Gliomas tend to have a poor prognosis and are the most common primary malignant tumors of the central nervous system. Compared with patients with other cancers, glioma patients often suffer from increased levels of psychological stress, such as anxiety and fear. Chronic stress (CS) is thought to impact glioma profoundly. However, because of the complex mechanisms underlying CS and variability in individual tolerance, the role of CS in glioma remains unclear. This review suggests a new proposal to redivide the stress system into two parts. Neuronal activity is dominant upstream. Stress-signaling molecules produced by the neuroendocrine system are dominant downstream. We discuss the underlying molecular mechanisms by which CS impacts glioma. Potential pharmacological treatments are also summarized from the therapeutic perspective of CS.

Objective:To investigate effect of Gehua Jiecheng Decoction on IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway in colon tissue of ulcerative colitis with"inflammatory to cancer transformation"(UC-UCAC)mice of spleen deficiency and damp-heat type. Methods:Ten from 80 SPF C57BL/6 male mice were randomly selected as blank group and other 70 mice were selected as model group. After establishment of spleen deficient damp-heat model, mice were randomly divided into model group(1st,2nd and 3rd cycle),Gehua Jiecheng Decoction high, medium and low doses groups and mesalazine group, with 10 pieces per group.UC-UCAC transformation model was further established with azo methane oxide solution(AOM)/sodium glucan sulfate(DSS).Each group was treated with corresponding drugs for 4 weeks.General state of mice was observed.Score of disease activity index(DAI)was calculated.HE staining was used to observe colonic mucosa pathology of mice.EGFR,IL-6,JAK2,STAT3 and p-STAT3 proteins and genes expressions in mice colon tissues were detected by Western blot,IHC and RT-qPCR,respectively.Results:Compared with blank group, mice in model group(3rd cycle)were generally in a worse state, colon mucosal tissue was cancerous,DAI score, target proteins and genes expressions were significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with model group(3rd cycle),general state of mice in all treatment groups were restored and colonic tissues pathology were improved to some extent.Target proteins and genes expressions in other treatment groups were significantly decreased except for Gehua Jiecheng Decoction low-dose group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Gehua Jiecheng Decoction may destroy tumor inflammatory microenvironment, repair damaged colonic mucosa tissue, delay inflamma-tion-cancer transformation process and prevent UCAC by inhibiting activation of IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and transabdominal sonography in antenatal placental adhesive disorders,to provide a theoretical basis for choosing different delivery ways. Methods 75 patients were assessed the placenta structure with MRI and transabdominal sonography. The patients were divided into two groups according placenta in the anterior and posterior uterus(41 cases in anterior group,34 cases in posterior group).Observed relationship between placenta and myometrium, compared imaging finding with pathological or clinical results. Results The sensitivity in diagnosis of placenta in the anterior uterine group was 75.0% with MRI and 95.0% for transabdominal Sonography (P< 0.05).The specificity was 90.1 % with MRI and 80.9 % for transabdominal sonography (P>0.05).The sensitivity in diagnosis of placenta in the posterior uterine group was 95.8% with MRI and 66.7 % for transabdominal Sonography(P<0.05).The specificity was 90.0% with MRI and 70.0% for sonography (P<0.05).There were significantly difference the imaging feature of uterine bulging, increased subplacental vascularity and dark intraplacental bands on T2-weighted images in placenta accrete group and nonplacenta accretegroup (P>0.05).Conclusion Both sonography and MRI have fairly good sensitivity and imaging features for prenatal diagnosis of placenta accrete.Especially,MRI is an excellent tool for diagnosis of placenta accrete in the posterior uterine.

Objective This study was performed to explore the association between oral Helicobacter pylori(HP)infection and oral lichen planus(OLP).Methods Some online electronic databases such as PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang and Chongqing VIP were searched for the eligible case control studies. The association between oral HP infection and OLP was esti-mated by the pooled odds ratios(OR)and 95% confidence intervals(95% CI).Statistical analyses were performed by using STA-TA11.0 software.Fixed or random effects model was used to calculate ORs and 95% CI according to heterogeneity. Results A total of 7 studies with 307 patients and 207 healthy controls were included in the current study. The results of meta-analysis showed the patients with OLP had a significantly higher prevalence of oral HP infection compared with the healthy population(OR=8.43, 95% CI:2.90-24.52,P<0.001).Conclusion This study suggested that HP may be a risk factor for OLP.These findings may guide new strategies for OLP therapy and prevention. However, due to the influence of the quality of the included literature,addi-tional high quality of studies with larger sample sizes are needed.

Objective To analyze the epidemud growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations in NSCLC patients in Fujian province. Methods Fresh specimens of lung cancer and corresponding normal lung tissue were collected from 50 cases of NSCLC patients. After DNA extraction, nested polymerase chain reaction (nested PCR)and direct deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)sequencing were used to analyze EGFR gene mutations in NSCLC patients. Results EGFR mutations in tumors were identified from 13 of 50(26%)patients,including 10 cages of in-frame deletion in exon 19 and 3 cases of amino acid substitution in exon 21.Conclusion The mjor type of EGFR mutation in NSCLC patients in Fujian is in-frame deletion in exon 19.
