Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and influencing factors of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) in Zhejiang Province from 2019 to 2023, so as to provide the reference for strengthening SFTS prevention and control. Methods: Data on laboratory-confirmed SFTS cases in Zhejiang Province from 2019 to 2023 were collected through the Infectious Disease Reporting Information System of Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System. Meteorological data, geographic environment and socioeconomic factors during the same period were collected from the fifth-generation European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, Geospatial Data Cloud, and Zhejiang Statistical Yearbook, respectively. Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of SFTS from 2019 to 2023, and a Bayesian spatio-temporal model was constructed to analyze the influencing factors of SFTS incidence. Results: A total of 578 SFTS cases were reported in Zhejiang Province from 2019 to 2023, with an annual average incidence of 0.23/105. The peak period was from May to July, accounting for 52.60%. There were 309 males and 269 females, with a male-to-female ratio of 1.15∶1. The cases were mainly aged 50-<80 years, farmers, and in rural areas, accounting for 82.53%, 77.34%, and 75.43%, respectively. Taizhou City and Shaoxing City reported more SFTS cases, while Shaoxing City and Zhoushan City had higher annual average incidences of SFTS. The Bayesian spatio-temporal interaction model showed good goodness of fit. The results showed that mean temperature (RR=1.626, 95%CI: 1.111-2.378) and mean wind speed (RR=1.814, 95%CI: 1.321-2.492) were positively correlated with SFTS risk, while altitude (RR=0.432, 95%CI: 0.230-0.829) and population density (RR=0.443, 95%CI: 0.207-0.964) were negatively correlated with SFTS risk. Conclusions SFTS in Zhejiang Province peaks from May to July. Middle-aged and elderly people and farmers are high-risk populations. Taizhou City, Shaoxing City, and Zhoushan City are high-incidence areas. Mean temperature, mean wind speed, altitude, and population density can all affect the risk of SFTS incidence.

Childhood simple obesity has become a significant public health issue in China. Modern medicine primarily relies on lifestyle interventions and often suffers from poor long-term compliance， while pharmacological options are limited and associated with potential adverse effects. Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） has a long history in the prevention and management of this condition， demonstrating eight distinct advantages， including systematic theoretical foundation， diversified therapeutic approaches， definite therapeutic efficacy， high safety profile， good patient compliance， comprehensive intervention strategies， emphasis on prevention， and stepwise treatment protocols. Additionally， TCM is characterized by six distinctive features： the use of natural medicinal substances， non-invasive external therapies， integration of medicinal dietetics， simple exercise regimens， precise syndrome differentiation， and diverse dosage forms. By combining internal and external treatments， TCM facilitates individualized regimen adjustment and holistic regulation， demonstrating remarkable effects in improving obesity-related metabolic indicators， regulating constitutional imbalance， and promoting healthy behaviors. However， challenges remain， such as inconsistent operational standards， insufficient high-quality clinical evidence， and a gap between basic research and clinical application. Future efforts should focus on accelerating the standardization of TCM diagnosis and treatment， conducting multicenter randomized controlled trials， and fostering interdisciplinary integration， so as to enhance the scientific validity and international recognition of TCM in the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity.

To develop biocontrol agents for the control of kiwifruit bacterial canker, we isolated a strain CXG2-5 with inhibitory activity against Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa), the pathogen of kiwifruit bacterial canker, from the rhizosphere soil of kiwifruit by the plate confrontation test. The strain was identified by morphological observation, physiological and biochemical tests, and molecular biological methods. The indoor control efficacy of the strain was determined by the inoculation of the strain into detached branches with wounds and into leaf discs by vacuum infiltration. The ability of the strain to expand and colonize leaf veins was determined by fluorescent labeling and scanning electron microscopy. Subsequently, the strain was prepared into microcapsules, the field control efficacy of which was evaluated. The strain CXG2-5 was identified as Pseudomonas benzenivorans. It demonstrated good antagonistic activity against Psa, with an inhibition zone diameter of 22 mm and an inhibition rate of 72.7%. The preventive effects of the strain on kiwifruit bacterial canker were better than the therapeutic effects on both detached branches and leaves, with the preventive effects reaching 65% and 92.4%, respectively. The control effect of microcapsules of this strain in the field reached 60.89%, which was slightly lower than that of 20% kasugamycin and higher than that of Bacillus subtilis wettable powder. In conclusion, strain CXG2-5 serves as a candidate for the control of kiwifruit bacterial canker, and the prepared microcapsules have good value for development and application.

