OBJECTIVE To study the mechanism of action of herb pair of Angelica sinensis-Poria cocos in intervening in allergic rhinitis. METHODS The core targets of herb pair of A. sinensis-P. cocos in intervening in allergic rhinitis were predicted through network pharmacology. Allergic rhinitis model of rats was established by intraperitoneal injection of aluminum hydroxide and ovalbumin mixture， and the rats were randomly divided into model group， loratadine group （positive control group， 0.9 mg/kg）， and low-， medium-， high-dose groups of herb pair of A. sinensis-P. cocos （3， 6 and 12 g/kg）， with 10 rats in each group. Another 10 healthy rats were used as the normal group. Each group of rats was intragastrically administered the corresponding liquid or normal saline once a day for 30 consecutive days. After the last administration， the behavioral scores of each group of rats were calculated， the levels of immunoglobulin E （IgE）， histamine， interleukin-4 （IL-4） in serum， and the protein expression levels of IL-6， tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α）， and prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 2 （PTGS2） in nasal mucosa tissue were detected. The pathological morphology changes of nasal mucosa tissue were observed. RESULTS Network pharmacology analysis revealed that IL-6， TNF and PTGS2 might play a key role in the intervention of allergic rhinitis by herb pair of A. sinensis-P. cocos， and the IL-17 and TNF signaling pathways might be the typical inflammatory signaling pathways intervened by herb pair of A. sinensis-P. cocos in allergic rhinitis. The results of animal experiments showed that compared with the model group， the behavioral score， the levels of IgE， histamine and IL-4， and the protein expressions of IL-6， TNF-α and PTGS2 in each administration group were decreased significantly （P＜0.05）， and there was a dose-dependent relationship with the herb pair of A. sinensis-P. cocos （P＜ 0.05）. CONCLUSIONS The herb pair of A. sinensis-P. cocos can effectively alleviate the symptoms of rats with allergic rhinitis， the mechanism of which may be related to the inhibition of the expressions of IL-6， TNF-α and PTGS2.

The technology of three-dimensional(3D)printing emerged in the late 1970s and has since undergone considerable development to find numerous applications in mechanical engineering,industrial design,and biomedicine.In biomedical science,several studies have initially found that 3D printing technology can play an important role in the treatment of diseases in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.For example,3D printing technology has been applied to create detailed anatomical models of disease organs for preoperative personalized surgical strategies,surgical simulation,intraoperative navigation,medical training,and patient education.Moreover,cancer models have been created using 3D printing technology for the research and selection of chemotherapy drugs.With the aim to clarify the development and application of 3D printing technology in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery,we introduce seven common types of 3D printing technology and review the status of research and application of 3D printing technology in the field of hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.

Objective: To compare the effects of different purification processes on the content of salidroside in the extract of Herba Rhodiola to provide reference for the large-scale production. Methods: Ethanol precipitation, clarifier precipitation and AB-8 macro-porous resin separation was respectively used to purify the extract of Herba Rhodiolae, and HPLC was used to determine the content of salidroside to screen the optimum purification process. Results: After the purification by AB-8 macroporous resin, the content of sali-droside was as high as 0. 272 5 mg·ml-1followed by that by ethanol precipitation (70% alcohol), and the clarifier precipitation lost more salidroside. Conclusion: The purification of salidroside by AB-8 macroporous resin separation is with high yield, good selectivi-ty, promising reproducibility and so on, which is suitable for the large-scale production of salidroside.

Objective: To explore sarcoplasmic reticulum ryanodine receptor2 (RyR 2) expression and calcium releasing function in chronic heart failure (CHF) rabbits and to study the impact of long term valsartan treatment in relevant animals. Methods: HF model was established by volume overloading with pressure overloading in experimental rabbits. 27 rabbits were divided into 3 groups: Sham group, HF group and HF+valsartan group. n=9 in each group and the animals were treated for 7 weeks. Left ventricular structure, hemodynamic parameters, expression and functional changes of myocardiocyte sarcoplasmic reticulum RyR 2 were observed and compared among different groups. Results: Compared with Sham group, HF group had increased left ventricular mess index (LVMI), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP) and decreased left ventricular shortening fraction, LVEF, all P<0.05. Compared with HF group, HF+valsartan group showed decreased LVMI, LVEDP and increased left ventricular shortening fraction, LVEF, all P<0.05. Sarcoplasmic reticulum RyR 2 expression and calcium releasing function were lower in HF group than Sham group, P<0.05; while they were both higher in HF+valsartan group than HF group, P<0.05. Conclusion: Long term application of valsartan could improve the cardiac function which might be related to increased myocardial sarcoplasmic reticulum RyR 2 expression and calcium releasing function in experimental CHF rabbits.

