Plantar fasciitis(PF)is a primary cause of heel pain(HP).Platelet-rich plasma(PRP),as an emerging biological treatment method,possesses unique biological characteristics,showing significant dual therapeutic advantages in suppressing inflammation and promoting tissue repair.This article reviews the pathogenesis of PF,the biological characteristics of PRP and its application in pain management and functional prognosis assessment of PF,particularly focusing on PRP in improving plantar fascia thickness(PFT).

This study investigated the types and distribution of rodents,and the infection status of eight pathogens in the high-altitude areas of western Sichuan,to provide a basis for control of rodent-borne diseases and pathogen surveillance in rodents in the area.From August to November of 2023,rodents were captured through the night method in high-altitude areas of western Sichuan.Nucleic acids were collected from the rodents'livers and lungs,and eight important pathogens were detected:Dabie bandavirus,Han-tavirus,Bartonella,Francisella tularensis,Anaplasma phagocytophilum,Rickettsia mooseri,Orientia tsutsugamushi,and Leptospira interrogans.The chi-square test was used to compare the composition ratios of rodent species and the difference in pathogen positivity rates among groups.A total of 114 rodents of nine species were captured.The dominant species in this area were Apodemus agrarius(22.81%),Apodemus chevrieri(18.42%),Niviventer confucianus(17.54%),Apodemus latronum(16.67%),and Apodemus peninsu-lae(13.16%).Other rodent species included Rattus nitidus(4.39%),Neodon irene(4.39%),Chodsigoa hypsibia(1.75%),and Nivi-venter excelsior(0.88%).Statistically significant differences in rodent species composition were observed among regions,altitudes,and habitats(χ2Region=112.358,P<0.05;χ2Altitude=96.843,P<0.05;χ2Habitat=48.842,P<0.05).The liver and lung pathogen results showed that the positivity rate of Bartonella was highest(29/114),whereas those of the other seven pathogens were 0%-4.39%.Five rodents were co-infected with two or more pathogens,and the composite positivity rate was 4.36%(5/114).Statistically significant differences in the positivity rates were observed for Leptospira interrogans among species(χ2=6.568,P=0.028)and Anaplasma phagocytophilum among habitats(χ2=7.596,P=0.027);however,no significant differences in the positivity rates of other pathogens were found among rodent species,regions,altitudes,habitats,and sexes(P>0.05).Thus,rodent species were abundant in the high-altitude areas of western Sichuan and carried a variety of pathogens.Multiple pathogens showed compound infections,among which the positivity rate of Bartonella was relatively high.The total infection rate of pathogens in living areas was relatively high,and the risk of pathogenesis to the population is greater.Therefore,rodent control and disease monitoring efforts should be strengthened.

Objective To explore the values of peripheral blood inflammatory parameters in predicting the efficacy of immunotherapy and prognosis after immunotherapy in patients with proficient mismatch repair(pMMR)metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC).Methods The clinical data of 44 inoperable pMMR mCRC patients who received immunotherapy in Zhongshan Hospital(Xiamen Branch),Fudan University from February 2019 to February 2024 were analyzed retrospectively.The pre-treatment peripheral blood inflammatory parameters such as neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),pan-immune-inflammation value(PIV)and systemic immune-inflammation index(SⅡ)were collected.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were drawn to evaluate the predictive value of inflammatory parameters on the efficacy of immunotherapy.The effects of inflammatory parameters on the prognosis after immunotherapy were evaluated according to the optimal cutoff value obtained by ROC curves.Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard models were used to analyze the risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with pMMR mCRC.Results NLR,PLR,PIV and SⅡ had some predictive values on the efficacy of immunotherapy in inoperable pMMR mCRC patients,and SⅡ was superior to NLR,PLR and PIV.Compared with NLR≥3.36 group,PLR ≥223.54 group and SⅡ≥769.29 group,the disease control rate(DCR)after immunotherapy was higher in the NLR＜3.36 group,PLR＜223.54 group and SⅡ＜769.29 group(P＜0.01);the progression-free survival(PFS)was longer in the NLR＜3.36 group and SⅡ＜769.29 group(P＜0.05),and the overall survival(OS)was longer in the NLR＜3.36 group,PLR＜223.54 group and SⅡ＜769.29 group(P＜0.05).The univariate analysis showed that Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Performance Status(ECOG PS)score,NLR and SⅡ were risk factors for the PFS of patients after immunotherapy;the liver metastasis,bone metastasis,NLR,PLR and SⅡ were risk factors for the OS of patients after immunotherapy(P＜0.05).The multivariate Cox proportional risk model analysis showed that SⅡ≥769.29 was an independent risk factor for the prognosis of pMMR mCRC patients after immunotherapy(P＜0.001).Conclusions Peripheral blood NLR,PLR,PIV and SⅡ could predict the efficacy of immunotherapy in pMMR mCRC patients and SⅡ is superior to NLR,PLR and PIV,and SⅡ≥ 769.29 has independent predictive value for poor prognosis in pMMR mCRC patients receiving immunotherapy.

