AIM:This study aims to investigate the changes in the lactylation levels of mitsugumin 53(MG53)protein during myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)and to further explore the potential molecular mechanisms by which MG53 lactylation impacts myocardial cell injury resulting from I/R.METHODS:A myocardial I/R model was established in mice through ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery followed by reperfusion.Simultaneous-ly,a hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)model of rat myocardial H9C2 cells was created in vitro.In the mouse model,TTC and HE staining were employed to assess myocardial ischemia and injury.The levels of creatine kinase and cardiac troponin I were quantified using ELISA,while MG53 expression was evaluated through immunofluorescence.In the in vitro cell model,CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry were utilized to measure cell viability and apoptosis level,respectively.The levels of MG53 protein,its lactylation,and ferroptosis-related proteins in both mouse myocardial tissue and in vitro rat cardiomyo-cytes were analyzed using immunoprecipitation and Western blot.Additionally,the levels of reactive oxygen species,fer-rous ion,lactate dehydrogenase and malondialdehyde in tissues and cells were measured using appropriate assay kits.RE-SULTS:In the I/R group,mouse myocardial tissue exhibited significant injury following cardiac I/R.The expression of MG53 protein was reduced,while the lactylation level of MG53 protein and the ferroptosis of myocardial cells were in-creased.In the in vitro cardiomyocyte experiments,H/R exposure resulted in decreased cell viability,increased apoptosis and ferroptosis levels,reduced MG53 protein expression,and increased MG53 lactylation level.Treatment with 2-deoxy-D-glucose(2-DG)improved cardiomyocyte viability,decreased apoptosis and ferroptosis levels,increased MG53 expres-sion,and lowered MG53 lactylation level.Furthermore,the addition of exogenous lactate significantly countered the ef-fects of 2-DG on cell viability and MG53 expression,and increased the cell apoptosis,ferroptosis and MG53 lactylation levels.CONCLUSION:During myocardial I/R,there is a down-regulation of MG53 protein expression accompanied by an increase in the lactylation level of MG53 protein.The elevation of MG53 lactylation may exacerbate myocardial I/R inju-ry by facilitating the ferroptosis of cardiomyocytes.

Objective To explore the guiding value of bioimpedance vector analysis (BIVA) in the hy-dration of the patients undergoing coronary angiography (CAG) in order to provide the practical and strongly operable objective indicators for clinical practice reducing the occurrence of contrast agent-related acute renal injury (CI-AKI).Methods The convenience sampling method was used to select 72 inpatients with coronary heart disease who underwent CAG for the first time in the department of cardiovascular medicine in this hos-pital from August to October 2023.The basic information of the patients was collected,the blood biochemistry and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-ProBNP) were collected,and the preoperative body moisture situation was obtained by BIVA.The laboratory data and contrast agent dosage were extracted from LIS sys-tem and nursing document system.The SPSS27.0 software was used to analyze the correlation between pre-operative body water and postoperative creatinine level,glomerular filtration rate (eGFR),CI-AKI.The rec-ommended range of total body water in this study was calculated by the formula (90% probability).Results The total body moisture measured before operation in the patients with CAG had weakly positive correlation with eGFR on postoperative 1 d (r=0.19,P=0.02).The total body moisture had weakly negative correlation with creatinine on postoperative 1 d (r=-0.23,P<0.01),slightly negative correlation with cre-atinine on postoperative 3 d (r=-0.24,P=0.04),and moderately negative correlation with postoperative CI-AKI occurrence (r=-0.35,P<0.01);the proportion of body water had slightly positive correlation with eGFR on postoperative 3 d (r=0.22,P=0.01).With the no occurrence of CI-AKI in the patients with CAG as the target,according to the formula calculation,it is suggested that the total body moisture range (90% probability) of this study should not be less than 33.25 L.Conclusion BIVA is of guiding significance for the hydration of the patients with CAG.

Objective? To monitor and analyze the temperature of different positions in the cold closet of an air-cooled refrigerator in a Class Ⅲ Grade A hospital, and provide guidance for nurses in the ward to use air-cooled refrigerators properly. Methods? Totally 3 air-cooled refrigerators from a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital in Zhejiang Province were selected by convenient sampling during June to July 2017. Temperature of 23 different positions from 3 compartments of the cold closet of each refrigerator were monitored, compared, and analyzed, covering the front, back, left, right, middle, storage box, air supply outlet, return air inlet, panel, and real- time temperature meter of the refrigerator, etc. Results?(1) The temperature of the front, back, left and right compartment of the air-cooled refrigerator was compared, temperature of the left and right of the middle and lower compartment was compared, temperature of the front and the back of the upper compartment was compared, all difference of the above showed no statistical significance (P＞ 0.05). The difference between the front and the back of the middle and lower compartment showed statistical significance (P＜0.01). (2) The difference between the refrigerator door and the monitoring point in the middle of the refrigerator was statistically significant (P＜0.01). (3)The temperature difference between the air supply outlet and the return air inlet was statistically significant (P＜0.01). (4)The real-time temperature detected in the refrigerator box was statistically different from the temperature detected in the middle of the refrigerator body (P＜0.01). Conclusions? Nurses should master the cold closet temperature features of air-cooled refrigerators, the temperature difference between different spatial positions, and the time difference of temperature changes after temperature modification and use the refrigerators correctly, so as to meet the temperature requirements for medicine storage in the wards.

Objective ToexploretheapplicationofVasoCT,astentimagingtechnique,instent-assisted coilaneurysmembolization.Methods Twentyconsecutivepatientswith23intracranialaneurysmswere treated with stent-assisted aneurysm embolization in the General Hospital of Armed Police Forces from December 2013 to November 2014 were enrolled. The patients performed VasoCT scan immediately after procedure. Then all the available images were used for stent-optimized reconstruction respectively. Under the XpertCT mode,the available images were observed with both volume imaging and maximum intensity projection. The available images were analyzed and they were divided into very clear,less clear,and not clearaccordingtothestentdevelopingclarity.Results Ofthe22aneurysmstreatedwithstent-assisted embolization,16 were occluded completely,6 were occluded partially. All the stents were expanded completely and were released to the expected locations;11 aneurysm stents developed clearly,9 developed less clearly,and 2didnotdevelopclearly.Conclusion VasoCTcanbeusedinthestent-assistedaneurysmembolization.It can clearly reveal the microscopic structure of the stents,location,relationship with the artery wall,and relationship between stents and coils. The clarity of stent development is associated with the diameters of the packed coils,and the stents are also affected by the metal artifacts projecting direction and the dense degree of the packing coils.
