Objective:To explore highly efficient ventilation protection technology for large-space workplaces adapted to the production process in composite material impregnation. Methods:A composite material impregnation room was selected as the research subject from August to December 2023. Occupational health investigation, on-site detection, and physical simulation of air distribution were used to analyze the distribution of the xylene concentrations in the impregnation room. In addition, the causes for excessive concentrations were analyzed, and the combination ventilation design of enclosed negative pressure cabinets and jet directional supply of fresh air was proposed. The concentration of xylene, the capture velocity and the differential pressure of ventilation facilities before and after the transformation were tested on the spot. The rationality of the airflow organization was determined through smoke testing, and the ventilation protection effects before and after the transformation were analyzed. Results:The time-weighted average allowable concentration ( CTWA) of xylene was reduced from 41.73 mg/m 3 to 7.78 mg/m 3, and the CTWA of xylene were reduced by 81.4%. The values of capture velocity at all areas were higer than 0.5 m/s, and the values of velocity unevenness in all regions were lower than or equal to 0.25. The differential pressure between the enclosed cabinet and the impregnation room corridor was -2 to -1 Pa. The overall velocity distribution at all areas was relatively uniform, the airflow organization was reasonable, and negative pressure was formed inside the enclosed cabinet. Conclusion:The combination ventilation design of xylene, the capture velocity and the differential pressure of ventilation facilities effectively reducing the xylene concentration in the workplace, and provide a reference for ventilation protection of xylene workplace.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2024;38(11):1056-1065
Objective:To analyze the acoustic characteristics of patients with hypopharyngeal cancer accompanied by vocal cord dysfunction. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of patients with hypopharyngeal cancer who were initially treated at The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from January 2018 to April 2024. Patients who had completed electronic laryngoscopy, stroboscopic laryngoscopy, and voice analysis were selected from the data. Among them, patients with hypopharyngeal cancer who had unilateral vocal cord activity disorders were selected as the experimental group, while patients with symmetrical bilateral vocal cord activity were assigned to the control group. Then the clinical characteristics, the vocal parameters, and the stroboscopic laryngoscopy results of patients with hypopharyngeal cancer in the experimental group and the control group were analyzed and compared. Results:Compared with that in the control group, the proportion of lesions located on the inner wall of the piriform fossa in the experimental group increased(83.3% vs 53.8%), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in vocal parameters such as SPL, Jitter, Shimmer, MPT, DSI, F0, sound intensity, electroglottic value and VHI between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05). However, the values of F0, Jitter, Shimmer and VHI in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. In addition, in terms of the results of stroboscopic laryngoscopy, the proportion of glottic insufficiency(42.9% vs 18.8%) and asymmetric arytenoid cartilage(64.3% vs 0) in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). However, the mucosal waves of the vocal cords on the affected side did not weaken in patients in both the experimental group and the control group. In the experimental group of 18 patients with hypopharyngeal cancer who received induction chemotherapy(nituzumab+nedaplatin+5-fluorouracil), 13 of them had improved vocal cord activity(improvement rate of 72.2%). Conclusion:Hypopharyngeal cancer in the medial wall of the pyriform fossa is more prone to vocal cord dysfunction, but vocal cord dysfunction has little effect on the vocal parameters of patients with hypopharyngeal cancer.

