Objective This study conducted molecular biological identification of the viruses carried by Culex pipiens pallens specimens collected in Shunyi District, Beijing in 2023, and observed the changes in the infection rate of the viruses carried by Cx. pipiens pallens at different collection times. Methods Cx. pipiens pallens were collected using carbon dioxide mosquito traps. The mosquito samples were ground in batches and analyzed by molecular biology technologies. The virus infection rate at different collection times was analyzed statistically. Results 17 strains of Culex pipiens pallens densovirus(CppDNV)were identified from Cx. pipiens pallens samples collected in Shunyi District, Beijing, in 2023. The nucleotide sequence analysis of the virus genome coding region showed that CppDNV was a single-stranded DNA virus with a total length of 3 335 nt, encoding 2 non-structural proteins(NS1, NS2)and 1 capsid protein(VP). The nucleotide(amino acid)sequence lengths of the three proteins were 2 376 nt(791 aa),1 092 nt(363 aa)and 1 071 nt(356 aa), respectively. Phylogenetic analysis showed that CppDNV was located in genus Brevihamaparvovirus. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference in infection rates across collection times(χ2=4.429, P=0.194). Conclusions CppDNV was identified in Cx. pipiens pallens in Beijing, and it was stably maintained in this natural population.

Objective To investigate the expression of arginase Ⅱ(ArgⅡ)in kidney tissue of rats with diabetic nephropathy(DN)and its significance in the development of DN.Methods A total of 10 male SD rats were randomly divided into the control group and the model group,with 5 rats in each group.An rat model of DN was developed by feeding with high-sugar and high-fat diet combined with intra-peritoneal injection of low-dose streptozotocin(45 mg/kg),and they were sacrificed after 11 weeks of continued feeding.The body weight,and biochemical indexes of blood and urine of rats were determined.The right kidney was weighed and histopathological examination was performed.The pathological changes of kidney tissues and protein expression of ArgⅡ and CD68+were observed,and the immunofluores-cence double staining was used to observe the distribution and expression of ArgⅡand a marker of renal macrophage activation CD68+;the protein expression of ArgⅡ,NF-κB,TNF-α and IL-6 in kidney tissues was determined by Western blot.Results Compared with the control group,the ratio of kidney weight to body weight,24-hour urine volume,24-hour urine protein,fasting blood glucose,urea nitrogen and insulin level in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.05).The renal histopathology showed that the mesangial cells of the renal glomerular were necrotic with vascular dilatation,and the renal tubular epithelial cells were steatosis and congestion.Compared with the control group,the protein expression of ArgⅡ,CD68+,NF-κB,TNF-α and IL-6 in the kidney tissues of the model group were significantly increased(P<0.05).Immunofluorescence double staining demonstrated the co-expression of ArgⅡ and CD68+in renal tissue,and the fluorescence intensities of both ArgⅡ and CD68+in the model group were significantly stronger than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The expression of ArgⅡ is increased in DN,which may be participated in the occurrence of inflammatory lesions in DN.

