ObjectiveTo establish an objective evaluation system based on the quality characteristics of Gardeniae Fructus without relying on the origin label according to the theory of excellent shape, high quality, and superior effect of authentic medicinal materials, thus providing a scientific basis for the standardization of Gardeniae Fructus. MethodsDifferent batches of Gardeniae Fructus samples were collected from different producing areas. Through herbal textual research and a review of modern literature, fruit length, maximum fruit diameter, and chroma were selected as quantitative indicators to characterize the traditional appearance traits of Gardeniae Fructus. The above indicators were measured by a vernier caliper and a spectrophotometer. Through classical famous prescription data and literature analysis, total iridoid glycosides, total crocus glycosides, and total flavonoids were selected as the core component indicators related to efficacy, and their content was determined. Finally, through cluster analysis, the threshold ranges of the quantitative indicators of excellent shape and high quality were determined, and the applicability of the established evaluation system was verified by the determination of the indicators for each batch of medicinal materials. ResultsThe excellent shape indicators of Gardeniae Fructus were the fruit length-to-maximum fruit diameter ratio ≤1.86, 0°≤h≤45°, and L*≥ 37.32. The content of total iridoid glycosides, total crocus glycosides, and total flavonoids should be no less than 2.2%, 0.44%, and 0.028%, respectively. The measurement results of different batches of Gardeniae Fructus showed that the evaluation system could effectively distinguish the Gardeniae Fructus samples in line with the traditional cognition of excellent shape and high quality. ConclusionThis study preliminarily constructs an excellent shape and high quality-based quality evaluation system for Gardeniae Fructus, which links appearance traits with chemical indicators and provides a methodological basis for the quality control and scientific grading of this herbal medicine.

Objective:To explore the propaganda methods and propagation path of advertising media cosmetology publicity in accordance with public demand and ethical principles, through understanding college students' acceptance level for advertising media cosmetology publicity and its influence on their choice forcosmetic ways. Methods:With the method of stratified cluster sampling,an anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted among 210 college students in a university in Shaanxi province. Results:The Internet has become the main way for college students to acquire cosmetology knowledge.A total of 44.7 % of the students thought most of the media cosmetology publicity was unbelievable,46.5% of the students thought that advertising media publicity mainly considered the interests of the beauty institution,72.9% of the students would not consider the beauty institution the media recommended,62.4% of the students would choose regular public hospitals,56.3% of the students would give up the idea of cosmetology due to the news of cosmetic failure,42.2% of the students could accept minimally invasive plastic surgery, and 68.5 % of the students expected to acquire the cosmetology knowledge through expert consultation.Concltusion:At current, the credibility of media cosmetology publicity is not optimistic enough. It should further strengthen the supervision for media cosmetology publicity.Cosmetology advertising media should construct the publicity mode based on ethics, law, governance, occupation, public welfare and social responsibility.

Objective To study the protective effect of erythropoietin (EPO) on brain tissue with cardiac arrest-cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CA-CPR) and its mechanism. Methods 120 male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into three groups (each n =40),namely:sham group, routine chest compression group, and conventional chest compression + EPO group (EPO group). The rats in each group were subdivided into CA and 6,12,24,48 hours after restoration of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) five subgroups (each n =8).The model of CA was reproduced according to the Hendrickx classical asphyxia method followed by routine chest compression, and the rats in sham group only underwent anesthesia, tracheostomy intubation and venous-puncture without asphyxia and CPR.The rats in EPO group were given the routine chest compression + EPO 5 kU/kg (2 mL/kg) after CA.Blood sample was collected at different time points of intervention for the determination the content of serum S100 β protein by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).All the rats were sacrificed at the corresponding time points, and the hippocampus was harvested for the calculation of the number of S100 β protein positive cells, and to examine the pathological changes and their scores at 24 hours after ROSC by light microscopy. Results With prolongation of ROSC time, the serum levels of S100 β protein (μg/L) in the routine chose compression group and the EPO group were significantly elevated, peaking at 24 hours (compared with CA:305.7 ± 29.2 vs.44.4 ± 6.2 in routine chest compression group, and 276.7±28.9 vs.44.7±5.6 in the EPO group, both P < 0.05),followed by a fall. The levels of S100β protein at each time point after ROSC in EPO group were significanthy lower than those of the routine chest compression group (83.2 ± 7.5 vs.114.3 ± 15.3 at 6 hours,123.9 ± 20.2 vs.184.9 ± 22.2 at 12 hours,276.7 ± 28.9 vs.305.7 ± 29.2 at 24 hours,256.3 ± 26.6 vs.283.2 ± 23.6 at 48 hours, all P < 0.05).With the prolongation of ROSC time, the S100 β protein positive cell number in brain (cells/HP) in the routine chest compression group and the EPO group was significantly increased, peaking at 24 hours (compared with CA:14.3±2.2 vs.6.7±0.7 in the routine chest compression group,11.3± 1.3 vs.6.8±0.9 in the EPO group, both P < 0.05),then it began to fall. The S100 β protein positive cell number in brain at each time point after ROSC in the EPO group was significantly lower than that of the routine chest compression group (7.0±0.9 vs.7.9± 1.9 at6 hours,8.4± 1.1 vs.10.2±2.2 at 12 hours,11.3± 1.3 vs.14.3±2.2 at24 hours,8.3±0.8 vs.10.8±2.0 at48 hours, all P < 0.05).Under the light microscope,a serious brain cortex injury was found after reproduction of the model, and the degree of injury was reduced after EPO intervention. The pathological score at 24 hours after ROSC in EPO group was lower than that of routine chest compression group (3.83±0.73 vs.4.17±0.75,P < 0.05).Conclusions The S100β protein level in serum and brain tissue was increased early in asphyxia CA-CPR rats.EPO intervention can reduce the expression of S100 protein and reduce the degree of brain injury.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of continuing care in facial plastic operation .Method:Select 120 patients who had aesthetic plastic surgery in our hospital during the period from January to July in 2014 and ran-domize them into the observation group (60 cases)and the control group (60 cases). The control group merely re-ceive conventional treatment .The observation group is employed continuing care based on conventional treatment . Results:The satisfaction of two groups has no significant difference a week after operation (P>0.05).Six months after operation , the satisfaction of the observation group is obviously higher than that of the control group .The difference is statistically different ( P<0 .0001 ) .The anxiety level of the observation group is obvious lower than that of the control group and the difference is Statisticallydifferent ( P<0 .0001 ) .Conclusion: Based on the hu-manistic care, carry on the continuing care could considerately improve the satisfaction of patients in clinic facial plastic surgery and is one of the most important solution of preventing medical disputes ;mean while , it is also one of the most effective stress reduction measures which makes the patients feel humanized nursing .