Objective:To explore the effect of cabinet type water curtain exhaust hood applied to small sandblasting machine to prevent and control silicon dust, and put forward a new idea of dust ventilation protection facilities to effectively protect the occupational health of workers. Methods:From August to October 2018, the cabinet type water curtain exhaust hood of sandblasting room in a research institute was selected as the research object, and the methods of occupational health survey, on-site detection and physical simulation of air distribution were used to conduct on-site detection and smoke emission test on the local exhaust facilities, silica dust concentration, control wind speed and air distribution before and after the transformation line analysis and evaluation. Results:The air distribution simulation experiment showed that the air distribution of the cabinet type water curtain exhaust hood was reasonable and could effectively control the whole range of silica dust emission during the cleaning process. After modification, the capture velocity was increased from 0.01 m/s to 0.53 m/s, and the capture velocity was increased by 98.1%. The time weighted average allowable concentration ( CTWA) of silicon dust (total dust) during sand blasting, cabin opening and cleaning was reduced from 7.00 mg/m 3 to 0.50 mg/m 3. The CTWA of silica dust (exhalation dust) was decreased from 3.36 mg/m 3 to 0.27 mg/m 3, and the CTWA dust reduction rates of total dust and respirable dust were 92.9% and 92.0%, respectively. Conclusion:The combination of cabinet type exhaust hood and water curtain dedusting optimizes the combination mode of dust prevention and control. It has the advantages of high efficiency of dedusting and purification, energy saving and environmental protection, and can be popularized and used in enterprises of the same nature.

Journal of Veterinary Science 2021;22(5):e69-
Background:
Bovine group A rotavirus (BoRVA) is a major cause of severe gastroenteritis in newborn dairy calves. Only one study has investigated the G and P genotypes among dairy calves in a few regions of China, which were G6 and P[5]. Therefore, data on the prevalence and molecular characteristics of BoRVA in dairy calves in China remains limited.
Objectives:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence and molecular characteristics of BoRVA in dairy calves in China.
Methods:
269 dairy calves diarrheic samples from 23 farms in six provinces in China were collected to detect BoRVA using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.
Results:
71% of samples were determined to be BoRVA-positive. Two G genotypes (G6, G10) and two P genotypes (P[1], P[5]) were identified, and G6P[1] BoRVA was the predominant strain. Moreover, the VP7 and VP4 gene sequences of these dairy calf BoRVA strains revealed abundant genetic diversity. Interestingly, eight out of 17 complete G6 VP7 sequences were clustered into G6 lineage VI and analysis showed the strains were closely related to Chinese yak BoRVA strains.
Conclusions
The results of this study show that BoRVA circulates widely among dairy calves in China, and the dominant genotype in circulation is G6P[1], first report on molecular characteristics of complete P[5] VP4 genes in chinese dairy calves. These results will help us to further understand the prevalence and genetic evolution of BoRVA among dairy calves in China and, thus, prevent the disease more effectively.

Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2017;21(7):455-460,封3
Objective To evaluate the clinical and radiographic characteristics and function of erosive hand osteoarthritis (EOA) patients. Methods Data were obtained from 19 patients with EOA, including their social conditions, clinical conditions, radiographic scores and hand function evaluation. The number of hand osteoarthritis (HOA) patients was 312. The control group consisted of non-EOA patients with hand osteoarthritis with a ratio of 4:1 to EOA patients. A non-parameter test analysis was performed. All data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 statistical analysis, t test, χ2 test, Fisher exact probility and Spearman's correlations analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results Totally data of 19 patients were collected. Eighteen were female. Onset age was (56±8). Average duration was 56 (12~120) months. FIHOA scores of all the EOA patients were at least 5. All the erosions of 39 joints were characteristically central and erosive changes in 7 joints (18%) showed up as gull-wing. Among 39 erosive joints, including 12 (31%) E and 27 (69%) R, 34 (87%) distal interphalangeal joints were involved. Data analysis found out that EOA patients had longer disease duration (Z=2.610, P=0.009), more severe K-L level (44 ±11 vs 26 ±7, t=7.134, P<0.01), higher AUSCAN total score (28±6 vs 21±7, t=3.781, P<0.01) and higher AUSCAN function score (18±6 vs 12±6, t=4.042, P<0.01). The differences of ESR and CRP were not significant between EOA and non-EOA patients. Conclusion Erosions seen in EOA patients are centrally located gull-wing in the DIP joints. EOA patients have longer duration, more severe radiographic damage and worse joint function.
