Objective:
To explore the relationship of physical exercise behavior with mobile phone addiction and mental health of college students, so as to provide evidence for interventions to improve mobile phone addiction and mental health of college students.
Methods:
From October 8 to December 20 in 2024, 896 college students from 4 colleges in Beijing were selected using a combination of convenience sampling and stratified random cluster sampling method. Physical Activity Rating Scale (PARS-3), Mobile Phone Addiction Tendency Scale (MPATS), Adolescence Mental Health Diathesis Questionnaire (AMHDQ) and Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) were used. The correlation of mobile phone addiction and mental health on physical exercise behavior of college students were analyzed by multivariable Logistic regression and linear regression.
Results:
Among the surveyed college students, 504 (56.25%) students had low exercise, 262 (29.24%) had moderate exercise, 130 (14.51%) had high exercise, and 392 (43.75%) had sufficient exercise. The total score of PARS-3 was 18.00 ( 15.00 , 33.00) points. Logistic regression analysis showed that the total score of MPATS ( OR=1.022, 95%CI =1.008-1.036), the total score of SCL-90 ( OR=1.010, 95%CI = 1.005 -1.015), the total AMHDQ score ( OR=0.995, 95%CI =0.992-0.998) were significantly associated with insufficient exercise among college students ( P <0.05). Linear regression analysis showed that the scores of MPATS, AMHDQS and SCL-90 were significantly correlated with physical exercise behavior ( B=-0.20, 0.04, -0.07, P <0.05).
Conclusion
The physical exercise behavior of college students is related to mobile phone addiction and mental health.

ObjectiveTo understand the whole genome characteristics and the information for genetic evolution in the two coxsackievirus A2 (CVA2) strains isolated from patients with herpangina in Shanghai, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of herpetic angina. MethodsTwo CAV2 strains isolated from patients with herpetic angina in Shanghai were performed whole genome sequencing and analysis for phylogenetics, nucleotide homology, and evolution. ResultsA phylogenetic analysis of the VP1 region revealed that the two Shanghai strains both belonged to CVA2 genotype D, with the highest homology to OL357660, a strain from Yunnan. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) of the whole genome between the two Shanghai strains was 98.88%, and the ANI of the whole genome comparisons to other CVA2 genotype D strains and CVA2 genotypes A-C strains ranged from 84.64% to 97.42% and from 79.21% to 84.20%, respectively. The two Shanghai strains had low homology in the 3D region compared to the existing CVA2 strains. The phylogenetic analysis and sliding window nucleotide similarity analysis indicated that the two Shanghai strains and the Yunnan OL357660 strain might constitute a new genetic lineage. ConclusionThe two CVA2 strains isolated for the first time in Shanghai are assigned to genotype D (GenBank: PQ130039 and PQ130040), which is identical to the existing subtype prevalent in China. As represented by the Shanghai strains, a new CVA2 genetic lineage is been identified. This study has enriched the data on genetic evolution and genetic variation of CVA2 in Shanghai, indicating the requirement to strengthen surveillance for the epidemiological pattern of CVA2.

