Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is characterized by its malignancy and rapid development. It is usually diagnosed in the middle and late stages in clinical practice. Conversion therapy offers surgical opportunities for previously unresectable HCC patients through multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment and improves the long-term survival rate of patients. This article reviews the current research progress of conversion therapy for HCC, and provides ideas for clinical practice and further research of conversion therapy strategies for HCC.

Gallbladder cancer constitutes the most prevalent malignant tumor of the biliary tract. It exhibits clinical characteristics such as challenging diagnosis in early stages, aggressive invasiveness, and poor prognosis. Studies have discovered that the occurrence, development, and metastasis of malignant tumors are closely associated with the inflammatory response, and the level of systemic inflammation within the body can be reflected by peripheral blood inflammatory indicators. This review delineates the research progress on the correlation between peripheral blood inflammatory markers and the prognosis of gallbladder cancer, with the intention of providing references for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis evaluation of gallbladder cancer.

Hearing loss is a disease with complex pathogenic factors and unclear pathogenesis,which can seriously affect patient health and quality of life.There is thus a need for an animal model that can simulate human hearing loss,to allow research into the pathogenesis of hearing loss and provide a basis for its treatment.Existing classical modeling method involve drug injection,including intraperitoneal injection of cisplatin,gentamicin,mitochondrial toxin,D-galactose,furosemide and kanamycin,and neomycin,and congenital cytomegalovirus infection.Physical modeling method include noise,cervical spinal injection of sclerosing agent,ischemia reperfusion,and vasopressin injection.Other novel modeling method also exist,such as genetic modification.In this article,we review the advantages and disadvantages of the above modeling method,with the aim of providing a basis for further research on the modeling method of hearing loss.