The specific mechanisms of interferon regulatory factor 8(IRF8)in porcine intestinal in-nate immunity and resistance to enteric virus infection remain to be elucidated.To investigate the immunoregulatory role of IRF8,establishing an IRF8 gene knockout porcine intestinal epithelial cell(IPEC-J2)monoclonal cell line is of significant importance.This study initially aimed to obtain recombinant adeno-associated virus rAAV-sgIRF8-eGFP capable of knocking out the IRF8 gene through co-transfection of HEK-293T cells with three plasmids.Subsequently,IPEC-J2 cells were infected with the virus,and those expressing eGFP were selected by flow cytometry and cultured to form monoclonal cell lines.These cell lines were then identified by Sanger sequencing and West-ern blot techniques.Lastly,qPCR analysis was used to measure the expression levels of interferon factors IFN-α,IFN-β,IFN-γ and IFN-λ,providing preliminary insights into the impact of IRF8 gene knockout on IPEC-J2 cell immunity.The results demonstrated successful generation of rAAV-sgIRF8-eGFP,which successfully infected IPEC-J2 cells leading to eGFP fluorescence.Flow cytometry followed by cell culture led to the establishment of two monoclonal cell lines,IRF8-KO1 and IRF8-KO3.Sanger sequencing revealed a five-base deletion in IRF8-KO1 and a seven-base dele-tion in IRF8-KO3.Western blot confirmed the absence of IRF8 protein expression in IRF8-KO1,making it an ideal candidate monoclonal cell line.qPCR analysis of interferon factors indicated sig-nificant decrease in IFN-γ(P＜0.05)and IFN-λ(P＜0.01)transcription level in IRF8-knockout cells,while the transcription levels of IFN-α and IFN-β remained relatively unchanged.This study successfully established an IRF8 gene knockout IPEC-J2 monoclonal cell line,providing a founda-tion for further research on IRF8-related porcine intestinal immune regulation and mechanisms of intestinal virus infection.

Objective:To explore the research hotspots and trends in the literature related to hearing loss caused by organic solvents, and to provide an effective theoretical basis for further research on the impact of ototoxic organic solvents on the auditory system.Methods:In January 2024, literatures that met the inclusion/exclusion criteria from 1974 to 2023 in the PubMed database were selected. The authors, countries, journal fields and publishing institutions of the literatures were analyzed through Bicomb version 2.01. The author co-occurrence knowledge network graph and the literature publication institution graph were plotted using CiteSpace 6.3R1 Advance, and the co-occurrence clustering map of keywords was drawn using VOS viewer 1.6.19 software.Results:A total of 380 relevant literatures were retrieved, and 256 were finally included. The top three countries in terms of the number of published literature were the United States (accounting for 30.08%, 77/256), the United Kingdom (accounting for 17.97%, 46/256), and the Netherlands (accounting for 10.16%, 26/256). The published authors were represented by Pierre Campo, involving a total of 165 institutions, mainly occupational health research institutions and hearing institutions. It mainly involved related fields such as audiology, occupational medicine, environmental hygiene, toxicology, and otolaryngology. The key groups were painters, aviation industry personnel, gas station workers and agricultural workers. The key solvents included organic solvent mixtures, benzene and its derivatives, trichloroethylene, ethanol, carbon disulfide, etc.Conclusion:Research on hearing loss caused by organic solvents mainly focuses on countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, with a particular emphasis on occupational groups such as painters, aviation industry personnel, gas station workers, and agricultural personnel, as well as the ototoxic effects of organic solvent mixtures, benzene and its derivatives, etc. This provides a basis for subsequent mechanism exploration, protection strategy formulation, and hearing health management of the target population.

Objective To develop and validate a deep learning-based segmentation model for low-dose cervical spine X-ray,aiming to address the insufficient segmentation accuracy in low-dose protocols while balancing radiation protection and diagnostic accuracy.Methods A total of 1 363 patients cervical spine X-ray images data were collected.A dose-attenuation mathematical simulation sys-tem was constructed to generate 14 122 dynamic low-dose cervical spine images incorporating quantum noise,contrast degradation,and blur artifacts.A neural network model was developed for automated segmentation of low-dose cervical spine X-ray using this dataset.Results Within the dose range of 50%to 7.5%,the average reults of automatic segmentation by the neural network model and manual segmentation for each group were as follows:50%dose group,intersection over union(IoU)=0.98 vs 0.93(P=0.707)and Dice coefficient(Dice)=0.99 vs 0.96(P=0.749);10%dose group,IoU=0.97 vs 0.87(P=0.201)and Dice=0.99 vs 0.93(P=0.219);7.5%dose group,IoU=0.97 vs 0.67(P<0.01)and Dice=0.98 vs 0.80(P<0.01).Conclusion The developed deep learning model achieved robust cervical spine segmentation(IoU>0.96,Dice>0.98)below diagnostic dose thresholds[peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)<38 dB,structural similarity index(SSIM)<0.65].Under ultra-low-dose conditions(PSNR=27.710 dB,SSIM=0.274),it demonstrated a 44.78%IoU improvement and 22.5%Dice improvement over manual segmentation.This model enables minimal radia-tion exposure while preserving diagnostic performance,confirming its theoretical feasibility for low-dose X-ray image analysis and clinical research potential.

