Aim To study the regulatory effect of acupuncture pretreatment on ferroptosis of nerve cells in rats with ischemic stroke. Methods Sixty SD rats were randomly divided into sham middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)group,MCAO group, and acupuncture+MCAO group. In the acupuncture+MCAO group, the acupuncture points of DU26,PC6,and SP6,were selected for acupuncture pretreatment, once a day for a total of 5 days. After pre-treatment,MCAO or sham MCAO models were prepared. The Zausinger sextintegral method was used to score the neuro-logical function of rats, and the infarct volume of brain tissue was calculated by TTC staining.Electron microscopy was used to observe the pathomorphological changes of brain tissue. The iron content was detected by colorimetric method, the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)and glutathione(GSH)was determined by ELISA,and the expression of glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)was detected by immunofluorescence. Results Compared with the sham MCAO group, the MCAO group had a decrease in neurological function scores,a significant increase in infarct volume,a decrease in the number of mitochondria under electron microscopy,a rupture and vacuolization of the inner mitochondrial cristae,an in-crease in the contents of iron and MDA in brain tissue, and a decrease in GSH content and GPX4 expression.Compared with the MCAO group, the acupuncture+MCAO group had an increase in neurological function scores,a decrease in infarct volume,a large number of mitochondria under electron microscopy,a clear structure,a decrease or disordered arrangement of some mitochondrial crest structures,a decrease in the contents of iron and MDA in brain tissue, and an increase in GSH content and GPX4 expression. Conclusion Acupuncture pretreatment can alleviate neurological damage in rats, and its mechanism may be related to regulating iron,GSH and MDA contents in brain tissue, and GPX4 expression, improving cell antioxidant capacity and inhibiting nerve cell ferroptosis.

Immature permanent teeth refer to those that have erupted but have not yet formed and matured in terms of shape and structure. The characteristics of their disease onset and treatment methods are different from those of ordinary permanent teeth. Children with special healthcare needs often lack the capacity to cooperate during routine dental procedures, making treatment under general anesthesia (GA) the preferred option. With social advancements, the demand for pediatric dental GA has considerably increased. This study discuss the treatment strategies for immature permanent teeth under GA, including diagnosis, therapeutic principles, key considerations, and clinical approaches for dental caries, pulpitis periapical periodontitis, etc.

Bone grafting is a primary method for treating bone defects. Among various graft materials, xenogeneic bone substitutes are widely used in clinical practice due to their abundant sources, convenient processing and storage, and avoidance of secondary surgeries. With the advancement of domestic production and the limitations of imported products, an increasing number of bone filling or grafting substitute materials isentering clinical trials. Relevant experts have drafted this consensus to enhance the management of medical device clinical trials, protect the rights of participants, and ensure the scientific and effective execution of trials. It summarizes clinical experience in aspects, such as design principles, participant inclusion/exclusion criteria, observation periods, efficacy evaluation metrics, safety assessment indicators, and quality control, to provide guidance for professionals in the field.

Tooth autotransplantation is a restoration technology that grafts the patient's own teeth to the missing tooth area, usually by using the third molar to replace a nonnormally functioning molar for the purpose of "turning waste into treasure". Robotic surgical assistance has been widely used in the fields of breast cancer, liver cancer, and orthopedics; however, its application in the dental field, particularly in tooth autotransplantation, remains relatively rare. This paper reports a case of tooth autotransplantation with the assistance of a domestic autonomous oral surgery robot, providing a reference for the application of robotic surgery assistance in tooth autotransplantation.

Inspection, the foremost of the four diagnostic methods in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),refers to a clinical approach involving observation of the body's overall condition and specific regions to assess pathological conditions. This method holds an important position in the clinical diagnostic system of TCM.However, traditional inspection is limited by the subjectivity of physician experience and technological means, often resulting in inconsistent and subjective outcomes. With the advancement of science and technology, the generalized inspection diagnosis technology of smart TCM has emerged. This innovative approach integrates classical TCM diagnostic theories with digital-intelligent technologies, enabling accurate collection and intelligent analysis of physiological indicators related to spirit, complexion, physique, and postures. The development of a generalized inspection diagnosis system of smart TCM based on this technology is crucial for promoting the objectivity, precision, and intelligence of TCM diagnosis and treatment. This article proposes that the core feature of the generalized inspection diagnosis system of smart TCM is the analytical logic based on the classic theory of TCM.The framework design of the system can be divided into five modules:data acquisition, data processing, knowledge graph and reasoning, report generation, and report analysis. The limitations and future development trends in data annotation standardization, integration of TCM theory and algorithms are also discussed. The aim is to provide a new paradigm for precise diagnosis in TCM,and advance research and practical implementation of smart TCM generalized inspection.
