Objective:To understand the consultation for post-exposure prophylaxis(PEP) services and their related factors among college students who were at high risk for HIV infection in Hangzhou, and to provide a reference basis for formulating an intervention model for college students at high risk of HIV infection. Methods:A cross-sectional survey was conducted between November 2022, and March 2023, in 5 different types of schools in Hangzhou. The subjects should meet the inclusion criteria of age between 18 years and 24 years old self-reported having ever had sex in the past. The sample size was estimated at 864. An online survey was conducted among college students by questionnaire star of an online survey platform to collect their demographic information, sexual behavior characteristics, HIV test status, and consultation for PEP services. The HIV infection risk among participants was evaluated according to their sexual behavior. The consultation for PEP services and the related factors of college students who were at high risk for HIV infection were analyzed. Results:A total of 20 973 college students were surveyed, and 2 291 who have ever had sex were recruited in the study. The proportion assessed as being at high risk for HIV infection was 43.47% (996/2 291), and the proportion of consultation for PEP services was 9.24% (92/996). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that among college students who were at high risk for HIV infection, the positive related factors of consultation for PEP services included knowing about PEP services (a OR=17.49, 95% CI: 7.98-38.36) ,having HIV tests (a OR=3.92, 95% CI: 2.08-7.42) and access to condoms on campus (a OR=3.38, 95% CI: 2.02-5.65), and the negative related factor was homosexual orientation (a OR=0.24, 95% CI: 0.06-0.91). Conclusions:Among college students who were at high risk for HIV infection, the proportion of consultation for PEP services was at a lower level. It is necessary to strengthen further the health education of PEP services knowledge among college students, improve the PEP services system, and promote the utilization of PEP services to reduce new HIV infections among college students.

Thirty SPF Kunming male mice aged 6-8 weeks were randomly divided into five groups:the control group, the model group, and the low, medium, and high dose groups of Dilong.Except for the control group, the other mice were continuously injected intraperitoneally with 80 mg/kg cyclophosphamide for 3 days to prepare an immunosuppressive model. After the model-ing was completed, the control group and the model group were given an equal amount of physio-logical saline by gavage, while the low, medium, and high dose Dilong groups were given 100,200,and 400 mg/kg of Dilong fermented material by gavage, respectively. The treatment lasted for 14 days, and thymus, spleen, blood, and intestinal contents were collected 2 hours after the last admin-istration.The results showed that cyclophosphamide caused a weight loss in mice during the exper-iment,reduced thymus index, white blood cells, lymphocytes, granulocytes, immunoglobulin levels in the blood, and disrupted gut microbiota.Dilong fermented material can effectively improve the decrease in body weight and thymus index of mice, increase the levels of immune cells and immu-noglobulin in the blood, improve the diversity and richness of intestinal microbiota, and increase the abundance of beneficial bacteria.Dilong fermented can effectively alleviate the immune suppres-sion and intestinal microbiota disorder caused by cyclophosphamide in mice.Considering all fac-tors,the optimal dosage is 200 mg/kg.

Based on the character of strong promoter of the fibroin gene and high level secretion of fibroin of Bombyx mori, we amplified the promoter of heavy chain gene (Fib-H) and its downstream signal peptide sequence (FibHS) by PCR. After that, we cloned the PCR product in pBluescriptII SK (+) to form the vector pSK-FibHS and analyzed its sequence. The sequence identity was 99% comparable to that of the reported sequence by Blast on line. Then we digested pSk-Ser-DsRed-PolyA with Sal IKpn I to get DsRed-PolyA DNA fragment and subcloned it into vector pSK-FibHS to generate a transitorily secretory expression vector pSK-FibHS-DsRed-PolyA. After identified the recombinant plasmid by restriction enzyme digestion, we transfected pSK-FibHS-DsRed-PolyA into BmN cells by liposome. From the cells transfected with the recombinant vector, what the red fluorescence could be detected verified that the recombinant vector could express DsRed in BmN cells transiently. Furthermore, when silkworm had been injected with the recombinant vector pSK-FibHS-DsRed-PolyA, red fluorescence could be observed in the lumen of silk gland of silkworm. The result indicated that DsRed expressed transiently and was secreted into lumen of the silk gland. Therefore, we supposed that the cloned sequence (FibHS) possessed signal peptide bio-function. Moreover, this study would lay a foundation for the research on secretory expression of exogenous gene by silk gland bioreactor.
