Objective To analyze the global literature related to functional cure of hepatitis B from 2019 to 2023 by using bibliometric analysis methods,so as to help researchers understand the research hotspots and trends in this field. Methods The literature related to the topic of functional cure of hepatitis B included in the Science Citation Index Expanded(SCI-Expanded)of the Web of Science Core Collection from 2019 to 2023 was searched.By using VOSviewer and CiteSpace visual analysis tools, analyses were conducted from the perspectives of publication trends, international research cooperation networks, and keyword emergence, and were elaborated with the specific contents of the related literature to elucidate research hotspots and trends. Results A total of 600 eligible papers in this field were included.Keyword co-occurrence and thematic clustering suggested that the main research directions of functional cure were:serum biomarkers for prediction and monitoring of functional cure, functional cure and immunity, nucleoside analog discontinuation, interferon therapy, and long-term prognosis of functional cure. The research contents of the ESI highly cited original research papers were similar to the clustering of the above, but showed more attention on the novel agents for functional cure. The content of the keyword emergence map showed that hotspots of interest changed from virologic mechanisms and serum markers,to nucleoside analog discontinuation and interferon therapy, and finally to immunologic mechanisms and new drug. Conclusion The research hotspots and trends of functional cure of hepatitis B were focused on virological mechanism, serum markers, immunological mechanism, nucleoside analog discontinuation, interferon therapy, and long-term prognosis after cure.

Major depressive disorder(MDD)is a prevalent con-dition associated with substantial impairment and low remission rates.Traditional antidepressants demonstrate delayed effects, low cure rate, and inadequate therapeutic effectiveness for man-aging treatment-resistant depression(TRD).Several studies have shown that ketamine,a non-selective N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDAR)antagonist, can produce rapid and sustained antidepressant effects.Ketamine has demonstrated efficacy for reducing suicidality in TRD patients. However, the pharmaco-logical mechanism for ketamine's antidepressant effects remains incompletely understood.Previous research suggests that the an-tidepressant effects of ketamine may involve the monoaminergic, glutamatergic and dopaminergic systems. This paper provides an overview of the pharmacological mechanism for ketamine's anti-depressant effects and discuss the potential directions for future research.

Glutamate, norepinephrine, and their receptors com-prise the glutamatergic and norepinephrine systems, which mu-tually affect each other and play essential roles in mediating vari-ous neuropsychiatric diseases. This paper reviews the functions of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDA-R)and α2-adrenergic receptor(α2-AR)and their functional crosstalk at the molecular level in brain in common neuropsychiatric diseases, which would benefit our understanding of neuropathophysiology of psychiatric diseases, drug development and optimization of clinical neuro-psychopharmacology.

Objective To observe the value of CT radiomics for differentiating spinal bone islands(BI)and osteoblastic metastases(OBM).Methods Data of 109 BI lesions in 98 patients and 282 OBM lesions in 158 patients(including 103 OBM in 48 lung cancer cases,86 OBM in 52 breast cancer cases and 93 OBM in 58 prostate cancer cases)from 3 medical institutions were retrospectively analyzed.Data obtained from institution 1 were used as the internal dataset and divided into internal training set and internal validation set at a ratio of 7∶3,from institution 2 and 3 were used as external dataset. All datasets were divided into female data subset(including OBM of female lung cancer and breast cancer)and male data subset(including OBM of male lung cancer and prostate cancer).Radiomics features were extracted and screened to construct 3 different support vector machine(SVM)models, including model1 for distinguishing BI and OBM,model2 for differentiating OBM of female lung cancer and breast cancer, and model3 for differentiating OBM of male lung cancer and prostate cancer.Diagnostic efficacy of model1,CT value alone and 3 physicians(A,B,C)for distinguishing BI and OBM were assessed,as well as differentiating efficacy for different OBM of model2 and model3.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were drawn, and area under the curves(AUC)were calculated and compared. The differential diagnostic efficacy of model2 and model3 were also assessed with ROC analysis and AUC.Results AUC of model1 for distinguishing spinal OBM from BI in internal training set, internal validation set and external dataset was 0.99,0.98 and 0.86,respectively.In internal training set,model1 had higher AUC for distinguishing BI and OBM than that of physician A(AUC=0.78),B(AUC=0.87)and C(AUC=0.93)as well as that of mean CT value(AUC=0.78,all P<0.05).AUC in internal training set, internal validation set and external dataset of model2 for identifying female lung cancer and breast cancer OBM was 0.79,0.75 and 0.73,respectively,of model3 for discriminating male lung cancer from prostate cancer OBM was 0.77,0.74 and 0.77,respectively.Conclusion CT radiomics SVM model might reliablely distinguish OBM and BI.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2023;31(4):999-1004
OBJECTIVE:
To detect the relative expression of IGLL1 (immunoglobulin lambda-like polypeptide 1) mRNA in bone marrow of children with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), and analyze its correlation with the clinical characteristics and prognosis of the patients, so as to clarify the clinical significance of IGLL1 in pediatric T-ALL patients.
METHODS:
A total of 56 pediatric T-ALL patients hospitalized in Children's Hospital of Soochow University from June 2012 to December 2017 and treated with CCLG-ALL 2008 regimen were selected. Transcriptome sequencing technology was used to detect the transcription level of IGLL1 gene in children with T-ALL. According to 25% of the IGLL1 transcription level (cutoff value:448), the enrolled children were divided into IGLL1 low expression group (17 cases) and IGLL1 high expression group (39 cases). Combined with clinical data, the correlation between the expression level of IGLL1 and prognosis of the patients was analyzed.
RESULTS:
The comparative analysis showed that the transcription level of IGLL1 was not correlated with the clinical characteristics of the patients, such as sex, age, bone marrow blast, white blood cell (WBC) count at initial diagnosis. The 5-year OS rate of patients with high IGLL1 expression was significantly higher than that of patients with low IGLL1 expression (76.9%±6.7% vs 47.1%±12.1%, P =0.018). Further comparison of relapse-free survival (RFS) rate between the two groups showed that the 5-year RFS rate of patients with high IGLL1 expression was higher than that of patients with low IGLL1 expression, but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P =0.095). Multivariate COX analysis was conducted on common clinical prognostic factors (age, sex, WBC count at diagnosis, prednisone response on the 7th day, bone marrow response on the 15th day after treatment) and IGLL1 expression level, and the results showed that IGLL1 expression (P =0.012) and prednisone response (P =0.017) were independent risk factors for overall survival in pediatric T-ALL patients.
CONCLUSION
In pediatric T-ALL, the OS rate of children with high expression of IGLL1 gene was significantly higher than that of children with low expression of IGLL1 gene, and the expression level of IGLL1 gene was an independent factor affecting the survival of children with T-ALL, which suggests that IGLL1 is a marker of good clinical prognosis of children with T-ALL.
