ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Danggui Shaoyaosan on ferroptosis in the rat model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease （NAFLD） and explore the underlying mechanism based on the nuclear factor E₂-related factor 2 （Nrf2）/solute carrier family 7 member 11 （SLC7A11）/glutathione peroxidase 4 （GPX4） signaling pathway. MethodsThe sixty SD rats were randomly grouped as follows： control， model， Yishanfu （0.144 g·kg^-1）， and low-， medium-， and high-dose （2.44， 4.88， and 9.76 g·kg^-1， respectively） Danggui Shaoyaosan. A high-fat diet was used to establish the rat model of NAFLD. After 12 weeks of modeling， rats were treated with corresponding agents for 4 weeks. Then， the body weight and liver weight were measured， and the liver index was calculated. At the same time， serum and liver samples were collected. The levels or activities of total cholesterol （TC）， triglycerides （TG）， alanine aminotransferase （ALT）， aspartate aminotransferase （AST）， and Fe²⁺ in the serum and TC， TG， free fatty acids （FFA）， malondialdehyde （MDA）， superoxide dismutase （SOD）， glutathione peroxidase （GPX）， and Fe²⁺ in the liver were measured. Hematoxylin-eosin staining and oil red O staining were employed to observe the pathological changes in the liver. Immunofluorescence was used to assess the reactive oxygen species （ROS） content in the liver. Mitochondrial morphology was observed by transmission electron microscopy. The protein levels of Nrf2， SLC7A11， GPX4， transferrin receptor 1 （TFR1）， and divalent metal transporter 1 （DMT1） in the liver were determined by Western blot. ResultsCompared with the control group， the model group showed increases in the body weight， liver weight， liver index， levels or activities of TC， TG， ALT， AST， and Fe²⁺ in the serum， levels of TC， TG， FFA， MDA， Fe²⁺， and ROS in the liver， and protein levels of TFR1 and DMT1 in the liver （P<0.01）， and decreases in the activities of SOD， GPX and the protein levels of Nrf2， SLC7A11， and GPX4 in the liver （P<0.05， P<0.01）. Meanwhile， the liver tissue in the model group presented steatosis， iron deposition， mitochondrial shrinkage， and blurred or swollen mitochondrial cristae. Compared with the model group， all doses of Danggui Shaoyaosan reduced the body weight， liver weight， liver index， levels or activities of TC， TG， ALT， AST， and Fe²⁺ in the serum， levels of TC， TG， FFA， MDA， Fe²⁺， and ROS in the liver， and protein levels of TFR1 and DMT1 in the liver （P<0.01）， while increasing the activities of SOD and GPX and the protein levels of Nrf2， SLC7A11， and GPX4 in the liver （P<0.01）. Furthermore， Danggui Shaoyaosan alleviated steatosis， iron deposition， and mitochondrial damage in the liver. ConclusionDanggui Shaoyaosan may inhibit lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis by activating the Nrf2/SLC7A11/GPX4 signaling pathway to treat NAFLD.

Objective To investigate the effect of resistance training on the rehabilitation of patients after hip replacement with the framework of the theory of planned behavior(TPB).Methods A total of 85 patients of hip fracture patients in Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2022 to April 2023 were selected as research objects.The patients were separated into intervention group(n=43)and control group(n=42)by random sampling.Both groups were treated with routine nursing,and the intervention group was given resistance training based on TPB.The intervention time was 3 months.The Harris hip score(HHS),36-item short form(SF-36)score and Barthel index(BI)scores of the two groups were compared before intervention,1 month and 3 months after intervention,as well as the functional exercise compliance score of the patients 3 months after intervention.Results After 1 month and 3 months of intervention,the HHS,SF-36 score and BI score of intervention group were better than those of control group,and after 3 months of intervention,the executive ability of functional exercise in intervention group was significantly higher than that of control group,and the mean difference was significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Resistance training led by TPB can effectively improve the functional exercise compliance of patients after total hip arthroplasty,improve the muscle strength,balance ability and joint stability of patients,and then improve the daily activity ability and quality of life.

Objective To analyze the target volume margins and positioning errors in the radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)using the cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)of Halcyon linear accelerator for providing a reference for the margin from clinical target volume to planning target volume(CTV-to-PTV margin)in the radiotherapy for NPC using Halcyon linear accelerator,hence improving treatment precision and effectiveness.Methods A total of 117 NPC patients who received volumetric modulated arc therapy using Halcyon linear accelerator from May 2020 to June 2022 in Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine were enrolled.The 3861 CBCT images collected from the patients were matched with the CT images to obtain the correction values of the treatment couch in lateral(Lat),longitudinal(Lng)and vertical(Vrt)directions for positioning error analysis.The CTV-to-PTV margin was obtained by the equation(margin =2.5∑+0.7δ).Results The positioning errors in the radiotherapy for NPC using Halcyon linear accelerator were 0.10(0.00,0.10)cm,0.10(0.00,0.20)cm and 0.20(0.10,0.30)cm in Lat,Lng and Vrt directions,respectively.The CTV-to-PTV margins in Lat,Lng and Vrt directions were 0.12,0.12 and 0.09 cm,respectively.Conclusion Low positioning errors can be achieved for NPC patients undergoing image-guided treatment using Halcyon linear accelerator.

Objective:To investigate whether SKA1 is a key molecule regulating malignant proliferation of liver cancer, and further explore its mechanism to provide molecular theoretical basis for subsequent targeted therapy.Methods:The data of liver cancer from TCGA database were analyzed by bioinformatics technology. The expression of SKA1 in liver cancer was analyzed. At the same time, we also analyzed the relationship between the expression of SKA1 and the prognosis of patients with liver cancer. The hepatoma cell line overexpressing SKA1 was constructed by liposome-mediated cell transfection technique, and the effect of SKA1 on the proliferation of hepatoma cells was further tested by CCK-8 and plate cloning assay. At the same time, we found that E2F1 is also highly expressed in liver cancer, using bioinformatics technology to analyze the correlation between SKA1 and E2F1 expression, further detecting the binding site of E2F1 in the SKA1 promoter region, and using dual luciferase technology to detect E2F1 against SKA1. Transcriptional activation.Results:KA1 was highly expressed in liver cancer tissues, and the overall survival rate of liver cancer patients with high SKA1 expression was 49.8%, lower than that of patients with low SKA1 expression, showing a negative correlation. E2F1 is also highly expressed in liver cancer tissues, and the survival time of patients with liver cancer with high E2F1 expression is significantly lower than that in the low expression group, which was negatively correlated with poor prognosis. SKA1 overexpression could increase the proliferation ability of liver cancer cells by nearly 50%. SKA1 is regulated by the E2F1 transcription factor, and the E2F1 transcription factor is combined with the SKA1 promoter to transcriptionally activate the expression of SKA1 in liver cancer cells.Conclusion:E2F1 transcriptional activation of SKA1 promotes proliferation of hepatoma cells, leading to poor prognosis in patients with liver cancer

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of Zisheng pills in the treatment of adverse reactions in patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE). MethodsThis study included 72 patients with liver cancer hospitalized in the Department of Liver Diseases and Department of Oncology, Wenzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from June 2011 to May 2014. These cases were randomly divided into treatment group (n=37) and control group (n=35). All the patients were treated with TACE, as well as conventional symptomatic and supportive treatment. In addition, the treatment group was given Zisheng pills (one bag) three times a day for at least three consecutive months. Comparison of categorical data was made by chi-square test, while comparison of continuous data (expressed as mean±SD) was made by t test. Survival comparison was made by Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test. ResultsAfter the first TACE, there were significant differences in poor appetite and abdominal distension between the treatment group and the control group (P＜0.05); significant differences were also observed in CD3+ and CD4+ T lymphocytes between the two groups (P＜0.05). After the second TACE, there were significant differences in postoperative fatigue, poor appetite, and abdominal distension, as well as postoperative Karnofsky score, between the treatment group and the control group (P＜0.05); significant differences were also found in CD3+, CD4+, and CD8+ T lymphocytes and CD4+/CD8+ ratio between the two groups (P＜0.05). The median survival time showed no significant differences between the treatment group and the control group (82 vs 74 weeks, P＞0.05), but the 2-year overall survival rate was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (43.2% vs 20%, P＜0.05). ConclusionZisheng pills have good clinical efficacy in the treatment of adverse reactions in liver cancer patients after TACE, and it can improve the symptoms and quality of life, regulate peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets, and increase the 2-year overall survival rate.

Objective To observe the effects of Qishu granule on PI3K/Akt signaling transduction pathways in the process of hepatic fibrosis, and further explain the anti-hepatic fibrosis mechanism of Qishu granule.Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, experimental control group and Qishu granule group. Liver fibrosis was duplicated in rats by intraperitoneal injection of CCl4, and the rats were given appropriate treatment at the same day. Rats in Qishu granule group were given a gavage 2 g/(kg?d), 1.0 mL/100 g, while rats in experimental control group and normal group were given the same amount of aquae sterilisata. Rats in each group were taken liver tissue samples in the 1st, 2nd and 4th week, and were checked for the protein expression levels of p-Akt (Ser473), p-Akt (Thr308), Bad (Ser136) and Caspase9 by Western blot.Results Compared with the model group, expression levels of p-Akt (Ser473), p-Akt (Thr308), Bad (Ser136) and Caspase9 in model and Qishu granule groups increased in every time points (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, expression level of p-Akt (Ser473) in Qishu granule group decreased significantly in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th weeks, expression level of Caspase9 dropped in the 1st and the 4th weeks, with statistical significance (P<0.05,P<0.01);expressions of p-Akt (Thr308) and Bad (Ser136) were lower than those in model group, without statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion Qishu granule could regulate PI3K/Akt signaling transduction pathways, and inhibit the occurrence and development of liver fibrosis.

A total of 560 patients with primary hypertension were divided into two groups.Of them,260 were treated with Fosinopril(10～20 mg once daily),and the other 300 were treated with Amlodipine (5～10 mg once daily).The treatment lasted for 12 months in both groups.The levels of blood pressure (BP)、braehial ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)and pulse pressure(PP)were examined at baseline,6 month and 12 month with automatic analysis system of arteriosclerosis.BP in Amlodipine group(132/76 mm Hg)decreased more significantly than Fosinopril group(136/85 mm Hg),but Fosinopril group showed more remarkable changes in baPWV(1310 cm/s)and PP(52 mm Hg)than Amlodipine group(1400 cm/s and 56 mm Hg).

Objective To discuss the developing law of pathogeny and mechanism of chronic hepatitis type B.Methods Patients of chronic hepatitis type B,early hepatocirrhosis and ascites caused by hepatocirrhosis was chosen as objects and clinical information was collected face to face.Patterns of Chinese medicine were confirmed and counted seperately according to efficiency,deficiency and efficiency-deficiency sydrome,harmed Zang-Fu organs and syndrome factors.Finally,the developing law of pathogeny and mechanism was analyzed.Results As the state of chronic hepatitis type Bevolving,simple efficiency and deficiency sydrome decrease with efficiency-deficiency sydrome increasing.Zang-Fu organs damaged by chronic hepatitis type B including mostly liver,gallblader,spleen,stomach,kidney,Trijiao and so on,among which spleen and liver are mainly damaged.As the state of chronic hepatitis type B evolving,the frequencies of damage to gallblader,spleen,stomach,kidney,Trijiao and so on increase.Most simple chronic hepatitis type B cases are due to Shi,Shi-Re,efficiency and stasis of Qi,while most of early hepatocirrhosis stem from Shi-Re,extravasated blood,efficiency and stasis of Qi,with that of ascites caused by hepatocirrhosis originating from Shi-Re,extravasated blood,Shui,efficiency of Qi and Yin. Conclusion There is developing law in the character,location and syndrome factors of chronic hepatitis type B.