Body weight abnormalities, including overweight, obesity, and underweight, have become a dual public health challenge in Chinese adults: overweight and obesity lead to a variety of chronic complications, while underweight increases the risks of malnutrition, sarcopenia, and organ dysfunction. To systematically address these issues, multidisciplinary experts in endocrinology, sports science, nutrition, and psychiatry from various regions have held multiple weight management seminars. Based on the latest epidemiological data and clinical evidence, they expanded the guideline to include assessment and intervention strategies for underweight, in addition to the core content of obesity management. This guideline outlines the etiological mechanisms, evaluation methods, and multidimensional management strategies for overweight and obesity, covering key areas such as diagnosis and assessment, medical nutrition therapy, exercise prescription, pharmacological intervention, and psychological support. It is intended to provide a scientific and standardized approach to weight management across the adult population, aiming to curb the rising prevalence of obesity, mitigate complications associated with abnormal body weight, and improve nutritional status and overall quality of life.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a well-accepted therapy for atopic dermatitis (AD). However, there are currently no evidence-based guidelines integrating TCM and Western medicine for the treatment of AD, limiting the clinical application of such combined approaches. Therefore, the China Association of Chinese Medicine initiated the development of the current guideline, focusing on key issues related to the use of TCM in the treatment of AD. This guideline was developed in accordance with the principles of the guideline formulation manual published by the World Health Organization. A comprehensive review of the literature on the combined use of TCM and Western medicine to treat AD was conducted. The findings were extensively discussed by experts in dermatology and pharmacy with expertise in both TCM and Western medicine. This guideline comprises 23 recommendations across seven major areas, including TCM syndrome differentiation and classification of AD, principles and application scenarios of TCM combined with Western medicine for treating AD, outcome indicators for evaluating clinical efficacy of AD treatment, integration of TCM pattern classification and Western medicine across disease stages, daily management of AD, the use of internal TCM therapies and proprietary Chinese medicines, and TCM external treatments. This study examines the effects of zearalenone(ZEA)on the survival and function of lu-teinized granulosa cells, and studies the role of activating transcription factor 6(ATF6)in regula-ting apoptosis and functional abnormalities of luteinized granulosa cells induced by ZEA.An in vitro model of luteinized granulosa cells was utilized to examine the effects of ZEA treatment on apoptosis, hormone secretion, and the expression of relevant proteins.Furthermore, the expression of ATF6 was manipulated using siRNA to elucidate its regulatory function in the ZEA-induced damage of luteinized granulosa cells in mice. Our findings revealed that ZEA inhibited the activity of luteinized granulosa cells and reduced the secretion of estradiol(E2)and progesterone(P4)in a dose-dependent manner. The expression levels of p-IRE1,ATF6 and StAR in both low(20 pmol/L)and high(40 μmol/L)ZEA groups were significantly increased after 24 h(P<0.05).GRP78 had no significant change at low concentration treatment(P>0.05),but significantly increased at high concentration treatment(P<0.05).Similarly,ATF4 and p-EIF2α had no significant change at low concentration treatment(P>0.05),but significantly decreased at high concentration treat-ment(P<0.05).HSD3B2 and CYP19A1 were significantly decreased in both low and high concentration treatments(P<0.05).After 48 h of treatment,ATF6 and GRP78 were significantly increased in both low and high concentration treatments(P<0.05).p-IRE1 was significantly de-creased at low concentration treatment(P<0.05),but remained unchanged at high concentration treatment(P>0.05).ATF4,p-EIF2α,HSD3B2 and CYP19A1 were significantly decreased in both low and high concentration treatments(P<0.05).St AR was significantly increased in both low and high concentration treatments(P<0.05).Interference with the expression of ATF6 could sig-nificantly reduce the apoptosis induced by low concentration group(P<0.05),and enhanced the hormone secretion in both high and low concentration groups(P<0.05).In conclusion,ZEA can cause damage to luteinized granulosa cells and activate ATF6 signaling pathway.Interference with ATF6 can alleviate apoptosis and hormone secretion disturbance induced by low concentration ZEA,but has limited effect on damage caused by high concentration ZEA.

Since the concept of artificial intelligence(AI)was proposed in 1956,medicine has been one of its core application fields. At present,AI technology has run through the whole diagnosis and treatment process, and has been extended to innovative scenarios such as drug research and development, surgical robots, and clinical trial optimization.Scenario application is the backbone of the technical system.Multimodal data fusion integrates heterogeneous data such as images, medical records, and genes, and federated learning realizes cross-institutional privacy protection and sharing.Deep learning achieved more than 90%sensitivity in imaging diagnosis for lung nodule detection, while generative AI accelerates drug molecule design. The core applications cover four major areas field:AI is more accurate than professional doctors in breast cancer and diabetic retinopathy screening;robotics shortens hospital stays and improves spinal screw placement accuracy;AI shortens the discovery cycle of drug targets;machine learning improves the efficiency of subject screening and enables real-time data monitoring. The application of AI in the medical field is first constrained by data quality and algorithm bias, and the"black box"characteristics of AI models and the ambiguity of responsibility attribution are the core obstacles to clinical implementation. This paper analyzes key technological breakthroughs and typical cases, discusses the application scenarios and challenges of AI in medicine, and aims to provide a reference for the future development of medical intelligence.