Objective To explore the effects of Living with Hope Program(LWHP) on family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods Totally 60 family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group received LWHP intervention and routine care knowledge education,the control group only received routine care knowledge education.Hope,self-efficacy,anxiety and depression,and quality of life were evaluated at the first week,the second week,the first month,and the third month.Differences between two groups were compared using variance analysis of repeated measurements.Results The self-evaluation of the intervention was 76.6％,and the main effects of hope level,selfefficacy,anxiety and depression,and mental health were statistically significant (P＜0.05);the time effect on hope level and self-efficacy were statistically significant (P＜0.05);there were interaction effects between intervention and time on hope level,self-efficacy,anxiety and depression,and mental health (P＜0.05).Conclusion LWHP can effectively improve hope level,self-efficacy and mental health status,and alleviate anxiety and depression of family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer.

This article first elaborates the connotation of research integrity,and analyzes the causes of the problems,then enumerates the typical examples of research misconduct.Based on those analyses,we explored possible solutions to prevent such problems.Relevant departments should consummate relevant law and regulations to improve the system,to avoid the emergence of research integrity problems,guarantee high quality of research.

Objective To determine the principle of applying lysogenicity in Phage-Biotyping Scheme developed for the subtyping of O1 E1 Tor Vibrio cholerae strains.Methods 118 V.cholerae strains including 76 E1 Tor strains,8 classical strains and 34 serogroup O139 were selected to analyze the lysogenicity and sensitivity to lysogenic phage 919TP as described in the Manuals of cholera prevention and control,the genes of this phage were also determined among the genome sequences of these strains and the phages produced by them.Results All O1 E1Tor Vibrio cholerae 19 strains that produced positive results in lysogenicity,had the lysogenic K139 phage in genome and could both resist to lysogenic phage 919TP and release the K139 family phage.All the O1 E1Tor Vibrio cholerae 22 strains that produced positive results in sensitivity to the lysogenic phage,had no K139 family phage genes and got negative results in lysogenicity.However,the phages of this family were not released from 6 classical strains with positive lysogenicity result.Five serogroup O139 strains were detected releasing temperate phages K139 without the sensitivity to phage 919TP.Conclusions Applying the lysogenicity in Phage-Biotyping Scheme for subtyping O1 E1 Tor Vibrio cholerae strains is based on the ability to produce lysogenic bacteriophage K139.The index of "sensitivity to the lysogenic phage" was also associated with this ability.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Lornoxicam for injection and to study its stability.METHODS:The formular and pre paration technology of Lornoxicam for injection was optimized with the index of contents,the related substances and pH value;3batches of samples'stability was investigated.RESULTS:The best formula was found to be the following:4.0g of lornoxicam,4.0g of propylene glycol,100g of mannitol and sufficient quantum of1mol/L caustic soda,3batches of sample preparations man ufactured under this formula were found to be stable in quality in the accelerated,room temperature storage test under the condition of commercial packing.CONCLUSION:The formula design was reasonable and the preparation technology was feasible.

Objective To clone a stage-specific novel cDNA from 5 day-old adult worm (ADS) of Trichinella spiralis. Methods The cDNA library of AD5 was screened by an AD5 stage-specific cDNA probe labeled with digoxigenin (DIG). The positive clones were sequenced and analysed. Results The positive clone contained a cDNA insert of 1 132 bp in length with a full length open reading frame (ORF) of 1 032 bp. The cDNA encoded a polypeptide of 343 amino acid residues(aa) with a molecular weight of 35.1 kDa and an isoelectric point (IP) of 4.8. InterProScan analysis showed that the 117 - 120 aa (SGYG) was a glycosaminoglycan attachment site, 27- 86 aa was nematode cuticle collagen N-terminal domain and 153-228 aa was collagen repeat (G-x-y) domain. Signal PV2.0 analysis indicated that the region of 1-43 aa was a singal peptide. Blastn homology analysis in Genbank revealed that the cDNA had no obvious homology to any other known gene sequence. Blastp analysis revealed high homology to cuticle collagen with identities more than 40 % . Conclusion A novel ADS stage-specific cDNA encoding a full length ORF was cloned and sequence analysis showed this gene encoded cuticle collagen of Trichinella spiralis.