Objective:To study the characteristics of intestinal tract pathological injury of rats in hypobaric hypoxia at different high altitude.Methods:30 male SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups:Plain group (n=6),High-altitude (HA) 5000 m for 10 day group(n=6),HA 5000 m for 21day group(n=6),HA 6500 m for 10day group(n=6),HA 6500 m for 21day group (n=6).Rats were raised normally either in plain or simulated high altitude environment,at the corresponding time point,rats were euthanized,small intestines were harvested,fixed tissues were processed routinely into paraffin and sections were stained routinely with hematoxylin and eosin.Morphologic parameters were measured by optical microscope and then the pathological injury score were evaluated.Results:The pathological injury scores ofjejunnm and ileum in the high altitude group were significantly higher than that of the plain group (P＜0.01),the pathological injury scores of jejunum,ileum and colon were significantly higher in the HA 5000 m for 21 day group than that of the HA 5000 m for 10 day group,but significant lower than that of the HA 6500 m for 21 day group,the pathological injury scores of jejunum,ileum and colon were significantly higher in the HA 6500 m for 10 day group than that of the HA 5000 m for 10 day group(P＜0.01,P＜0.05).The pathological injury scores of colon were significantly higher in the groups of the high altitude than the plain group except for the HA 5000 m for 10 day group (P＜0.01,P＜0.05).The pathological injury scores of jejunum had significant different with that of the colon in the HA 5000 m for 21 day group (P＜0.05);the pathological injury scores of both jejunum and ileum had significant different with that of the colon in the HA 6500 m for 21 day group(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).Conclusions:The injuries of the intestinal mucosa became serious with the with rising altitude and the stayed time,the intestinal injuries were more serious than that of colon at same situation,however there were no significant different between jejunum and ileum,the injuries of colon happened later than intestine,and they correlated with the stay time in the high altitude,which indicated that intestinal injury should be pay more attention in the early time of entering the hypobaric hypoxia environment of the high altitude.

Objective: To explore the changes of protein expression and activity of calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase-II (CaMK-II) in myocardium nucleus and sarcoplasmic reticulum in experimental rabbits with heart failure (HF).
Methods: A total of 16 rabbits were divided into 2 groups: Sham group and HF group, the HF model was established by volume overload plus pressure overload.n=8 in each group and all animals were treated for 7 weeks. Left ventricular structure, hemodynamic parameters and protein expression and activity of CaMK-II in myocardium nucleus and sarcoplasmic reticulum were examined and compared between 2 groups.
Results: Compared with Sham group, HF group presented increased left ventricular mass index (LVMI) (1.32 ± 0.06) g/kg vs (3.61 ± 0.09) g/kg, LVEDP (-1.50 ± 0.50) mmHg vs (23.00 ± 2.37) mmHg, allP<0.05; while decreased left ventricular shorten fraction (37.83 ± 3.58) % vs (17.38 ± 3.13) % and LVEF (71.92 ± 4.56) % vs (38.50 ± 6.07) %, allP<0.05. The protein expression and activity of CaMK-II were both higher in HF group than Sham group, allP<0.05.
Conclusion: Increased protein expression and activity of CaMK-II in myocardium nucleus and sarcoplasmic reticulum might be one of the mechanisms for HF occurrence in experimental rabbits.

Objective To investigate the effect of bortezomib with arsenic trioxide different concentration on the cell cycle and apoptosis of Raji cells. Methods Flow cytometry analysis showed that the relative number of cells in different phases and the percentages of cells calculated in G1 and S phase of the cell cycle and apoptosis were assessed after treatment with As2O3 and BOR or in combination with BOR in different concentration at indicated time (24 h, 48 h, 72 h). Results Flow cytometric analysis showed that the cell cycle was arrested at G1 phase, the number of cells G1 period increased significantly, and S phase decreased on Raji cells after As2O3 treatment. The relationship between the cellular DNA contents and the concentration of As2O3 showed a dose-and time-dependent manner (P ＜0.0001). But it was found that BOR had no effect on Raji cell cycle, but, in two drugs combination, cell apoptosis rate significantly increased from 16.98 % to 45.84 %. Conclusion The results show that As2O3 exerted variable and definite effects on lymphoma Raji cells, which indicated that As2O3 might induce apoptosis and arrest cell cycle. The combination of two drugs had a effective and synergistic effect on apoptosis.
