Guided by the development of new medical science proposed by Ministry of Education and the "Education and Training Plan for Excellent Doctors 2.0", shifted from treatment-oriented to whole life-health cycle, we have explored curriculum ideological and political education in metabolic-related curriculum chain. Firstly, we constructed a core teaching team and had the training of curriculum ideological and political education. The top-level design was made with the integration of moral education into medical education. Secondly, the syllabus was comprehensively revised, containing the connotation of "morality education". The elements relevant to curriculum ideological and political education hidden behind professional courses were excavated. Finally, the mixed teaching mode of online combining with offline was carried out. Metabolism-related curriculum chain, focused on "metabolism, diabetes, obesity and patient education", formed a progressive link from basic medical science to practice to clinical, strengthening the "prevention, treatment and health care" based "one health" philosophy and giving full play to the implicit curriculum ideological and political education hidden behind professional courses. Our practice shows that the implementation of curriculum ideological and political education in metabolism-related curriculum has been accepted by students, and curriculum ideological and political education has been become part of professional courses. The "gene chimera" mode for curriculum ideological and political education incorporation into professional courses needs to be infiltrated imperceptibly, and the effect will be visualized in the future.

【Objective】 To track and evaluate the clinical diagnostic efficacy of an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). 【Methods】 Total antibody (TAb) specific to SARS-CoV-2 in blood donors were determined using ELISA reagent. TAb positive donors were followed up 1 month after blood donation. SARS-CoV-2 specific IgG, IgM and pseudotype lentivirus based neutralization test (ppNAT) were conducted for TAb positive blood donors and follow-up samples. ppNAT and IgG antibodies simultaneously positive in ppNAT positive samples and its follow-up samples was used as the standard for antibodies validation. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), accuracy and Youden index of SARS-CoV-2 TAb ELISA were analyzed. 【Results】 Among 16 016 blood donors from January 31 to April 28, 2020, 61 donors were diagnosed as TAb positive, 6 cases were positive for ppNAT, in which 2 were positive for both ppNAT and IgG; 4 of 46 TAb positive follow-up samples were positive for ppNAT, in which 2 were positive for IgG simultaneously. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, accuracy, Youden index, false positive rate and false negative rate of SARS-CoV-2 TAb reagent were 100.00%, 99.60%, 3.28%, 100.00%, 99.60%, 99.60%, 0.40% and 0.00%, respectively. 【Conclusion】 SARS-CoV-2 TAb ELISA has high sensitivity and good clinical diagnostic efficacy, but the false positive rate is relatively high in low-risk blood donors. Therefore, ppNAT, IgG and follow-up results should be fully considered in clinical in order to analyze the positive results and determine the infection status more accurately.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2019;52(11):912-918
Objective:
To explore the association among clinical features, electromyography (EMG) and magnetic resonance neurography (MRN) in patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP).
Methods:
A cross-sectional survey was conducted to enroll consecutively typical CIDP patients in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from May 2017 to May 2019. The Hughes Disability Scale (HDS) was used to evaluate the illness severity of the patients. The electrodiagnostic parameters including motor conduction velocity (MCV), compound muscle action potential (CMAP), F-wave latency, sensory nerve conduction velocity (SCV) and sensory nerve action potential (SNAP) of upper and lower limbs were analyzed. The patients whose response waveform can be elicited in all nerves were defined as group A, and those without response in one or more nerves as group B. MRN quantitative technique was used to calculate the cross-sectional area of nerves roots (nr-CSA) of brachial plexus and lumbosacral plexus. The linear regression method was used to analyze the correlation among clinical features, EMG and nr-CSA.
Results:
A total of 32 patients with typical CIDP met the criteria, 75% (24/32) of whom were males. There were 16 patients in the mild group (group A) and 16 in the severe one (group B). The abnormal rate of F-wave latency was the highest. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) protein, HDS score were correlated significantly with the nr-CSA of brachial plexus and lumbosacral plexus in the two groups (group A: CSF protein and brachial plexus nr-CSA:
