Objective To investigate the association of liver radiodensity with the degree and progression of liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted among 114 CHB patients who were hospitalized in The First Hospital of Lanzhou University from January to December 2019,and related clinical data were collected, including laboratory tests and abdominal CT.The metabolic characteristics of the patients were assessed, and liver radiodensity was measured. An analysis of variance was used for comparison of normally distributed continuous data between three groups, and the Kruskal-Wallis H rank sum test was used for comparison of continuous data with skewed distribution between three groups;the chi-square test or the Fisher's exact test was used for comparison of categorical data between three groups.A logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the influencing factors for the degree of liver fibrosis, and the Cox proportional-hazards regression model analysis was used to investigate the influencing factors for the progression of liver fibrosis in CHB.Results Among the 114 patients enrolled,43(37.72%)had no liver cirrhosis,30(26.32%)were suspected of liver cirrhosis, and 41(35.96%)had liver cirrhosis, with a median follow-up time of 538.5(322.75-1 031.50)days.Liver radiodensity on plain scan(odds ratio[OR]=0.81,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.68-0.97,P=0.025),liver radiodensity on contrast-enhanced scan(OR=0.95,95%CI:0.90-0.99,P=0.037),and liver volume(OR=0.99,95%CI:0.98-0.99,P<0.001)were independent influencing factors for the degree of liver fibrosis. The univariate Cox regression analysis showed that the low level of HDL(hazard ratio=2.81,95%CI:1.04-7.54,P=0.041)was associated with the progression of liver fibrosis in CHB patients, and the degree of liver fibrosis, liver volume, and liver radiodensity showed no significant association with the progression of liver fibrosis(all P>0.05).Conclusion In CHB patients, liver radiodensity is an independent influencing factor for the degree of liver fibrosis, and low HDL has a marked influence on the progression of liver fibrosis.

Objective To compare the segmenting efficacy of automatic segmentation models for advanced gastric cancer(AGC)on CT virtual monoenergetic images(VMI),non-linear blending images(NLBI)and mixed-energy images(MEI)based on 3D-nnU-Net.Methods Totally 216 cases of AGC were retrospectively enrolled, among them 185 cases were used to construct, train and validate models and divided into training set(n=154)and test set(n=31)at the ratio of 5∶1,while the other 31 cases were used as validation set to evaluate the generalization of the models. The 70 keV energy level VMI(VMI70 keV),NLBI and MEI were reconstructed with whole-abdominal dual-energy mode venous CT,and automatic segmentation models of AGC,including VMI70 keV,NLBI and MEI models were constructed using 3D-nnU-Net,respectively.Taken manually segmented results as golden standards, the efficacy of each model for segmenting all lesions and T2 stage lesions in test set and validation set were evaluated using Dice similarity coefficient(DSC),intersection over union(IoU)and average symmetric surface distance(ASSD).Results For all lesions in test and validation sets,DSC of 3 models were all>0.80.DSC and IoU of VMI70 keV and NLBI models were both higher, while their ASSD was lower than those of MEI model(all P<0.05).For T2 stage AGC in both test set and validation set(each n=5),DSC of MEI model was lower than that of VMI70 keV and NLBI models(both P<0.05),while IoU of MEI model was lower than that of VMI70 keV model(P<0.05),and its ASSD was higher than that of NLBI model(P<0.05).Conclusion All 3D-nnU-Net-based VMI70 keV,NLBI and MEI models could effectively segment AGC on dual-energy CT images, and the segmentation efficacy of the former two were better.

Objective:To establish a method for the determination of 2, 3-Butanedione (BUT) in the air of workplace, which including the process of collection by absorption in phosphoric acid aqueous solution and the process of analysis and detection by high performance liquid chromatography with derivatization. Methods:In October 2022, a porous glass plate absorption tube containing 10 ml of 0.01% phosphoric acid solution was used to collect BUT in the air of the workplace at a flow rate of 0.2 L/min. The absorption solution was derived by 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazine for 75 min and separated on a SB-C18 column (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) . At the column temperature of 30 ℃, the mixture of acetonitrile-water ( V∶ V, 1∶1) was eluted at the flow rate of 1.0 ml/min. It was detected by UV detector (λ=365 nm) , qualitatived by retention time and quantitatived by external standard. Results:It showed that BUT in phosphoric acid aqueous solution could be stored for at least 7 d at 4 ℃. There was a linear relationship within the determination range of 0.05-6.00 μg/ml, the linear regression equation was y=89.610 x+0.133, r=0.9999. The sampling absorption efficiencies were 98.33%-100.00%, the detection limit of the method was 0.005 μg/ml, the minimum detection concentration was 0.016 mg/m 3 (based on V0=3.0 L) . The recovery rates were 95.96%-102.44%, the intra batch precision were 4.36%-7.78%, and the inter batch precision were 4.96%-6.06%. Conclusion:The method has the advantages of simple operation, high sensitivity and good accuracy. It can prevent the loss and degradation of BUT. It can be used for the determination of BUT in the air of workplace.

Objective:The pregnancy outcome, related influencing factors and genetic results of pregnant women with intracranial cysts were comparatively analyzed to provide evidence for prenatal consultation and clini-cal treatment of the fetus with intracranial cyst. Methods:A total of 92 pregnant women with fetal intracranial cysts were selected. The data of pregnancy and delivery were collected by electronic medical record system. The prog-nosis of newborn was recorded by telephone follow-up.According to the pregnancy outcome, they were divided into continued pregnancy group(80/92,87%)and induced labor group(12/92,13%).Analyze the factors that might influence the pregnancy outcome of intracranial cysts,as well as genetic outcomes. Results:Compared with the continued pregnancy group and the induced labor group, there were statistical differences between the gesta-tion age at diagnosis≤28 weeks and the presence of other abnormalities(P<0.05),but there were no statistical differences in the age of pregnant women and the number of intracranial cysts(P>0.05).The results of genetic examination were compared between normal and abnormal groups of 25 cases, and there were no statistical differences in the age of pregnant women, the gestation age at diagnosis, whether there was adverse pregnancy history, whether there was single cyst, and the presence of other abnormalities(P>0.05).Conclusions:Diagno-sis of fetal intracranial cyst at≤28 weeks gestation and other systemic abnormalities are risk factors affecting pregnancy outcome.