Salmonella,an important foodborne pathogen,is responsible for numerous diseases in both humans and animals.We conducted a genome-wide analysis of Salmonella isolates from diarrheal and foodborne infection cases in Gansu Province between 2021 and 2023.A total of 163 Salmonella strains were collected and subjected to biochemical identification,followed by serological typing,whole-genome sequencing,and bioinformatics characterization.The results revealed 27 distinct serotypes,among which Sal-monella typhimurium variant(S.4,[5],12∶1∶-),Salmonella enteritidis,and Salmonella enterica London were predominant.Notably,the serotype distribution exhibited significant variation across sample sources.Multilocus sequence typing(MLST)classified the iso-lates into 27 sequence types(STs),among which ST34,ST11,ST155,and ST19 had the highest prevalence.The MLST profiles dem-onstrated strong concordance with serological classifications.For Salmonella,we detected a total of 17 673 virulence genes in 374 cat-egories,carrying multiple virulence islands.Some strains carried virulence plasmid genes,among which 45 strains of Salmonella enter-itidis had higher types and numbers of virulence factors detected than other serotypes of Salmonella.Antimicrobial resistance profiling identified 69 resistance genes conferring resistance to 13 classes of antimicrobial agents,and multidrug resistance patterns were preva-lent among isolates.Plasmid characterization revealed 35 plasmid types,some containing antimicrobial resistance determinants.Addi-tionally,three disinfectant resistance genes were identified.This study highlights the extensive diversity of Salmonella serotypes and STs in Gansu Province and the complex repertoire of virulence and resistance genes.The emergence of disinfectant resistance genes un-derscores challenges in conventional disinfection protocols.These findings provide critical insights for refining Salmonella surveillance and control strategies in public health and food safety contexts.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of the relative electroencephalogram(EEG)power spectrum in cerebral in-farction patients with different lesion locations and neurological deficit severities.Methods From February,2024 to May,2025,70 patients with cerebral infarction who completed EEG examinations at Shijiazhuang People's Hospital were enrolled.They were divided into cortical group(n=19)and subcortical group(n=51)based on admission MRI/CT imaging,and divided into mild group(n=53)and moderate-to-se-vere group(n=17)according to the scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)and Barthel In-dex.All patients underwent 32-channel video-EEG monitoring.The power spectral density of α and θ waves,and the(δ+θ)/(α+β)ratio(DTABR)were analyzed in eight electrodes of F3,F4,P3,P4,T3,T4,O1 and O2.Results DTABR was higher in the cortical group than in the subcortical group across all eight electrodes(|Z|≥2.047,P<0.05),while the relative power decreased in α waves(|Z|≥1.968,P<0.05),and increased in θ waves(|Z|≥1.988,P<0.05)in the cortical group.DTABR was higher in the moderate-to-severe group than in the mild group(|Z|≥2.263,P<0.05).Conclusion Elevated DTABR suggests cortical involvement or more severe neurological impairment,and decreased αwave and increased θ wave activity are primarily observed in patients with cortical lesions,potentially serving as EEG indicators for identifying cortical involvement.

Objective To explore the chain-mediating effect of anxiety and maladaptive coping strategies on perceived social support and post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)in primary caregivers of children with acute leukemia.Methods Two hundred primary care-givers of children with acute leukemia treated in the Pediatric Hematology Department of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University between September 2022 and April 2023 were selected.A general information questionnaire,Perceived Social Support Scale,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,Trait Coping Style Questionnaire,and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-Civilian Version were used for the survey.Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationships between anxiety,maladaptive coping,perceived social sup-port,and PTSD.The chain-mediating effect was determined by structural equation modeling using Analysis of Moment Structures software and the Bootstrap method.Results PTSD was negatively correlated with perceived social support(r=-0.179,P＜0.05)and positively correlated with anxiety and maladaptive coping(r=0.762,P＜0.01;r=0.423,P＜0.01).Anxiety and maladaptive coping had chain-me-diating roles in the relationship between perceived social support and PTSD.Conclusion Perceived social support can indirectly affect the PTSD level of a caregiver through the chain-mediating effect of anxiety and maladaptive coping strategies.In clinical practice,enhancing caregivers perception of social support can alleviate anxiety,promote positive coping strategies,reduce negative coping strate-gies,and effectively reduce the risk of developing PTSD.

Objective To establish,evaluate and validate the Nomogram prediction model of radiation pneumonitis(RP)in intensity modulated radiotherapy(IMRT)with TCM syndrome elements.Methods 257 patients with locally advanved non-small cell lung cancer receiving IMRT were analyzed retrospectively.The total population was randomly divided into a training set and a validation set by 7:3.A prediction model was established by Lasso-Logistic regression analysis,and then visualized by Nomogram to evaluate and validate the model.Results Independent risk factors included in the prediction model included tumor stage(OR=6.576;P=0.003),position(OR=2.935;P=0.016),MLD of the affected lung(OR=1.001;P<0.001)and Yin deficiency(OR=3.861;P=0.003).Based on the above factors,the prediction model was constructed and visualized.The C-index of the training set and the validation set were 0.865 and 0.867,respectively.The calibration curves of the two sets had a good fit and had certain clinical usefulness.Conclusion Based on the clinical elements of Chinese and Western medicine,tumor stage,position,lung MLD and Yin deficiency,the model can accurately predict the occurrence of≥grade 2 RP,and provide a reference for clinical screening of high-risk patients and further improvement of treatment plan.