Objective:To study genotype analysis and influence factors analysis of hepatitis B virus(HBV)deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)positive samples of negative hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)donors in blood donors without compensation in Nan'an area.Methods:A total of 62,000 HBsAg fast-screened blood donor samples from January 2021 to June 2024 were selected as the study objects.HBV infection,viral load and genotype of HBV DNA positive samples,single factor and influencing factor of HBV DNA positive samples were detected and analyzed.Results:Among the 62000 HBsAg fast-screened blood donor samples,the results were negative by HBsAg screening,moreover,285 cases(0.46％)were HBsAg positive and 61715 cases(99.54％)were negative.NAT positive 180 cases and 118 cases were positive for HBV DNA.The HBV DNA positive rate of HBsAg negative donors was 0.19％(118/62000).HBV DNA of the viral load of positive specimens with＜20 IU/mL was higher than those with 20 to 99 IU/mL and ≥ 100 IU/mL(P＜0.05).HBV DNA of C style of the genotype of positive specimens was higher than B style and unsamples(P＜0.05).Univariate analysis found that HBV DNA positivity was mainly related to the history of intravenous drug use and risky sexual behavior,as well as the history of hepatitis B vaccination and blood transfusion(P＜0.05).According to the Logistic regression analysis,history of intravenous drug use and risky sexual behavior,and blood transfusion were risk factors for positive HBV DNA(OR＞1,P＜0.05),vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine was a protective factor for HBV DNA positivity(OR＜1,P＜0.05).Conclusion:The proportion of HBsAg in Nan'an area is relatively high,but there are still a small number of positive samples,the main genotype was type C,and history of intravenous drug use and risky risk behaviors,as well as history of blood transfusion were all risk factors for positive HBV DNA,vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine is protective factor for HBV DNA positivity.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between Ig class switch recombination(CSR)and mismatch repair(MMR)protein,microsatellite phenotype in extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT lymphoma).Methods:Forty cases of MALT lymphoma archived in the Department of Pathology,Jiading District Central Hospital,Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences were selected as the observation group,and twenty cases of benign lymphoid tissue hyperplasia were as the control group.The expressions of IgG,IgM,IgD,and IgA in both groups were detected by immunohistochemical double staining,and MMR proteins including MLH1,MSH2,MSH6,and PMS2 in both groups were detected by immunohistochemistry.Multiplex fluorescence PCR capillary electrophoresis was used to detect microsatellite phenotype in tumor and adjacent tissues of the experimental group.Results:In the observation group,the proportions of single Ig heavy chain expression(mode Ⅰ),negative expression(mode Ⅱ),and multiple expression(mode Ⅲ)were 65％(26/40),27.5％(11/40),and 7.5％(3/40),respectively,while in the control group were 0(0/20),5％(1/20),and 95％(19/20).The proportion of Ig heavy chain expression mode Ⅰ+Ⅱ in the observation group was 92.5％,which was significantly higher than 5％in the control group(P＜0.0 1).In the observation group,partial deletion of MMR protein was observed in 3 cases(7.5％),including 2 cases of MSH6 deletion and 1 case of both MSH6 and PMS2 deletion.In the control group,there was 1 case(5％)with PMS2 deletion.There was no significant difference in the deletion rate of MMR protein between the two groups(P＞0.05).A total of 5 cases of microsatellite instability(MSI)were detected in the observation group,including 1 case of low-frequency MSI(MSI-L),4 cases of high-frequency MSI(MSI-H),and 2 cases of MSI-H with MSH6 deletion.When the loss expression of MSI-H or MMR protein was counted as a positive result,the MSI-H rate detected by PCR capillary electrophoresis was 10％(4/40),which was slightly higher than the MMR protein deletion rate detected by immunohistochemistry(7.5％,3/40),but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).The MMR protein deletion rates among the Ig heavy chain protein expression mode Ⅰ,mode Ⅱ,and mode Ⅲ groups were 0(0/26),18.2％(2/11),and 33.3％(1/3),respectively.There was a statistically significant difference in the constituent ratios among the three groups(P＜0.05).The MMR protein deletion rates among the MSS,MSI-L,and MSI-H groups were 2.9％(1/35),0(0/1),and 50％(2/4),respectively.There was a statistically significant difference in the constituent ratios among the three groups(P＜0.05).MMR protein deficiency was positively correlated with Ig heavy chain expression pattern and MSI(r=0.41,P＜0.05;r=0.48,P＜0.05),but Ig heavy chain expression pattern was not correlated with MSI(r=0.02,P＞0.05).Conclusion:Ig heavy chain CSR detection is helpful for the differential diagnosis of MALT lymphoma.Low frequency MMR protein deletion and MSI-H phenotype exist in MALT lymphoma,which may be of certain value for the study of its occurrence,development and clinical treatment.

Using surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy in conjunction with electrochemical techniques,this study investigates the origins of variations in electrocatalytic activity of 4-nitrothiophenol(4-NTP)under the influence of three cations:Li+,Na+,and tetramethylammonium(TMA+).The findings highlight the significant impact of specific interactions between cations and the electrode surface on electrocatalytic activity.By constructing vibrational Stark spectra,the study reveals the impact of cations on the structure of the electric double layer and the interfacial electric field.Further spectroscopic and electrochemical characterizations demonstrate that differences in the hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of cations influence their specific interactions with the interface.Notably,TMA+,through specific interactions,acts as a mediator for charge transfer,effectively reducing the charge transfer resistance of the system and thereby enhancing electrocatalytic activity to some extent.These results elucidate the influence of specific cation/interface interactions and cation properties on electrocatalytic reactions,contributing to a deeper understanding of cation effects at electrochemical charged interfaces.

MECT is recognized for its therapeutic efficacy and clinical safety, rendering it one of the most prevalent interventions in psychiatric care. To enhance clinical outcomes and minimize adverse effects, this consensus document delineates the indications, therapeutic parameters, therapeutic procedures, potential adverse effects, and associated management strategies for MECT. These guidelines are informed by the latest clinical research and expert consensus, integrating evidence-based medicine methodologies. The objective is to furnish clinicians with precise operational guidelines and to advance the standardization of MECT practices in clinical settings.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by social impairments, repetitive behaviors, and restricted interests. Studies have shown that it is more prevalent in males than females. Although this issue has attracted academic attention since the 20th century, the specific mechanisms underlying the gender differences in ASD remain unclear. This paper reviews the impact of gender differences in ASD, focusing on the female protective effect, DNA methylation, hormone levels, and clinical manifestations. It also discusses corresponding treatment options, particularly suggesting improvements in the diagnostic process, which is often overlooked, in order to provide valuable references for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of ASD.
