 were prospectively enrolled and regular follow-up study was conducted to record cardiovascular events (death and lung transplantation). Kaplan–Meier curve, uni- and multivariate Cox regression analysis were performed to assess the survival rate in relevant patients. Results: A total of 210 IPAH patients at the mean age of (32±10) years were finished cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) and received regular follow-up study including 159 female. There were 31 patients died and 1 received lung transplantation over 41 months follow-up period. OUES was positively related to peak oxygen uptake (VO2)/body weight (r=0.71, P<0.0001). Multivariate analysis demonstrated that OUESI and NT-proBNP could independently predict the prognosis of IPAH patients. The 5-year survival rate in patients with OUESI≤0.52 L/(min?m2) was lower than those with OUESI>0.52 L/(min?m2) (41.9% vs 89.8%), P<0.0001.Conclusion: OUES as a submaximal CPET parameter may well predict the prognosis in IPAH patients.

Objective: To evaluate cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) on sildenaifl effect for treating the patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Methods: A total of 25 PAH patients received sildenaifl treatment in our hospital from 2012-01 to 2014-01 were enrolled as PAH group, in addition, there were a Control group including 24 healthy subjects. The CPET, echocardiography, NYHA function class, 6-mimute walking distance (6MWD) and plasma levels of NT-proBNP at the baseline, (6-12) months and (13-18) months after sildenaifl treatment were assessed and compared between 2 groups. Results: Compared with Control group, PAH group showed decreased aerobic capacity (peakVO?2, Peak O2pulse) and ventilation efifciency (PETCO2@AT, VE?/VC?O2@AT), allP<0.05. At (8±2) months after sildenaifl treatment, aerobic capacity and ventilation efifciency was improved, meanwhile, NYHA function class, 6MWD and plasma levels of NT-proBNP were improved, allP<0.05. At (16±2) months after sildenaifl treatment, 6MWD was similar,P=0.26, while peak VO?2 and peak O2 pulse were decreased than they were at (8±2) months after sildenaifl treatment,P=0.04 and 0.06; the ventilation efifciency was elevated (as presented by increased VE?/VC?O2@AT and decreased PETCO2@AT,P=0.04 and P=0.04); plasma level of NT-proBNP was increased,P=0.05. Conclusion: CPET can effectively evaluate sildenaifl effect for treating PAH patients and therefore and guide the drugs therapy.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of early-stage keep warm intervention on improving low temperature risk children treated with blood purification (BP). Methods Ninety children were randomized into observation group (46 cases) and control group of (44 cases) from July 2013 to September 2015. Control group were nursed with conventional BP standard operation process, while the observation group were nursed additionally with heat insulation blanket before 30 min of booting machine, and recorded the central body temperature of 0 min,30 min,60 min,90 min,120 min for each 60 min 1 time in the future. Until the end of the blood purification 60 min. Low temperature complications were recorded and judged between the two groups. Results In the observation group, 107 cases of low body temperature occurred during the course of 7 cases of blood purification, occurrence rate of 6.5% (7/107). The control group was 15.8% (16/101). The difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (χ2=4.569,P<0.05);In the continuous blood purification group, observation group 10.6% (5/47), The incidence rate of control group was 29.3% (12/41), he difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (χ2=4.876,P<0.05). Conclusions Application of heat insulation blanket at the early-stage may effectively reduce the risk of hypothermia complications in the children treated with blood purification. The continuous blood purification effect is more significant.

OBJECTIVE： The compound nucleic acid granules were prepared， observed for their therapeutic effects， and determined for their pharmacological actions METHODS： Quality control was used in their preparation The therapeutic effects were observed on 22 patients with coronary heart disease of stable angina pectoris with hyperlipemia who were chosen according to clinical diagnosis standard RESULTS： （ 1） Improvment of clinical symptoms for angina pectoris： satisfactory 22 7％ ， improved 68 2％ ， failure 9 0％ ； （ 2） Blood lipid analysis： cholesterols and triglycerides were improved significantly after administration of the preparation（ P0.05;P<0.01).CONCLUSION:The compound nucleic acid granules have marked effects on coronary heart disease, angina pectoris and hyperlipemia.
