ObjectiveTo construct a competency model for "dual-qualified" teachers in vocational undergraduate rehabilitation therapy programs based on the World Health Organization's rehabilitation competency framework (RCF) and relevant domestic and international standards, and explore the training pathways for rehabilitation therapy teachers in China. MethodsLiterature analysis and comparative research methods were employed to systematically review RCF, physiotherapist-education-framework-FINAL, the Minimum-Standards-for-the-Education-of-Occupational-Therapists, and the "dual-qualified" teacher standards in vocational education for China. Focusing on the characteristics of vocational undergraduate talent cultivation, it took the integration of the "educator-clinical rehabilitation therapist" dual roles as its starting point, combining rehabilitation industry competence with educator standards as its basic principle, and using RCF as its foundational dimension. It then integrated advanced competency dimensions required of vocational undergraduate teachers to form a dimensional framework. Following the systematic curriculum development concept of the work process, the core activities of each dimension were designed by combining, improving and expanding the concept integration method, and describing the ability characteristics in a graded and progressive manner, to construct a model. ResultsThis model was guided by the core concepts of three types of values and four types of professional beliefs. Vertically, it encompassed 28 activities across eight competency dimensions, including teaching practice, rehabilitation practice, digital literacy, professionalism, learning and development, management and leadership, applied research, and social service. Horizontally, it encompassed 53 corresponding competency characteristics across three advanced levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced). ConclusionThis model, through its vertical dimension design and horizontal progressive development, clearly describes the advancement of vocational undergraduate rehabilitation therapy teachers from newly hired teachers to backbone teachers and professional leaders. It not only aligns with the general requirements of the national standards for "dual-qualified" teachers in higher vocational colleges in China, but also incorporates an international perspective on rehabilitation education and practice, and possesses the characteristics of vocational undergraduate education that integrates multiple abilities and roles. At the theoretical level, it provides core theoretical support for establishing standardized and internationalized "dual-qualified" teacher standards for vocational undergraduate rehabilitation therapy programs in China; at the practical level, it serves as an "action map" for teacher professional development, assessment and evaluation, providing a key reference for constructing a systematic high-end skilled rehabilitation talent training system.

AIM:To investigate the modulatory effects of electroacupuncture(EA)on spinal cord neurons au-tophagy in rats with bone cancer pain.METHODS:(1)Verification of autophagy-related protein expression at different time points in a bone cancer pain model:a total of 56 female Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into a sham-operated(sham)group and a model group. The model group was further subdivided into 6 subgroups corresponding to time points of 3,6,9,12,15,and 18 d,with 8 rats per subgroup.Thermal and mechanical pain thresholds, tibial bone destruction, and spinal neuron marker neuronal nuclear antigen(NeuN)co-localized with LC3B,Beclin1,and P62 were examined in rats at each designated time point.(2)Changes in spinal autophagy proteins following EA intervention:an additional 40 rats were randomly assigned to sham group, model group,EA group, sham EA(SEA)group, and autoph-agy agonist rapamycin(Rap)group, with 8 animals per group.EA was administered to the rats in EA group beginning on day 6 after modeling, the rats in SEA group received needle insertion without electrical stimulation, while those in Rap group received intraperitoneal injections of rapamycin(5 mg/kg).Thermal pain thresholds were assessed at designated in-tervals,followed by mechanical pain threshold assessments conducted on the subsequent day.Treatment continued until day 21,with rapamycin administered at the end of each intervention day.Tibial bone destruction was evaluated using he-matoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.Expression levels of LC3B Ⅱ/LC3B I,Beclin1,and P62 proteins in the spinal cord were determined by Western blot and immunohistochemistry.RESULTS:(1)Compared with the Sham group, thermal and mechanical pain thresholds were significantly decreased in the model group starting from day 6(P<0.01).Rat tibial bones exhibited notable damage, with severity progressively increasing over time.Protein expression levels of LC3B Ⅱ/LC3B I,Beclin1,and P62 were significantly elevated in the spinal cord at various time points(P<0.01),and these pro-teins were co-localized with spinal cord neurons.(2)Compared with the model group, mechanical and thermal pain thresholds in the EA and Rap groups gradually increased, with statistically significant differences observed from days 8 and 6 onward,respectively(P<0.01).In addition,LC3B Ⅱ/LC3B I and Beclin1 protein expression levels were signifi-cantly upregulated(P<0.01),whereas P62 expression was markedly downregulated(P<0.01).Immunohistochemical analysis demonstrated significantly enhanced positive staining for LC3B Ⅱ/LC3B I and Beclin1 and significantly decreased positive staining for P62 in the spinal cord of rats in the EA and Rap groups(P<0.05).Notably,no significant differences were observed in the SEA group(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:EA promotes spinal cord neurons autophagy in rats with bone cancer pain. The enhancement of autophagy may represent a potential mechanism underlying the analgesic effect of EA in bone cancer pain.

Objective:To investigate the impact of different CT reconstruction kernels on the quantitative analysis of small pulmonary vessels in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and high-risk patients. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. Clinical and imaging data of 73 COPD and high-risk patients visiting the China-Japan Friendship Hospital between March and April 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent high-resolution CT of the chest and pulmonary function tests, with the ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity (FEV 1/FVC) obtained. The raw CT data were reconstructed using different kernels: the FC86 group used the adaptive iterative dose reduction(AIDR) 3D standard lung sharp reconstruction algorithm, the FC18 group used the AIDR 3D standard Body standard reconstruction algorithm, the advanced intelligent clear-IQ engine(AiCE) Lung group used the AiCE deep learning reconstruction algorithm for lung, and the AiCE Body group used the AiCE deep learning reconstruction algorithm for body. Image signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and image noise were calculated. The pulmonary vessel segmentation & Measurement software was used to segment and extract pulmonary arteries and veins of four groups in thin-slice whole-lung CT imaging, obtaining the ratio of small pulmonary arteries (%V artery<5) and the ratio of small pulmonary veins (%V vein<5). The One-way repeated measures ANOVA or Friedman test was used to compare the differences in SNR, CNR, image noise, %V artery<5, and %V vein<5 among the four groups, followed by Bonferroni post hoc or Bonferroni-Dunn test with P-value correction to analysis differences between subgroups. The correlations between %V artery<5 and FEV 1/FVC, as well as between %V vein<5 and FEV 1/FVC were analyzed using Spearman rank correlation analysis in all four groups. Results:The overall differences in image noise, SNR, and CNR in the AiCE Lung, AiCE Body, FC18, and FC86 groups were statistically significant ( P<0.001). Except for the difference in CNR values between the AiCE Lung group and the FC18 group, which was not statistically significant ( P=0.192), all differences were statistically significant ( P<0.016 7). The overall differences in %V artery<5 values and %V vein<5 values in the AiCE Lung, AiCE Body, FC18, and FC86 groups were statistically significant ( P<0.001). The %V artery<5 and %V vein<5 values in the FC18 group were lower than those in the AiCE Lung, AiCE Body, and FC86 groups ( P<0.016 7), and the rest of the differences were not statistically significant ( P>0.016 7). %V artery<5 and %V vein<5 were positively correlated with FEV 1/FVC in all 4 groups ( P<0.05), with the highest correlation coefficient between %V vein<5 and FEV 1/FVC in the AiCE Body group ( r=0.501, P=0.001). Conclusions:DLR-AiCE-based kernel reconstruction optimizes image quality and significantly affects the results of quantitative parameters of small pulmonary vessels. The reconstruction kernel prioritized for quantitative analysis of small vessels within the lungs in COPD based on the CT scanner in this study is AiCE Body.
