Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2025;31(4):310-313
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is characterized by its malignancy and rapid development. It is usually diagnosed in the middle and late stages in clinical practice. Conversion therapy offers surgical opportunities for previously unresectable HCC patients through multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment and improves the long-term survival rate of patients. This article reviews the current research progress of conversion therapy for HCC, and provides ideas for clinical practice and further research of conversion therapy strategies for HCC.

With the rapid development of information technology,WeChat official accounts have emerged as an essential tool in the education sector, standing out among numerous platforms due to their simplicity and versatile functions. This paper examines the chal-lenges in traditional orthodontic practice teaching and explores innovative approaches and practical outcomes of empowering undergradu-ate orthodontic practice teaching through WeChat official accounts.Educators utilize the platform to upload instructional videos on arch-wire bending, creating a"mobile and shared"teaching platform that provides students with additional support for self-learning and clin-ical practice.Through personalized instruction, students develop a"mind-eye-hand"three-dimensional operational skillset. The study reveals that empowering orthodontic education with WeChat official accounts effectively enhances students' learning interest, optimizes classroom time, and facilitates a mutual workload reduction for both teachers and students during teaching reforms.Furthermore,it pro-motes the homogenization, flexibility, and ecological development of teaching content. This model demonstrates promising application prospects and offers new ideas and practical pathways for digital innovation and transformation in dental education.

Gallbladder cancer constitutes the most prevalent malignant tumor of the biliary tract. It exhibits clinical characteristics such as challenging diagnosis in early stages, aggressive invasiveness, and poor prognosis. Studies have discovered that the occurrence, development, and metastasis of malignant tumors are closely associated with the inflammatory response, and the level of systemic inflammation within the body can be reflected by peripheral blood inflammatory indicators. This review delineates the research progress on the correlation between peripheral blood inflammatory markers and the prognosis of gallbladder cancer, with the intention of providing references for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis evaluation of gallbladder cancer.

Hearing loss is a disease with complex pathogenic factors and unclear pathogenesis, which can seriously affect patient health and quality of life. There is thus a need for an animal model that can simulate human hearing loss,to allow research into the pathogenesis of hearing loss and provide a basis for its treatment.Existing classical modeling method involve drug injection, including intraperitoneal injection of cisplatin, gentamicin, mitochondrial toxin,D-galactose,furosemide and kanamycin, and neomycin, and congenital cytomegalovirus infection.Physical modeling method include noise, cervical spinal injection of sclerosing agent, ischemia reperfusion, and vasopressin injection.Other novel modeling method also exist, such as genetic modification. In this article,we review the advantages and disadvantages of the above modeling method, with the aim of providing a basis for further research on the modeling method of hearing loss.

Objective To clarify the influencing factors of defensive medicine and provide ideas for preventing and re-solving defensive medicine. Methods Literature related to defensive medicine was searched, personnel related to de-fensive medicine were interviewed, and literature and interview data were coded with the method of grounded theo-ry,and related concepts and categories were summarized. Results After three levels of coding,52 initial concepts,23 initial categories,7 sub-categories and 3 main categories were sorted out,and the correlation among influencing factors was analyzed to build a three-dimensional model of"doctor-patient relationship-institutional system-social environment"influencing factors and their mechanism of action. Conclusion The influencing factors of defensive medi-cine mainly include doctor-patient relationship, institutional system and social environment. The three factors have an impact on defensive medicine through different mechanisms of action, which provides qualitative evidence for comprehensive analysis of factors in related studies of defensive medicine.