Objective:To report a Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2 (CMT2) patient with SORD gene mutations, aiming to enhance the understanding of SORD gene-associated peripheral neuropathy. Methods:A CMT2 patient with SORD gene mutations was identified through whole exome sequencing in the Department of Neurology, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in January 2024, and the patients′ clinical features were elaborated in detail. 31-Phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy ( 31P-MRS) was employed to assess the phosphorus profile of the limbs, and real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was utilized to detect peripheral blood SORD gene mRNA expression levels in the patient, the family members, and the normal control. Additionally, the genetic and clinical characteristics of SORD gene mutation-related CMT2 and distal hereditary motor neuropathy (dHMN) were reviewed by searching the CNKI and PubMed databases. Results:The male CMT2 patient was 15 years old, presented with early-onset lower limb muscle weakness and atrophy, hypoesthesia, reduced tendon reflexes, and flat feet. 31P-MRS examination indicated that the pH of the patient′s leg was lower than that of the upper limb. Whole exome sequencing showed the patient carrying complex heterozygous mutations c.757delG (p.Ala253GlnfsTer27) and c.218C>T (P.Ser73Leu) in the SORD gene. The mRNA expression of the SORD gene of the patient′s mother [0.623(0.614, 0.645)] was lower than that of the patient′s father [0.961(0.888,1.020), H=13.330, P=0.007] and normal people [1.001(0.917, 1.092), H=14.830, P=0.002]. Through literature review, it is found that 31 SORD gene mutations have been reported worldwide, among which c.757delG (p.Ala253GlnfsTer27) was found to be a hotspot mutation, and all patients exhibited an autosomal recessive inheritance pattern. Conclusions:A patient with CMT2 caused by a compound heterozygous mutation c.757delG/c.218C>T in the SORD gene, with the main clinical symptoms of bilateral lower limb weakness, atrophy, sensory disturbance and reduced tendon reflexes is reported. Furthermore, 31P-MRS of the extremities is anticipated to both early and sensitively detect muscle lesions in patients with hereditary peripheral neuropathy.

Objective:To understand the etiological surveillance and drug resistance characteristics of Legionella pneumophila (LP) from the aqueous environment of public places in Shanghai, from 2011 to 2020, and provide evidence for surveillance of the disease. Methods:Environmental water samples were systematically collected from public venues in urban and suburban districts of Shanghai for LP surveillance. All the identified LP isolates underwent a series of testings including serotyping, pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE), sequence-based typing, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. χ2 test or Cochran-Armitage trend tests were used for statistical analysis and for temporal resistance patterns. Results:Among 6 263 water samples, the LP-positive rate was 20.93% (1 311/6 263). The positivity rate decreased from 24.98% (287/1 149) in 2011-2012 to 20.02% (1 024/5 114) in 2013-2020 ( χ2=13.92, P<0.001), with the highest monthly positivity observed from June to August (23.79%, 745/3 132). A total of 1 365 LP strains were isolated, of which 912 were further characterized, including 10 serotypes, 149 PFGE patterns, and 33 sequence types (ST). The predominant serotype was Lp1 (86.84%, 792/912), and the dominant ST was ST752 (29.50%, 269/912). ST clustering revealed two major clonal groups CG1 and CG2, accounting for 91.12% (831/912) of the isolates. The 190 LPs involved in the drug sensitivity test showed three resistance profiles: azithromycin resistance (31.05%, 59/190), ciprofloxacin resistance (0.53%, 1/190) and azithromycin+ciprofloxacin resistance (0.53%, 1/190). Azithromycin-resistant strains were predominantly ST1 (64.41%, 38/59). The antimicrobial resistance rate showed a significant decline, from 48.65% (18/37) in 2011-2012 to 28.10% (43/153) in 2013-2020 ( χ2=9.38, P=0.002). Conclusions:Compared to from 2011 to 2012, both the positivity rate and antimicrobial resistance prevalence of LP in public aqueous environments of Shanghai exhibited an overall decline from 2013 to 2020. The predominant types of LP were serotype Lp1 and sequence type ST752, with notable high-level resistance to azithromycin. Measures as enhancing the enforcement of water safety regulations and prioritizing surveillance of azithromycin resistance in LP were recommended to mitigate public health risks.
